to your private place,
where thoughts drift among untethered memories.
A deep peace overshadows
feelings of helplessness and confusion.
And you go to an imaginary place
where there is an infinite well
filled with the impetuous of youth,
love, desires, and secret revelations.
You focus on recalling love's first encounter,
and let that feeling fill your heart
with its magic.
Passion paints provocative pictures
that bring fantasies and wishes to life.
And like a flame burning in a tinder world,
your presence sets it on fire.
You conjure erotic, uncensored emotions
to appear on this stage of dreams;
for here you're the magician,
and pretending is part of the act.
But such intimate feelings hold power,
for they can either morph
into a magic moment,
or a dagger driven deep into your heart.
