When Adam First Saw Eve

"When Adam First Saw Eve"

All alone in a Garden of Beauty
Adam thought, "WOW!!!.....
this is all mine!
I can hang out,
take naps,
do whatever I want to-
MAN!!!.....
I'll do this ALL the time!"

Without...the slightest care,
in this,
his new world,
see......
he didn't even know
that he had a heart
"MAN!!!....
I feel like the
"KING OF EVERYTHING!
From my Eden.....
I WILL
NEVER PART!"

One afternoon,
after hanging out
all morning,
he felt a yawn
coming on!
He thought.....
"I'll lie down and take a short nap
then get up
and do my hanging out
'til dawn!"

See.....
Adam didn't have
the slightest clue
of what was in store
for him!
He was about to get
the "SHOCK"
of his life,
for a change in his world
he was.....on the brim!!!

When he awoke and
he opened his eyes
he noticed all the creatures
were standing still!
Something had
their undivided attention-
"Let me go take a look-
Yeah....that I will!"

LO....and BEHOLD,
to his surprise,
what he saw
knocked him three steps back!!!
His jaw dropped to the ground
as he shouted
out loud.....
"WHOA!!!.....
WHO IN THE FREAK
IS THAT!!!"

His heart started to pound
"SO FAST".....
that he grabbed his chest
with both hands!!!
Sounds started coming
out of his mouth.....
"WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME???-
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!!"

This new "MS. WHATEVER"
turned and looked at him,
upon her face came a lovely smile!
Adam jumped straight up
in the air....he jumped up
in the air a good mile!!!

When he came down
he looked around and saw-
there was no other one
like SHE!!!
He said.....
"I am the luckiest
MAN of all time!!!-
WHOA!!!.....
I think
SHE LIKES ME!!!

He started babbling.....
he even tried to sing a song!
How much more
"HAPPY"
could he be???
He looked up
and kept saying
repeatedly,
to the sky.....
"THANK YOU GOD,
for giving
HER
to me!!!"

He kept saying this
over and over again
for he couldn't
take his eyes off of her!
He said.....
"WHOA!!!-man".....
"WHOA!!!-man".....
"WHOA!!!-man".....
"WHOA!!!---
MAN!!!
What a beautiful
"WHOA!!!-MAN"
is SHE!!!

Now.....
that moment
"WHEN ADAM FIRST SAW EVE"
completely changed
the entire atmosphere!
The rest we do know,
so this is a good spot
to end this poem.....
right here!

The E R I C

"The E.R.I.C."
by: Eric L. Boddie

To each of you who feels you have failed to evolve
Because you are constantly running into various barriers
Sit back, relax, and let me tell you the story
Of the eight realistically inspiring characters

The first was a son to God and his mother
As Seen Through The Eyes Of The Word and not any other
Because he Learned That Love Is Stronger than what words can even utter
Because Love Is So Much Of An Action, there is no distance it can not cover

The second was a brother to his siblings and all humanity
Blessed With Many Gifts, but never known for vanity
Because he felt any fear outside of God only led to insanity
So every situation that arose, he handled so candidly

The third was a man, standing both, strong and proud
Humble to all men but Only To God had he bowed
Always soft spoken but forever searching for that loud
Forever content with self-reliance, no dependence on the crowd

The fourth was a friend, extended with helping hand
Forever faithful and true, never using that betraying brand
Knowing that friendships must be grown, they can't be bought in the can
Because instead of desiring to down-grade, he wanted to understand

The fifth was the freak, known to all and one
The inspiration of desire, the innovator of monogamous fun
One Eve at a time, that's how he got it done
Because the motto was for her to only leak at the grasp of his gun

The sixth was a nerd, but cool in all other ways
Serving as a lifetime member in how her hip sways
But something about knowledge always left him amazed
And for that reason, attention is what he always pays

The seventh was a soldier, always Fighting For Christ
Which did he Love more, God or his Life
Because the things that he did show that he paid his price
In Respect For The One Who Made The Greatest Sacrifice

