with crimson-tinged golden-fringed excitement,
let's rendezvous with an enthralling rhapsody anew!!
paths are strewn with puce,
tangerine, cerise, orange leaves...
swirling, twirling, whirling intoxicated under the sapphire sky -
luring us gambol in a fairyland of colours!
fall’s magical show!
sheer beauty of red and gold leaves swooshing about ~
watch the clouds dizzily dreamy in a champagne light,
watch with nostalgic wistfulness canada geese returning -
a graceful fascinating formation in the sky!
butterflies seductively kissing
bewitching flowers under a luminous sun,
watch robin enticingly singing
luscious summer’s farewell song !
a decoupage of kaleidoscopic hues -
red, golden, amber leaves waltzing down ~
triumphant summer leaves letting
mysterious autumn dazzle the world !

Immanent yet transcendent Contest Sponsored by: Unseeking Seeker
God is both fully transcendent and utterly immanent – extensively beyond us but genuinely with us. By Poet.

In a realm where lucid dreams spring alive.
Where the whispers to the cosmos derive
There lingers a dance—divine and bright.
Of immanent and transcendent eternal flight.
One's essence is intrinsic, or immanent.
It starts with every breath—cease is imminent.
No vitality can be razed, hence being infinite.
Every grass blade or hazard tear is then intimate.
Transcendent, preposterous afar and wide,
Beyond the circumscription of earthly stride,
Soaring through the cosmos, stars in its wake,
A cosmic symphony, a celestial shake
In this sempiternal dance, they entwine,
Immanent and transcendent, a union divine,
Akin to yin and yang, they equipoise and sway.
Prevailing us on our journey, day after day.
A soft breeze carries the imminent susurration of life.
We're fiddling with our souls and frisking our strife.
children's squealing in an accomplice's embrace.
Immanent imbues us with beauty, love, and grace.
Transcendent calls in the depths of a scarlet sky,
Heaving us hovering to the heavens up high,
In the grandeur of nature, in a sunrise hue,
Transcendent shows us there's plenteous anew.
Immanent and transcendent, a cosmic pair,
In the prance of life, are everlastingly there,
In the depths of our animus, they reside.
Wielding us in a woebegone, wondrous ride
Immanent, the divine within our reach,
Transcendent, the infinite beyond our speech,
Together, they weave the tapestry of existence.
In their dance, we find purpose and significance.
immanent and transcendent, a harmonious blend,
In each moment of their presence, we apprehend,
They remind us that we are a crux of kernel grand.
A universal symphony, a seraphic chaste band
So prance with immanent and transcendent,
Embrace the blithe and beguilement; be besant.
On the wisdom they offer, the love they bestow,
In their gyre and gambol, our souls shall grow.
"Time flies over us, but leaves its shadow behind."
Nathaniel Hawthorne
I sneer at grandfather clock, standing in the hall,
listening as his ticking, leaves my anger spent.
I long to bind his hands and make time crawl,
and if that's considered a sin, I will never repent.
His old brass pendulum swings much too fast,
like a gossip, repeatedly wagging his tongue.
Oh, how I would love to make him gong his last
so I'd have eternal peace when his bell is wrung.
His infinite chime persists at the top of each hour
and in that moment I feel recurring pain.
I must get past the relentless echo of his power.
Headaches from his hammering drive me insane!
Not in the present, but I swear that one day soon
I'll find a way to remove his pulley and chains.
No longer will he gambol that annoying tune,
a cadenced rhythm in redundant refrain.

A robin red am I and free to roam
because I relish flirting with the breeze.
So gleefully I glide among the trees
until I’ve had my fill and head back home.
A bumble bee am I and free to roam
collecting nectar on a sunny day
from many lovely flowers on my way
until I’ve had my fill and head back home.
A baby foal am I and free to roam.
I gambol happily in pastures green
or where some willows near a brooklet lean
until I’ve had my fill and head back home.
A butterfly am I and free to roam,
My pretty wings spread color through the sky.
Meandering so happily am I
until I’ve had my fill and head back home.

