The sparkling dawn lights up my heart’s horizon,
spreads the sunburst colors with the lattice of longing
on the fervent garden blooming with my love,
swathing the facsimile of your florid face.

The patina of rose flushes your fervent facade,
glittering with the grandeur of charismatic petals.
Rhapsodic wind blows in the meadow of my heart,
as you become mine, I float in the divine air of euphoria.

In the valley of my mind contoured by fondness,
I carve the channel of love to reach you.
The fervid cloud of craving melts in a torrent,
makes my lilting love a cascading river where I swim.

Flowing with the current of your charming allure,
my emotions soar high to your moonlit sky,
where my love weaves the enticing trellis of stars,
draping my heart with enchanting tinsels I treasure.

When I feel empty and lonely in the dark wasteland
your alluring footprints in the wilderness I trace.
You raise for me the scarlet sun of boundless bliss,
my heart shines like the golden cloud in heavenly sky.

In midsummer mystique night I take you
through the moondust mist to the dulcet sea shore.
I tune my heart with the rhythm of sapphire waves,
as I place on your arms a bouquet of belonging and me.

With the melody of the whistling flute of zephyr,
and the mesmeric music of the rolling waves,
I compose the music of love for you with my yearning
that resonates the symphony dreams in my heaven.

Premium Member Oasis

Impressed upon those desert dunes
that stretch back o'er the years,
my lonely prints hear fading tunes
as sand seals wind-swept fears.

A fervid gust comes whisking past,
disrupting settled pains.
Warmth enwraps my heart at last,
emitting torrid rains.

No fair mirage could conjure this
I taste from deepest springs.
No cactus thorn could pierce this bliss
that hearts at risk can bring.

This arid wasteland starts to thrive
as streams of ardor flow.
No dreams of grace must I contrive
for blooms of love now grow.

A splendor-realm from 'twining roots
has breadth beyond this land
where passion's sky-borne geyser shoots
erupt from burning sand.

A beautiful oasis shines
where barren ground once laid.
A set of footprints now defines
the melody that’s played.

Premium Member Magnificent Blue Ocean

A spirited traveler, how curiously you roam, flexing your freedom,
Visiting places serene, from Atlantic to Pacific, Artic to Antarctic,
Hugging every exotic continent, kissing territories in between;
Exploring from shore to shore; thrashing, splashing, your rhythms.

Hosting sunsets of amber evenings and sunrises of purple dawns
Fondly you reflect ruby rays, charming avid glances of romance,
Illuminating in sun’s golden dust a fusion made of fervid dreams,
And designs of your vision artistic, sprinkled on motifs esoteric.

Custodian of precious resources, a treasurer of beauteous coral reefs,
A liaison for shipping goods, trading foods, marine mineral mining;
You are a daring warrior too, flaunting bravely your armored ships,
An environmentalist as well, facilitating harvesting of wind energy.

You are so charismatic, when leisurely you propel passenger ships,
Journeying to towns historic, luxuriating on heavenly beaches;
Yet, when your mood is perturbed, you are a monster, angry beast,
Stomping ferociously, storming destructively, churning latent heat.

Harmonious with the mystique of moon, mythical cosmic bodies,
Coast-to-coast you soar, alluring aspirations of dreams romantic,
As boundlessly you undulate, navigating zestful tides of passion;
Awe of admiration, you are the eternal, magnificent blue ocean.

Premium Member In Your Embrace

In embrace of your love, blossoms my eager night,
Strumming themes romantic fervid passions recite

Invoked by scarlet-eventide glinting arc of twilight
As final breaths of dimming-day golden rays ignite

Signaling to emotive vibes twinkling on starry skies
Now’s the time for constellations to bedazzle eyes

In magenta, red nebulae buoying upon stellar seas
Navigating tides of joy as smiles of Venus appease

When enamored we stroll lauding exuberance of glee
Bequeathed by dreams, mystiques of desires spree,

In missives of forever-love verses of hearts decree
Responding to overtures, aspirations intimate plea,

Giving voice to latent hints echoing proffers of soul
Vying reveries esoteric sensuous heartbeats cajole

Prodding us to waltz, to rhythms of nocturnal tune,
Attuning beats of hearts beneath love-struck moon.

Held My Hands (My Secret Sin)

Ease your thoughts
For I am at fault
You stood alone
Well I left home
In my most troubling steps
I sensed your worry, your passion your grace
As only your soft touch could warm my face
My only comfort was in your arms, a peaceful place
Is the only sanctuary where time won't mourn
And trust won't turn
A sacrifice at your expense
Left us both in suspence
But it was your heart I had to convince
Would you have held my hand
I ask would you have my hand
Shadows sing
As the weak trade bread and water for anything
The only place you felt feign
Was the only place where your trust remains
Nothing so cold as your shoulder shrugs
Nothing told that you cared as your fervid hugs
I'd say I loved you in vain
But it would only sober up my pain
Burning leaves
The stress that lonliness guareentees
I only ask would you have held my hand
With me being so stubborn and arrogant
Would you still stand and hold my hand
Would you have shaped me into a better man
Walked through conflict and still gripped my hand

Premium Member Take Wing, My Heart

Fervid thoughts fill my heart as I sleep.
It overflows with emotions tonight
for a secret love I've kept fathoms deep,
avowed only in the Sonnets I write.