And the eighth was the one who would let neither give up his fight
Telling each he is not wrong until they PROVE they're right
Because To Live Under The Star That Brings Bright Morning Light
Can only bring Hope, and there is no better sight

Each was greatly strong, each was greatly misunderstood
Rarely could either be challenged, but far too often, each was abused
In ways too great for a simply common mind to ponder
Causing the E.R.I.C. more Prayers, A Power that can never be overused

Premium Member Revenge Is Not Always Sweet

People in my school have names for someone like me.
Freak, crazy, weirdo, a spawn by the devil's decree.
I took note of every malicious word they ever spoke,
knowing that before long they'd no longer make me a joke.

None of them knew how truthful were their mocking words.
They had no clue I could spread my wings to fly among the birds,
with ravens that caw out for blood at the stroke of each midnight.
I'd fill their haunting dreams with images of daunting fright.

A snip of dried herbs, a pinch of fungal root, boiled in fat of fowl,
a concoction for me to savor, secreted to me by my mother, an owl.
Eyes that see through bloodshot color, they would see them too
when the full moon was high and the sky turned dark cobalt blue.

No help will they receive from a scream or gyrations to be free.
They soon will know they should never have made a mockery of me.
The time is near, my brew is cooled, now it's my time to have fun.
Tonight their dreams will be nightmares, a gift from the evil one.

With their eyes closed, they will envision they are being chased
by hundreds of bloodshot eyes, the likes of which they've never faced.
Black robes adorned, scepter of wormwood waved from my hand.
Eyes... wild bloodshot eyes, will seek vengeance at my command.

Fog advances to the bedrooms of those who sleep in peace.
My adrenaline is pumping, just a few more minutes until release.
A snarl of satisfaction I feel curled upon my blood red lips.
You won't belittle me again with your taunting nocuous quips.

NOW! I gave the order for the eyes to creep into their dreams
But my heart is beating too fast. This was not part of my schemes.
I can't see a bloody thing. What's happened to the spell I cast?
How long will this blindness torture me? How long must it last?

A truant officer was sent to see what had become of the freak.
Through a window he saw many ravens, all with bloodied beak.
No body was discovered. All that remained was a robe of black
and a note scratched upon the floor. "Too late to take it back."

Is Ashwin the Indian Don of Spin

Where do you begin with Ravichandran Ashwin...intellectual impresario

Red ball romeo... conceptual maestro..the Kingpin of spin..leather lothario

Perpetual taunting...teasing..bubbling cerebral cauldron formenting..haunting

Troubling.. flaunting...tormenting..vaunting..fermenting..pleasing

Luminosity...but another one of the band of badger brothers

Reeks of unique chic tweak at its peak

Bare faced cheek of genius geek cavorting

Discerning pastor preaching while yearning for learning

More about turning…..curiosity pique...sleek sporting freak

Mythical master of disaster..have many if any been reaching 500 wickets faster

Viral spirals about this sage despite his age still taking centre stage

Batters like budgies trapped in a gilded cage

As though he had planned to grandstand the Ravinchand bandstand brand...stealing the back page

Revolution masquerading as evolution...cogitating...searching for a solution

Ruminating..problems to fix with his swag bag of tricks..spinning absolution

Precision physician with constant revision...each edition

A new rendition.. high jinks with winks.. and nods to tradition

Wondering...that furrowed brow..pondering how

Career of seams caressed with finger finesse ... architect..engineer without peer…

Can't debunk the magic funk…just respect from a Test tragic monk

Scientist enthrall..sorcerer gall...still one of us...the best of us all.

So hold your head high Ravichandran..still don't know why you were so often the fall guy

Fans vicarious view..our meme..you part of our team...daring to dream..your art of derring do

Iconic booty of noble probes…lush lullabies...strobes lapping global lobes

Sagacious..loquacious oratory...the tonic...fruity frolic

Fresh from laboratory duty..bodacious bucolic beauty

Even naysayers can't deny they relish that conjuring charm from your cherished right arm.

