On the Wings of a Butterfly- POTD - Collab With My Sister Cecilia Crasto

POTD 10th May 2018

A dedication to our departed Mum, Anne Forbes.
And to all the dearly departed Mums who celebrate Mother’s day on the second Sunday in May. We will meet again.

The day came when she had to leave
And we were left behind to grieve
If we could wish her back for a day
A million things we would need to say

As exquisite as painted silk these wings
I soar past clouds ~ with a Soul that sings

Every precious moment by her side
Fighting back tears we hold inside
Knowing she would go away
The Wish ~ was only for a day.

In a whirl of color flying fast
Hastening to a future of Ever last

A Wish granted ~ a butterfly in our midst
An astral sensation like we’ve been kissed
The Sun shines brighter on this glorious day
The whispering breeze that seems to say

Pearlescent petals in the air
Shimmering sun beams everywhere

I’m always here ~ I watch you all
And comfort you if you falter or fall
So dry your tears ~ no need to grieve
My tangible form ~ you must believe

I never left ~ I love you still
To Eternity’s end ~ I always will
On a whispering wind that gently sighs
I fly like a butterfly ~ there are no goodbyes

Take a walk with me within the forest;
Spring's nature promises a respite rest.
Gravel path, veiled in fragrant inspiring
Colors, untiring sounds of sweet flying
Feather sirens, and insect fluttering.

Inhale the air's spirit mirthful travel.
Listen to crunch and shift of course gravel,
See the dust rise upwards beneath our shoes,
Feel the cool wind blow and toss our hair lose.
Listen to hastening heartbeat resonance
Of clear blue, cool river at a distance,
Where it runs deep in its flowing existence.

Walk within the spring forest, breathe a piece
Of heaven that beckons and never cease.

Age: Steadfast Youths Root

Water flows from the silent dam
With a crying noise of joy to slam
The awaiting shouts of closed mouth
Skydiving eyes in prayers closed northsouth
The running around of hurray hurrying

Hot food feeds the cup holder
Up and down the street is the cardholder
To settle for true love and light
Having endure fear and pure fright
The pleasing moon that caused the day worrying

Nothing is so little to count on in life
Not simple, but not all strife
There is a point she breathes to die
That heart's beats really go awry
Making a twist seems unexpected

Weak cry and loyal smile give you voice
In motion never stable
Static not and ever brittle
But never got any a planned choice
Growing cute bites from urges recollected

As you pass from young to old
Embrace the love diced won in fold
Friends like family you shall adore
Before any of you is no more
Yes, memory alone will do the needful

Unity and conflict may beguile
Let frown and peace smile
To the fate hailing faith for test
Which could be for the best
Designing thy purpose-- beautiful

The hastening problem you can't stop
Must not by chance get to drop
To smuggle, steal or shatter
Persisting memory does matter
The one rolling eyes won't see

Each cycle, everyday does grow short
The gold ever more frail
Till the last one, do comport
The trying patience on the final rail
For easy sailing on the white troubling sea

Happy birthday to the one loving romance
That each and everyone got
In no real gothic second chance
The one anyone could quote
How time wanders not coming by

As you are naming what mattered
The glory of God will not be shattered
Grow forward forever to finding living
So interesting in all thy thanksgiving
Buying time to imparting before death says bye

Redding Poem 4
“Flying Down Interstate 5”

We departed Redding at 3:45,
In the dead of an October night.
Those tumultuous streets were morgues then,
As we raced to the deserted Interstate 5,
Zooming across the snoozing Sacramento River,
Going at a constant speed of 85,
Passing the snoring cities of Red Bluff, Chico and Yuba City,
Slicing through the darkness of early morning,
With the tule fog scratching over the countryside,
Shrouding the distant lights like blinders on a roan.
One city after another, my speeding treads arriving
In dark sleepy Sacramento in two hours.
With the sun not waking yet, but stirring,
The internal beast passed Stockton as a blur in time,
With other speeding drivers merging onboard,
As insistent captains of their own landlocked ships.
Then looming before us, the San Joaquin canvass;
A devouring flatness five hundred miles long,
Of faraway farmlands sleeping overtime,
The majestic surreal banality of Central California,
Magnetizing us, hypnotizing us to the hastening flow,
Of southern currents and windy traipsings;
This caravan of one, this golden fueled protrusion,
Of the nomadic heartbeat; the inertly-moving soul search;
This final journey to the rapids of my youth,
Where undead ghost boys still climb the rebar rungs,
Atop the old tower on the water’s edge,
Still spit into the blue, slow-paced river below.