Moonbeams kindle ambrosian dreams
Love evolves on auric gleams
A gem in space, a costly pearl, a Luna
Fetching felicitous feelings, a fervid fawn
In this wassail ethereal area, hearts soar
I was awestruck by the lambent moon
Glittering gems, gilded in dull dust
Vanity surpasses a chimeric spell
A cromulent devotee, in awe
Emerald aureola, blazing high star
Heavenly memoir amphorae
Sew love from words in utter gaze.
Toed moon syntax tonight
In our bucolic spot, love will thrive
We are those who wield abilities of orbs
Sparse straps, splitting stripes
Love outshines crimson swirls
Sapphire adorns translucent tulips
Sturgeon Roe names cast in crystal
Sipping strawberries spoils serene seas
My love infused a porcelain spirit
Sketch my comely soul
Let me breathe your raspy hiccups
Believe me—beyond oblivion
Your Zinnia blooms gambol my heart
Gorgeous, lost in a well-woven nimbus
Fugacious felicity and fluff on fiery flowers
Rising flames, faint shooting, conflict.
Outside orbs offer otherworldly orbits
Deciphering diaphanous riddles
Could night cherubs grasp our grace?
Classic clear cloud cores
A balmy silk breeze hides enigmas
Covered below perseid colors
Your dulcet eyes sparkled dimly
Rose-tuned praise of cyan candidness
Via velvety vintage valleys, vivid verse vests
Beleaguer back the fire of our waltz
The moonlight lifts our mellifluous breath
Dreams soar in tangerine skies.
Can you envision us lost in a world
of ours; paradise built by the Gods
just for us two? Would you taste with me
a delectable slice of heaven?
Picture us astride upon satyrs...
exploring a mythical, enchanted land, drifting
our way across it like dandelion seeds.
Perchance we'd gambol about the verdure
with carefree abandon, tasting freedom
with salivating tongues as we shout "Olé!"
Perchance we'd take flight with the faeries
and hum a tune from nightingales, or just lie
in delightful tranquility beneath a weeping willow,
swept off by a soothing breeze. Or we could just
quietly bask in the bright midday sun!
Can you imagine passionate kisses
under a cascading waterfall with a rainbow
hovering right above it? Can you imagine us
lying on a swinging hammock gazing at
diamonds littered in skies of blackboard?
Can you imagine these embarrassment
of riches? Let's take this great adventure!
Let us discover the true meaning of bliss!
Baby, close your eyes
and meet me...
in Avalon!

Before golden opportunity
(goes no argh hue mint
the way of Long John Silver)
doth fade and dwindle
not necessarily cuz the missus
did (NOT) bribe and swindle
an ambition (for nor rhyme nor reason)
arose to kindle...
Affectionate communication
employing (figurative) gambol
probably testing your patience
to decrypt me trademark ramble
essential crux of matter after
ye prune thorny verbiage,
metaphorical berry good bramble.
Methinks yar psyche slid into funk
cuz usual upbeat gregarious disposition
of late (June 26th, 2020)
analogous to reclusive monk
whose nonverbal body language
shrieks "LEAVE ME THE ƒµ©* ALONE"
lest recipient (in this case yours truly)
receives judicious suckerpunch
finding him landing - ouch
on his buttucks - kerplunk!
Nevertheless as one
mister misanthrope to another
who could pretend cavorting
as asinine make bull heave brother,
(or undergoing extreme makeover,
and stretching imagination voila
one garden variety generic beastie boy
rendered into... yup, your grandmother.
Hoop fully no unpleasant memory
doth suddenly unfold
linkedin to said very old
boot (moost likely)
long deceased family member
turned to dust commingled with auld
Lang syne amidst weathered tombstones,
markedly intact skeletons absent
any flesh o'the rear
some etched with hands folded in prayer
mausoleum enshrining even in death near
(think grim reaper kingly leer)
still provoking jeer
profligate (yet prolific) paperback writer heir
housing generations ghostly forebear
comprising your family tree, once... dear
father, mother, sister, brother, et cetera
who profusely guzzled beer.
No intent to induce fury if playful banter
loosed psychological trip wire
merely harmless ambition to deliver mirth
lobs strike out as decided
by just now summoned umpire
on the ball punning away without tire
greatly flattered if literary antics inspire
ye to pen memoirs,
which become New York Times
bestseller, thus countless clamoring demands
to serve as ghostwriter hire
prompt ye with fame and fortune
before thee doth exhale last breath and expire
when moments prior,
I while impersonating a squire
wished ye a cheery bon voyage.
Ambient August night
Stars dotted skies
Moon light cast no shadows
Thoughts perfectly aligned.
The trees are dazzled
In peaceful resonance they dance
To the mesmerised wind songs
Mind finally at self peace.
Gentle breeze surrounds
All around the kids gambol
Fireflies light up the skies
Soul sojourned in a village square.
Lightening precedes the thunder
Hues upon hues mingled in echoes
Divine lights in cosmic arrays
All captured onto portable display screens.
Mosquitoes and bugs in the dark
Body partially covered in cotton cloths
Seated on a stool by the fire side
Listening to tales from granny.
History foretold in native tongues
vivid images of antiquity painted with words
by the fire side everything comes alive
Hazy moon ,sweet dew ,Africa is home.
I'm as free as the wind as I sway in the saddle!
I love life! There's no clutter, nothing to addle!
I give my faithful horse Wild Lightning free rein,
As we meander across God's magnificent terrain!
My pal Spooks trots ahead surveying sagebrush and crags.
I sense that he enjoys life too by the tail he wags!
I crave no roof - the wide-open range is my home.
Territorial bounds don't confine me - freely I roam!
Well-worn saddlebags contain my earthly possessions.
I don't aspire riches nor am I burdened by obsessions.
My soul abounds with wealth as I view His Creation!
Ah! The grandeur of it all! 'Tis ample compensation!
I pause on a knoll viewing the vast panorama and ponder,
The river, a lake, those snow-capped mountains o'er yonder!
In the valley a herd of pronghorn antelope gambol and play.
At dusk The Master Artist paints a majestic sunset display!
Campfire embers slowly die - Wild Lightning grazes nearby.
Spooks lies at my feet - snug in my blanket I gaze at the sky.
I anticipate being awakened by a glorious sunrise next morn,
When Wild Lightning, Spooks and I continue our vagabond bourne!