Let's zoom to the elephant in the room...is Ashwin the don of Indian spin

With the skill and will to top the bill and still pip Anil?

Kumble also a defiant giant on whom they were so reliant

Hot to trot just not as savvy as Ravi

The Don's got the lot..takes number one spot

Wealth of stealth...doyen among men..but never ever about himself

He loves cricket just for the cricket itself..zen then..

What Else You Ask My Love

As those two met
Overwhelmed with happiness he was, he says Is there anything you ask my love?
She demanded for a gigantic bowl with glittering stars
With Big Bang was created this universe ,bright enough to mAke their life's darkness worn away
Stars ,symbol of their love out shining others
Thinking pleased she will be , he asks what else my love?
Pleased but says there isn't any place to live on,just hot shiny stars
With courage he broke those symbols to create a world
Vast enough to hold those love birds together to live on
Thinking satisfied she will be,he asks what else my love?
Satisfied but this world is such a drought ,there is nothing here
He brought tress into existence though those roots ripped their earth
Thinking Contended she would be ,he asks what else my love?
Contended she is ,but there isn't any proper place to confine ourselves for our love she says
He cut down those tress to built her a place called home
Then he asks what else my love?
She says I've got everything that I desired
Now wish for my true valentine
Like a epitome in fantasies I wanna loved
His hopes were shattered in flash
Heartbroken he was but yet ......
How you wanna him be
Like her dream memories she says
As she flew on those wings of imagination
Whose eyes are gazing enough to mesmerize me
Hands strong enough to protect me
Who rules this world, with his almighty power
Heart warm enough to melt my all coldness down
A freak he was, couldn't understand what she said
He took on the eyes snow owl
Thinking she will be mesmerized forever
Nd those with hands of gorilla
With enormous strength to protect her
Burning his heart to an extent when he saw glaciers melting with heat
Then on the on the brisk of his dooms day
He watched her secretly ,seeing her smile he got his very world
He knew his soul is leaving his heart
But better he knew
that he can cling on that smile
And thus went away
She went outside when he was nowhere to be found
There he was..
Lying infront of her with all those she ever asked for
His body was rotting and dying
Her trickling tears reminded his love
For she knew then, she pained him to hell
Her grief goes on increasing with despair
And she keeps on sinking in gloom
As those words keep on playing
What else you ask my love
What else you ask my love

Insulting Rhymes 4

You got hit with a earthquake
Not once but twice
Because of your ugly hearts
But yet y'all still violating
How much more shame do you need
For you to get it.

Father dare
I'm a grown woman of 44. You don't run my life I do.
You couldn't even be a proper father doing my youth.
You not a god but a loose clues.
You got your citizens ship. Now you assume you're a American.
But don't forget it comes with a expiration date. You still a piece of sht. Just like back then.

Sister dare
My son doesn't need no advice from you
You can't even be a mother to your own daughter. Like your whre Best friend.
My son already have a mother to be his guide. And that's me.
So instead of packing up tattoos on your body like a freak.
Why don't you used that money and pay up your child support to the baby father instead.
stop minding your business out of my life and son.
And keep in mind she's not my daughter. I could give 2fck about her(Ariel).

My son father
You think you good at cheating.
I know all your dirty secret.
That's why I turned you into Pinocchio that defines you.
You're a manipulator and a liar.
Keep in mind action and evidence speak louder than words of your lies.
I don't miss you, my son feel the same as well.
I didn't forget the huge scar you did a cross my son face when he was 3.
You claim he fell we both know it's a lie. For your a constant liar.
Keep in mind how sensitive I am when it comes to him.
For I'm like the apocalypse. I will scar you whole world. And that's how I get even.

Mother dare
Don't think I forget about you
Just because I get along with you doesn't mean I forgive you
I appreciate you confess your sin that my brother peter disability was attentionally done by you before his death.
You go around giving birth to children to take advantage of them and abandoned them like a true whre.
One of your daughters got molested instead of comfort. You abandoned her for the men who molested her.
Sherley and Rashida no longer live with you no more, for you're still a terrible mother.
I can see through you like a book and your secret attention towards us.
You no different from my father . Two pieces a sht that deserved each other.
I know at 16 I wanted to know who you where. I don't regret it.
Cause at least I know you are one of my father whres.

