Time
My hair caressed by the fervent musical breeze,
atop the cliff of innocence my fingers freeze,
I look down in ravines of whirling waves and wait,
the moment of euphoria clings to a concealed fate.
The anxious clock seems to drag hollow slumbers,
I've been fretting over those ticking numbers,
a distant lullaby from memories uncurls my hopes,
it blankets me emerging from mist in layered slopes.
I've taken the plunge into oceans of warm dreams,
infinite frames scintillating topaz blue beams,
an eternal stream engulfs my soul in emerald light,
my past merging into celestial rivers glowing in white.
I float in beautiful streams to find a tranquil shore,
a strand charms me to unlock a secret ruby door.
Oh! I am present in loops of time in that mystic world,
my childhood and motherhood soar, their wings unfurled.
