"What are you doing here?"
"I'm standing here."
"Can't you read? It says no loitering!"
"I'm not loitering, I'm standing."
"Standing is loitering!"
"Can I sit on the ground then?"
"No! Get out of here!"
"Can I finish the hardboiled egg I bought in the Mart first?"
"No, f*ck you, that didn't buy rent for a place to stand!"
"Why are you so mean?"
"Why are you still loitering!"
"Wait, wait, let me check the dictionary on my i-phone. Hmm. It says here 'Loitering: To travel indolently and with frequent pauses.' Okay then, I won't loiter, I'll just stand here."
"Wait yourself! I've got an i-phone too. Hey! That wasn't the only meaning. It says, 'Loitering, to stand idly without apparent purpose.' So there! Skiddaddle!"
"But I do have a purpose, a major purpose."
"What purpose is that?"
"Soon as you walk away I'm gonna smoke a reefer. Maybe a crackpipe. Maybe mainline some horse, haven't decided. Pretty big purpose if you ask me!"
"You can't do drugs here."
"I'm not doing drugs."
"You said you were going to!"
"You said I needed a purpose to stand here. I guess my purpose could be to chuck rocks through the windows."
"I'm calling the cops!"
"You do that. I'll tell them you've had your pecker hanging out this whole time."

I am fearful and full of dread,
As I lay here on our marriage bed,
We have had yet another fight,
And as yet it is our end of the night.
He says he wants to show me he only cares,
But it is not love I feel, as I lay there.
I say, "No I am to sore and in pain."
He moves forward anyways as my tears fall down like rain.
I beg and plead and say, "Please no more"
But that is not what for me he has in store.
I give up as my claims fall on deaf ears,
I just lay there in my pool of tears.
I know he knows what he is doing,
That this is not my choosing.
What once was an expression and an act of our lovemaking,
Has now become something that he thinks is his right in just taking.
The days that I used to crave and hunger for his touch,
Have now turned to an act I must endure as such.
Even though he knows this is wrong and our fight has really had no end,
He believes that in this and this alone our love will transcend.
As he is holding me there on that bed,
Another world is where I go in my head.
He is my husband and I am his wife,
I can't believe this has become our life!
I lay there numb of spirit and mind,
Waiting and waiting for the end of time.
I think of all the ways that I can make him pay,
But in the end, as usual, I stay!!!
This is not the life I bargained for,
There in this life has to be more.
Why with this one man is it hard for me to walk away?
With any other man, I would not stay!
Now the time has come that I can take no more,
Though the time has not come to settle the score.
He begs and pleads for me to stay,
He can't bear for our love to go away!
I still love him and I know that is sick,
But we cannot help who our hearts pick!
I can, however, leave him alone,
I won't write nor will I phone.
His days of cruel treatment and torture so vile,
Are long over, there will be no trial!
I have become judge, jury, and executioner in this relationship!
You can bet there will no more second trips!
Time to move on and to heal,
I cannot and will not give him an appeal.
A new life is what I am forever bound,
A new love is what I found.
He does not get all of me,
For now, he is fine to let me be.
Will I ever be able to love again with all my heart?
Who knows, but now is the time to start.
I never give advice, but I’m telling you now,
Never joke with a person who doesn’t know how….
It’ll backfire in ways you cannot even imagine to venture a guess.
Shocking you unexpectedly with unnecessary and nasty cheerlessness.
“She’s lying,” they’ll spit, sputter, slander, slather, and say,
Because they have no knowledge of any kind of play.
Matter of fact, let us leave these people out of our heads, hearts, and homes.
Best of all to block them from your relatives, friends, and brand new I-phone.
Because the negativity they bring to your life may enter your soul.
Upon which time you might lose sight of your dreams, aspirations, and big goal.
I am not being heartless, because everyone knows, this is what they’ll do.
They’ll gravitate to more of their kind, angry people who want to be blue.
I sit with two I-pads on my lap
Four hours at a time
Sometimes six
Playing word games
Why two?
Because one is thinking
While I am pounding the keys on the other one.
I do not abide thinking time.
I have spent too many years wasting mine.
So now it is more precious
My husband walks through and speaks
Irritating me.
What was that word I just had?
Damn. It is gone.
My children phone.
I see it is them.
I hit END.
They never have anything more interesting to say
Than my word games.
I have won game of the week for 158 weeks on Word Chums
Not in a row, but obviously, I have been doing this for three years.
I am so addicted it is going to take more than an intervention.