Legend of the Black Dove - Part 10a

Legend Of The Black Dove
(Part 10) "The Unknown World "

After leaving Monterey by ship, the Columbia encounters a strange storm
accompanied by a heavy mist that creates a voyage through time to another
place. The captain discovers they are in Dover harbour but everything
seems different, Norrington, Jenkins, Captain Owens, and first officer Hill
investigate the huge ship named 'Albatross', which is moored in the port.
The huge ship's bridge is full of weird levers and instrumentation, Owens
notices a placard on the ship's wheel stating ''The Albatross built at Newcastle
in 1929", also a calendar dated 1930, and it all starts to make sense, including
the weird mist that transported them through time from 1750 to the year 1930.
Captain Owens realises that the freak storm may possibly return and if they were
lucky enough it may take them back to their normal timeline. He suggests
they should all return to the Columbia. They are about to leave when the watch
crew comes back. They are heavily armed with rifles and a machine gun. The
Captain of the Albatross tells them: "Halt! Hands up!" and their men search
them for concealed weapons. They are later taken on deck. While the two
captain's hold a discussion Owens tells Captain Ryder that they are here by accident
not design as a strange wind brought them from 1750 to 1930. He could not
understand why this happened but they seem now stranded here. The only
chance of returning is to try to reconnect with the wind taking us back to our
own time, and things will once again be normal. While they are talking they
see in the distance that the storm is returning, and Ryder agrees to help them
but they need to be quick, as the storm is approaching the Columbia very fast.
Ryder tells his crew to release the men and start the ship's engines. Within a
few minutes the Albatross reaches the Columbia. The storm is now upon them.
As Captain Owens man's the ship's wheel, they set sail towards the storm whereas
the Albatross flees the scene. Seconds later the Columbia is engulfed in fog. It is
happening again, the speed becomes faster and faster, the ship begins to shake
and buffet, and then starts to slow down again.

Country Sunshine Glow

(Verse 1) Yo, lemme paint a picture, country sunset glowin' Down a dusty backroad, where the crickets keep on goin' Radio hummin' low, some D'Angelo smooth and right Got that "Untitled" playing, bathed in the porch light Thinkin' 'bout a shawty, yeah, she got that certain sway Like a sweet Southern melody, at the close of the day She could "have it her way," that's a fact I understand And if she wanted to decide, I'd be right there, lending a hand. Said if you get a feelin', that familiar, deep inside The one that makes you wanna move, nowhere left to hide Won't you come closer to me? Let the rhythm take control Like a soulful country ballad, reachin' for your soul.

(Verse 2) Reminds me of that Silk joint, the way she walks, it's true Got that "Freak Me, baby" energy, shining right through. Not talkin' 'bout no recklessness, but a confident allure Like a firefly in darkness, somethin' you can't ignore. Let me talk to you softly, 'bout intentions pure and deep More than just a fleeting moment, promises I wanna keep. Remember Brandy on the speakers, "Top of the World" we vibe That feelin' when you connect, like nothin' can divide. Used to dream of gettin' there, same ambition in my stride Now I'm lookin' at her beauty, got nowhere left to hide. From Helly Hansen dreams to buildin' somethin' real and strong This ain't 'bout mini mansions, where we truly belong.

(Verse 3) Now that 3T joint hits different, "I would do anything for you" That raw, unadulterated truth, shinin' fresh and new. Sittin' here tonight, thinkin' 'bout her gentle touch Wish she was here beside me, wouldn't ask for nothin' much. Just her presence, her laughter, the way she looks my way Takes me back to simpler times, at the end of the day. Like Anthony Hamilton croonin', 'bout the love that feels so right "Cornbread, Fish & Collard Greens," under the moonlight. Knew just what I had to be, when I saw her in that light Like an appetite awakened, burnin' ever so bright. To every dude in sight, she stands out, a queen for real This ain't no competition, this is truly how I feel. By then, I just gotta step up, and let my feelings bloom This ain't just some casual fling, escapin' from a lonely room. This is somethin' deeper, a connection hard to find A soulful country R&B blend, etched upon my mind.

