Premium Member My Deepest Fantasies

There's no hope that the pain in my body and mind will ever go away.
There's no fountain of youth. We all grow old and gray.
So, I wish I was a white knight, slaying dragons, and battling in your name,
as my heart burns ever brightly with love's flame.
I wish I had the dashing looks and smile of someone like Tom Cruise,
and in your fantasy, you'd look my way to choose;
and that my ideals and heroism earned your unfeigned admiration...
and one thing more than any other in creation -
of all the things I dream of, I dream of nothing more than this -
in my deepest fantasies, I'll once receive your kiss.

Beneath the Boulders

Written January 17, 2015

I was born to the hunter
I was raised with the sheep
I was brought in with the soldiers
I was told not to fall asleep
I was told not to wonder
What lies on the otherside

Once I was a loner
Loitered around with the stoners
Who sought only to dream
But for the days when their dreams came true
Hand in hand with you
And everyone else who holds these ideals true

But as for now
We lie beneath the boulders
All the rubble that molds us
To stand shoulder to shoulder
With all those who came before words
That made us realize

That we're only a child
In the eyes of time
In reality
We can only hope
To become a spec of dust
In the vacuum of history

Premium Member Reversal of Thought

Amidst the chaos and conventions
The political ads with evil intentions
The truth was twisted and left to die
Watch the rich man laugh and the poor man cry
We had conservatives in our youth
Who had some connection to the truth
Power and greed, corruption and deceit
Have taken the battle into the street
Represent the people, they no longer can
losing connection to the common man
He's still conservative but he no longer buys
Assaults on the White House with innuendo and lies
He fears that the truth may never be found
Lost in the minds of leaders unsound
To win at the polls regardless of cost
Even if the country is lost
To rebuild a nation with the economy broken
Cannot be cured by lies that are spoken
Better ideals and integrity sought
The truth will bring a reversal of thought.

The actual twisting of the truth by Lyin' Ryan at the RNC
was an embarrassment to any American.

When hate rules
Compassion is one of the tools
Mankind could have a dark fate
When ruled by hate
Make you think their doing good things
But disaster it brings
Words spoken in love
Held in an iron glove
A curtain so to speak
Hiding truth from the weak
The meek
Words meant to to deceive
To weave
A sense of security to the eye
A lie
Hiding the truths in plain sight
So you don't fight
Not so sure what is right
Hate
Fate
Becomes the same
Who is to blame
Give us something we think we want
Then our decisions come back to haunt
And their smiles flaunt
But you were told
On the ideals you were sold
But you thought...
Hasn't history taught
Nothing is ever as it seems
Taking away our dreams
Give this, but I take that
And grow fat
While yours grows taunt
Their words then do haunt
No word ever true
...Nothing new...
Hate grows
Starts to show
Earth becomes the battle Royale
Who is loyal
Who is not
Hate will rot
To the core
Ask for more
When the truth you finally see
What left will there be
...Hate...
Not to late
To change this fate

Soaring Phoenix

—Aftermath, From Ground Zero—

No one will able to destroy this great nation
though Twin Towers collapsed to the ground in the heartless terrorists hands,
and only ugly twisted steel beams and concrete debris piled high
in the heart of world trade center.
Only ashes on the ground
smothering agonizing cries
that tore the ordinary workday’s morning air into pieces.

After struggle to stand in a dense smoke
and a fierce blaze for a couple of hours,
though two towering infernos collapsed in few seconds
one after another and took thousands of innocent lives,
were unable to take this nation’s noble ideals
the spirit for the foundation of this great country.

That is why our lady, Statue of Liberty, stands tall
holding ever-burning torch high in air.
That is why a flame brightens the heroes’ way to the world beyond
in Arlington cemetery, burns forever.
That is why a Phoenix arose from the gathered ashes at ground zero
soars the sky, watching over this nation’s glorious colors,
the Stars and Stripes, that flutter in the air proudly.

O nation that consists from all human races on earth,
yet everyone is treated equally.
O nation of diversified cultures,
yet every culture is regarded with same respect.
O nation of great vision
that stands with noble cause.
O nation of individuality,
yet united under one same nation’s colors.

O land of opportunity, and therefore,
everyone has hope.
Why not, therefore, we proud Americans
reassure our determination,
that is, to uphold our nation’s flag to the end.