Form:
Wearing headphones, every day, when I jump out of the car,
talking into my blue tooth, with one friend or another, so the
thirty-two minutes will not be a complete waste of time.
Home now, wanting to take a potty, jump into my pajamas,
and be left totally alone.
But I owe them a little something for
entertaining me for thirty-two minutes, right?
Wrong.
Social niceties are out the window when you are sixty-six. I am old.
I could be dead in an hour.
Good-bye, friend. Thanks for entertaining me on the way home.
Click.
I have the kind of friends who laugh, knowing me well.
Mindfulness Bah. Humbug. I spit on it.
I drag it through the mud. I crucify it.
Mindfulness – a term created by who?
Someone who does not fully understand the joy
of sitting mindlessly in front of a TV set, computer monitor
I-phone, or I-pad, that’s who.
Who ARE these idiots? Why do they think they are superior?
With their haughty eleven letter word that meant nothing
until one of them thought it up and started shoving it down our throats.
Well, mindfulness, you are not comfortable to me, and you never will be.
My throat is closed. Covid19 closed to your stupid mindful ways.
I have shut my mind to you because I adore sitting in a stupor
daydreaming of being in a different place, and having a better life
I can blissfully sit mindlessly in front of a monitor fighting bad guys,
watching their blood gush.
If I get bored, guess what? I can switch to word games or
a video or a movie, and watch until I am as dead as a stuffed beaver.
Staring at something, without even caring what the hell it is.
Giving myself an out from life.
Giving myself a chance to rejuvenate
so I can face work tomorrow.
So stuff it mindfulness.
You are supposed to show us how to relax?
You do not know what the hell
you are talking about…..
Relaxation is going into lah lah land doing NOTHING
being totally not-mindful, you idiot!
Deliverance from the moral mutual and spiritual
enemies of all mankind and both yours and also
mine.
Deliverance from feeling and emotions and thoughts
of bitterness, anger and sadness and pain and
resentment and death and pain and despair of morbid
grief and sinful worries.
Deliverance from depression and anxiety and stress and
fear of all of the things that is happening and going on in
the world as we know it today.
Who will go behind us and go forth in front of us? Nobody
will like Jesus Christ. When we walk through the valley
of despair--Jesus Christ is always there. But what about
the mountain top?
Jesus Christ's great guidance will never stop!
He always and already has been blessing me and keeping
me safe and secure under the protection of His wings and
by His Holy word and His Holy Spirit. And He is doing the
exact same thing for you and also and always.
Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
I will praise him again--
my Savior and my God!
Psalm 42:11
This helps me to cope much better with my morbid and sinful
thoughts and worries and my anxiety and depression and stress
during my day as assaults brought about because of the enemy
of all mankind and yours and also mine.
***These are excerpts from my I Phone to some close and
personal friends of mine and I sincerely hope and pray that
they will also bless you and help in your life's painful
struggles.
All of my love, life, dedication and devotion in
Christ Jesus!

The I-phone buzzes off and on all night.
An annoying sound, perils of playing multitude of word games.
Mostly scrabble, but others. Bzz. Bzz. Bzz. Bzz. Bzz.
I turn it off, but the buzzing continues. In uneven intervals,
Not a pretty rhythm or sound.
My I-pad is a culprit now. It is now buzzing too.
How she linked up with my I-phone is only known to my husband
Who thought he was helping me.
The electronic age is becoming annoying now
As it is bothering my already fitful sleep.
I unplug everything, feeling like the master.
Bzz. Bzz. Bzz.
My nerves are becoming irritated.
I am thinking of tossing them both out the window.
Blue Monarch Faerie had been vacationing in the Bahamas
So relaxed and pliable now, quite unlike her double mama’s.
Just wait ‘til you get back, one said over her scratchy I-phone.
They are hovering near your mushroom, some not alone.
She was bombarded upon wakening the very next day.
They had come from field, meadow, woods, quite far away.
There was a smooth-talking snail who wanted all of her time.
He spoke in riddles, jokes, short stories, and gave her a rhyme.
Surrounded by her favorite flowers of lilies, and cone flowers too.
She decided all of this attention should be okay as admirers grew.
There were two curious squirrels and a caustic cawing blue jay.
She saw a miniature raccoon stealthily sneaking her way.
A sassy salamander and red tree frog were chirping her name.
She asked them all for some space, but they became a tight frame.
Come on! She told them. I have to have some breathing room okay?
This was her first day back from vacation. Her very first day!