Premium Member Cockroaches of the Universe

There were elephants and bees... wild salmon, slugs, and trees
The Lord had blessed with Mother Nature as their nurse.
Along with flowers, birds and bats... jelly fish and tiger cats
To make this planet more ominifarious and diverse.

The Lord had algorithms to equate and ecosystems to create
All done at quite the hectic pace.
But all ruined when he stumbled and spectacularly fumbled
When against his better judgement... he made the Human race.

The Lord's embarrassment was such... he didn't visit much
But was later compelled to take a peek... he saw
The weather getting warmer with a MacDonald's on every corner...
It was enough to make a Deity want to freak.

The place in need of some repair... with pollution everywhere
With the forests and meadows now in deep decline.
But the thing that got his goat and really rocked his boat...
There was a Starbucks in the Church of the Divine.

The Lord in some revulsion considered our expulsion
But brought forth Salvation to improve our cosmic brand.
However... we compounded his frustration by flirting with damnation
Embracing vile habits sure to force his hand.

The Lord unleashed pandemics and eruptions.. epidemics and disruptions
As the Human Race in all its glory remained perverse.
But nothing seemed to work... against our oddities and quirks
Making us the cockroaches of the known Universe.

The Lord bent on elimination of our unseemly infestation
Pondered many years before he gave a shout.
The solution right before his eyes... prepared to say goodbye
As Monkey Pox was sure to wipe us out.
Yes... Monkey Pox was sure to wipe us out.

Now to those who doubt the Lord his gender as a Male
Should not prevail and give their head a twist.
For it the Lord was something other... or something quite another...
There'd be more flowers and the Human race would not exist.

A Moment In Time Pt.3

Disrespectful in so many ways, times where I almost wished that they knew, so I could
prove that I was just that good. Some guy friends I would let know and we would laugh,
talking that mess, but still on guard, cause my back I felt like they would stab. “Why”,
it was probably their girl I nabbed, old nasty, low down brother, facial glare just like a
glass. Transparent to the naked eye, being so clever, being so sly, corruption of the
easiest minds, almost like leaves blowing in a trail of wind that was flowing like a vine.
All connected in some way, if they all stopped and talked I probably would of been caught,
but man at that time it was a lot of fun at least I thought. Which ends the second stage
of being misguiding.
So destructive in my mentality, using and abusing everything I could get my hands on,
from the bottom of the jar, to the top of the jar. Most nights, were blurred vision,
slurred speech, new freaks, old freaks, dumb freaks, smart freaks, maybe caught an
occasional geek freak. Selfish, overpowering, but not in the sense of taking, persuasive,
so convincing, “hell“, sometimes I believed it myself. A fresh cut mold for everyone,
liven life just having fun, unknown to anyone. Then comes along someone that knows,
immediately throwing salt in the game and letting everyone know. Backtracking and
fabricating, seeming like the easiest why out, I was open like a book, that couldn’t be
closed, extremely exposed by the lies I had told. Defensive in nature is what I turned to,
quick to blame, but sure to lose but what an opportunity for them to prove what I had
really been up to. Naturally proud and confident in swag, I tried to stand strong, but
other players stood and laughed, cause they knew I was about to crash. And crash I did,
as hard as I could fall, face first, just like belly flopping in a pool, when your not in
control, I’ve been pushed. Starting to question myself, “Am I being true”, probably not to
myself or anyone else. I’ve been crumbling inside, far from being right, I might need a
moment in time to collect my thoughts. Convinced this is the end of my misguided thoughts
and the selfish ways, in which I used to walk and talk. Just the end of another bad chapter.