Rebuild our dream on this ruin,
that is, to prosper all together under one same nation’s flag.
Reestablish our goal,
that is, to keep world’s peace.

March to the promised future hand in hand for the entire world,
upholding our nation’s colors before us, bringing our good will to all mankind.

Shunning

Today's world is such a mess
With evils integration
We see daily the list of lies
Beyond investigation
And yet above us flies the flag
That denies lies infestation
Taking us where injustice cries
Of greeds determination
Education comes disguised
As honesties demonstration
Using tools that often deny
For the sake of ostracization
Giving reason to the words
Of prejudice inflammation
Joining ideals of false accusers
They invent instigation
We ask why the cause of certain ones
to have this type of fixation
The reason given this time around
Because of there migration
Quiet goes the unaware
Given to hesitation
While even comes to the extreme
Of the livings extermination
The bridge too far has been crossed
With flagrant allegations
Leaders are chosen and given charge
Of wild extreme vexations
But almost goes to the cause
Of evils infiltration
Thanks to God for concerns
We find through Revelation

Technology

Twitter and Facebook
Our favorite games
What’s in the latest that technology makes

Now we can share with a touch of a finger
And we can post on our favorite singer

WhatsApp and Face Time
Movies that stream
Couldn’t imagine this in my wildest dream

Sending a picture at top record speed
Now, what is happening?
Why, it’s Live Feed

So, in this era where everything’s quick
What do you value, what do you pick

Why should we bother to go anywhere
Technology’s fast but friendships are rare
We don’t need to be social because everything’s home
Interconnected, but we feel alone

This is the sacrifice
This is deal
Things are disposable
But nothing seems real

We must remember that we’re not replaced
And not lose humanity in all that we face

Technology’s useful but socializing matters
Life’s accelerated, but relationships – battered
Let’s combine advancement with old-fashioned ideals
And we’ll experience how an authentic , rich life truly feels

I WAS ROME - MING THROUGH TIME.

WHEN I PASSED THROUGH A DOOR.

I WAS PART OF THE CLOUD ,

OBSERVING A WAR.

FREEDOM RIGHTS AND PRIVACY

WERE HANGING BY A THREAD.

LEGAL PROPAGANDA

BEING DRILLED INTO FOLKS HEADS.

PRIVACY IS A FRAGILE WORD.

ESPECIALLY WHEN I KNOW ,

EVERYTHING YOU EVER SAID ,

THOUGHT , HEARD OR TOLD.

GOTTA LOVE WHEN PEOPLE SAY,

THERE IS NOTHING I NEED TO HIDE.

THAT'S UNTILL I EXPOSE THE TRUTH

YOU SIMPLY CAN NOT DENY.

INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY,

GOES BEYOND THE SCOPE.

MANIPULATION OF YOUR THOUGHTS

HAS THE SAME EFFECT AS DOPE.

IF YOUR SUGGESTION CREATES IDEALS

THAT BENEFIT THE CORPORATION,

YOUR SURELY GOING TO GO ALONG

WITH NO NEED FOR EXPLANATION.

INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY,

INCLUDES THE FOODS YOU EAT.

IF BIG AGRA SAYS IT'S GOOD FOR YOU

TO JUSTIFY , YOU REPEAT.

OWNING WHAT YOU NEED TO GROW.

CORPORATIONS PATENT , AND SELL TO YOU.

GOVERNMENT , BLINDLY , GOES ALONG

AND THE POPULOUS , HAS NO CLUE.

KNOWING THINGS THAT FRIGHTEN YOU

LIKE HATRED , WARS AND CRIMES.

GOVERNMENT HAS TO PLAY ALONG

IN THE FORNICATION GAME OF MINDS.

INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY

INCLUDES SETTING PEOPLE UP.

IF ORGANIZED CRISIS ARE EXPOSED

THE COMPROMISED COVERUP.

ANOTHER WAY OF INVADING PRIVACY

IS STEALING PEOPLE'S TIME.

THE COMPLICIT AND COMPROMISED

CREATE CHAOS OF YOUR MIND.

MEANING THIS AND SAYING THAT

CLAIMING WRONG IS RIGHT.

WHEN CONSTANTLY BOMBARDED

DEPLETES YOUR TIME TO FIGHT.

WHEN WEAK. , TIRED AND GIVING IN.

METAPHORICALLY , THE SHIP IS SINKING.