In poetry we share the flames of desire
and his arms tremble with the need of me.
Passion kindled 'til there's a blazing fire.
My whispers are sighs in an urgent plea.

I've pages of rhymes about love's yearning,
and dancing with him 'neath a pale gold moon.
I imagine his touch leaves me burning
to free my love from its confined cocoon.

Take wing, my heart and fly without delay
The secret long kept; I must now convey.

Premium Member Follow Me

Follow me, my dear, to mythical shores of hypnotic dream,
Sail on my fantasies, driving passions of your zealous theme,
Afloat on tides of longing, musing on love’s passionate seas,
Vying paradise of bliss, propelling desires love-notions seize,
Savoring you in embrace romantic, ecstatic till the end of time,
Extolling life’s moments euphoric, alluring our love in prime.

As gilded smile of rising sun, sparkles gleaming skyline blue,
And ruby rays of dawn twinkle from glinting morning dew,
And meadows of spring-blossoms enthrall your fervid view,
And songs of our doting hearts, strumming love-tunes woo;
Cherishing memories enamored, forever vows we renew,
In Elysium of happiness, fate designed just for me and you.

Follow me, out of bleakness that questions meaning of life,
Follow me to enlightenment that negates angst of strife,
Follow me afar from the void of materiality, ego, and pride,
Follow me to the realms, that wisdom and virtues abide,
Follow me to self-awareness, questing halo of inner light,
Follow me on path to eternity, within walls of this life finite.

In the depths of Mt Rainier fire stirred,
The earth around trembled in dire anger,
As the fiery spirit Elf wandered
In the depths of the spouting volcano
Exuding thick feculent, fusty smells,
And from the volcano's top, exuded
Ash, smoke, flaming rocks and burning lava.

Dare a human female refuse Elf?
Not that he loved her as Indians love.
His fervid lust for her knew no limit.
His anger increased beyond all known bounds.
Rising to the top of the volcano,
Elf hurled fireballs, torching the forests,
So that poor humans flew towards a lake.

There they prayed to their good God to save them.
A large stone fell into the volcano
Burying Elf and his hateful fire.
A fearful blizzard formed and rain and snow
Filled the volcano until all was calm.
A large lake formed and a lovely island
Rose majestically from the waters:
A seventh wonder of Columbia.

The Abandoned Upland

Across the limpid and serene river, the oasis of the Wild West pioneers,
there are ivory and charcoal peaks waiting for mountaineers
to discover as they rest under the long-leafed pines that sway;
on this side, the saw-tooth oaks and the daisy bushes are lovely greeters.

Not long ago, this abandoned upland was the home of gold-diggers,
sarcasm and violence went hand in hand...even eagles could have lost their feathers,
and those cluttered wooden shacks weren't not built for comfort,
but with limited space, they could hardly stretch out their legs and sleep like bears.

Travelers are very fascinated by the peace and scenery, not seen from their urban lair;
come to enjoy a short period of tranquility and breathe in the crisp air:
some write, some paint...others dream away to visualize that great era!
Look past that river, willow oaks and maples can soothe the travels of a trudging bear.

Find your spot, whenever you choose and be vowed by an imagination so rare;
take off your fedora hat and go beyond those mountains brightened by the sun's glare,
let a mockingbird or shrike delight your senses with their beautiful song...
with a fervid wish, let them take you where they have watched the new moon's mare.

This pomegranate heart
dreams to travel upon
a periwinkle path which
leads to the province,
where her royal majestic
persona resembles
papillon emperors,
floating under
mauveine skies,
adored by radiant rays from
the plummeting plum sun.

Serene clouds drift under
her lepidolite lilac gaze,
holding morning glory
amethyst raindrops,
ready to soothe her
fervid velvet petals.

A plethora of heather shelters
a rare rose dressed in violet,
flourishing under an
enigmatic Jacaranda tree,
surrounded by lush lilies,
infatuating irises alongside
opulent orchids,
blossoms infused with the
allure of musky ambience.

Tranquil twilight paints the
horizons in lavender hues,
stars appear like raisins
under magenta moonlight.
Her desires flow like rivers
of sangria and Syrah waterfalls,
bursting vibrantly through
mulberry mountains over
blueberry hills.

I have no desire
to reside in a place where
burgundy is too red
and indigo is too blue -
only in her unique aura
of heavenly purple shades.