August 17 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Jeremiah 22-25

Key Verse – Jeremiah 22:3 Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR INSTRUCTING US
TO EXECUTE RIGHTEOUSNESS

Praise be to God for instructing us to execute righteousness while:
Hearing Him by our attentiveness
Heeding to Him with our availability
Hastening to Him along our activeness
Hearkening to Him upon His assertive assurance
Holding on to Him while hailing Him in our adoration

Jeremiah 23:23 Praise be to the Lord for
being at hand, and not afar off:
Surely near with His fellowship
Strongly nurturing our faith-fortitude
Steadfastly nourishing us by His faithfulness
Serenely nice along His flourishing fruitfulness
Soberly noble upon His freedom-fitness for our freshness

Jeremiah 24:7 Praise be to the Saviour for giving us
the heart to know Him Who:
Redeems souls toward salvation-triumph
Rejoices service along His compassion-tasks
Revives spirituality with consecration-testimony
Rejuvenates stewardship by His caring against trials
Respects our sincerity, showing our conversion by His truth

Jeremiah 25:5 Praise be to the Holy Spirit for
letting us dwell in His will so we can enjoy His:
Scripture-sovereignty against suspicions’ stubbornness
Supplication-sustenance against sufferings’ sorrows
Sanctuary-stability against socialization’s status quo
Spirituality-safeguard against stagnation’s shame
Standard-settlement against scorning’s shyness. Amen!

Scrumptious sight of prairies and grass
Ardent beaming of flower buds and buzzing bees
Leafless coils, branches of trees become alive
Hastening! Arousing everyone's joy and vive
             Everyone happy on cheerful springtime!

A cotillion trips and chirps of jolly birds
From some distance, I have started to heard
Fantastic shun and kisses of pretty butterflies
Tempting all species of flora and fauna to thrive
Welcoming, beckoning the heat of summertime!

First crisp of breeze, creating dew in morning
Canopy of red and orange leaves from branches, enchanting!
Turning the world into a canvass of nature's brush
Unnoticeable, such romantic dash making anyone blush
Revel, embrace the sweet amorous season of autumn!

                 Solid chilling raindrops of snowflakes
                Giving warning: careful during breaks
Covering branches, bringing icy cold aches
Yet, skiing an exhilarating cool escape
Delight in the coolness ambiance of winter!

Hastening t'ward the grayscale skies,
On gilded wings an angel flies.
 While demons wail of their despise;
Hiss and moan, their sole reprise.
A lightning flash; the angel sighs
A rush of wind, and then she dies.

 Oh, how the heavens agonize
 And thunderously vocalize.
While in the mayhem devils rise
 With beating drums to signalize
 Their ill intent to terrorize
The broken hearts and reddened eyes
Whose cherub tears the Earth baptize.

 But demon laughter amplifies
The vengeful thirst across the skies
 And solemn, anguished seraph cries
 The host of heaven unifies.
 With swords aloft they mobilize
Their concourse as a vast sunrise
Whose flaming swords the clouds incise
 And radiant light Earth pacifies.

 Yet mankind fails to realize
Except the prudent and the wise
The storm is naught but a disguise,
Oh do you hear the old Magi’s
 Verse for men which edifies?
 Or listen to him rhapsodize
How from the light, the darkness flies
And from the rain, the sunlight dries?

 Perhaps…he oversimplifies.

Courtesy end when life ends

She made me of fun
I would have gouged her eye
To serve on her my turn
But doubt it won't break the aspiring tie
Though I thought she was but in fear
Of her doubt in words ladies hear
Yet, my response will never thought to be made
To one who stands not for others in the world
And this tongue of flame could have ceased to flicker
The true nature of my charming heart desire
But since, up from the ages past
No one has ever yet
Withstand the grief of regret
Turned encouraging unless had tried out his best
If what I know is true
Being cajoled will never break my flue
For at my back, I always hear
Age's pennate cart hastening near...

Ah Nothing Spells Spring Like Snow

seems like ole man winter
     aint finished doing business
whereat get dem self up
     in fine fetters and cuss
madly jabbing, gesticulating,
     and damning e pluribus
conveniently, deliberately,
     and selectively forgetting unum
until...cupboards bare wren, emergency food stash

     mice eaten, and refrigerator empty
and there you stand with a growling tum
hmm...perhaps hastening to the wine cellar
scrambling for a jug of rum
which ample downing might be
     a panacea to hibernate,
     and deeply slum
burr until dawg days of summer,
when fruit trees bursting,
     and being alive feels plum
ripe with nary a worry in the world,
     oh...mebbe best to telephone mum

(real name Chrys Anthem),
     and share cornucopia
as life for thee goes hum
ming along swimmingly
and haint nuttin tuff heal glum
about, now take another sip
     and breathe in from
smorgasbord mother nature didst spread

     vibrant flora and fauna
     sights and sounds rhythmically,
     poetically, and hypnotically drum,
where the prevailing mood
finds one markedly chum
me scales fall from ones's eyes,
a former bummed out skool of hard knocks alum,

now just kick back and become seduced
while listening to chic chick hens roost
scampering, grunting,
     and buzzing capers moost
pleasant since renaissance
     of spring finally loosed.