YOU WILL RELINQUISH "ALL" PRIVACY

DRINK WHAT THE REST ARE DRINKING

ONCE DEPENDANT ON CORPORATION

THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN HIDE.

CORPORATIONS NO LONGER NEED YOU,

YOU BECOME RAWHIDE.

IT STARTS OUT WITH YOUR PRIVACY

WITHOUT NOTICE , YOU LOSE YOUR RIGHTS

THAT'LL BE THE END , OF SOVEREIGNTY

AS HUMANITY, GIVES UP ON THE FIGHT.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IMPLANTS

FOR SURE , THERE'S NO WAY OUT.

DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU SAY

THEY'LL OWN YOU , WITHOUT A DOUBT.

YOU'RE PRESENTLY IN A LIFETIME ,

GUIDED BY SOCIOPATHS.

IF YOU DARE , DISAGREE WITH THEM

YOUR DISCARDED JUST LIKE TRASH.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE , DELETES

AND SENSORS , VITAL INFORMATION.

IN OTHER WORDS , THE PSYCHOPATHS

CONTROL YOUR DESTINATION.

Premium Member Grieving People

They fled their land to find safety
instead, they found
cruel life wherever they lived
They've lost everything
because they're that way
Their aspirations crumbled
and they lost all their aspirations.

Something I strive
to be among the shattered
in honor of the broken
Thinking about all tears that would be shed
their world caves over them
their optimism turned into terror.

I wish to be with splintered people
the face-to-face challenge, people
the unseen, unheard, uninvolved
The type who strives to lurk in shadows
couldn't you trust me?

Why do they need not be alone?
Why must they weep to sleep?
All hope is lost to them
only darkness prevails
Alas, act in a purely unfazed manner
not having everything handy
They attempt to comprehend.
leaving from one paycheck to another
cheering and clapping sans graceful motions.

They weep until their eyes dry.
entirely on their own,
they can only wish for brighter days.
when they could find solace
As their emotions hardened into stones.

I am neutral about skin color
or their perceived sin
or their need to be flawless to win
I start with sight and sound
despite aspects or ground
should never be, where they're found.

Modern stupidity in innocence
stupidly that shoves them to survive
Fair pretense and pure all
illuminating blind minds
Luminousness of noble ideals
may aid the underprivileged
or bless, the broken-hearted.

To heal their wounded souls
to bestow hope to the desperate
to promise salvation
to wipe away their tears.

I am overwhelmed by such a plight
who can grasp their insight?
or even sense being near the site
they may offer love I could not bestow.

Ultimately, we are all flawed
suffocating, we stagger
costumes and snob jokes
Victims of other people's poking
no one's heart is empty.

Complexity creeps into our minds
may rush if others approach
each unspoken and broken
For the sake of finding
excluded role hiding
cruel passion ridding
Need to see well where you're sitting?

Premium Member Heroes

One does not have to die to be a hero,
Though many heroes paid the ultimate price,
That is but one among many scenarios,
Of steel, faith, valor and noble sacrifice.

Heroes dwell in neighborhoods across the land,
Who work on weekdays in many vocations,
And joyfully anticipate weekend plans,
For worship, rest, travel and recreation.

Heroes show great courage in the face of wrong,
Run-of-the-mill actors in life’s performance,
They stand brave, noble, and are morally strong,
Admired for their ideals and endurance.

They labor to provide for their families,
Thousands conquer through faith and inspiration,
Most shrink from being a liability,
Countless folk persevere by strong volition.

Gallant heroes are born each eventful day,
Standing up against all wrong and injustice,
Doing justice with lawful and upright ways,
Fighting against bigotry and prejudice.

They are the paladins of humanity,
Defending the weak; practicing charity,
They are champions and shields of liberty,
The daring offspring of justice and mercy.

Heroes seek out and expose vile behaviors,
Fend off the fiery darts of iniquity,
Legends to the broken and disfavored,
Icons among those living in poverty.

Heroes shun all forms of discrimination,
Have empathy for those under oppression,
Accept their divine call of obligation,
Stating war against tyranny’s repression.

Who is the brave and distinctive hero?
Everyday folk who value what is holy,
Who chose to live and standup against the foe,
And all that devalues personality.

One does not have to die to be a hero,
Although it may require that ultimate price.
People in midst of victories or sorrows,
Are heroes by living true and honest lives.
