It is my fault

I don’t know how but it is my fault
I understand
I too would hate a child that looks exactly like her father
Her face engraved every heartbreak I tried to bury deep for safe keeping
Her resemblance bearing the broken promises I suffered at the hands of a man who had no plans of staying in my life for too long
He just came in for dinner and left shortly after
Leaving you to bear the consequences of falling blindly in love
All you are left with is a living, breathing, walking sign “I was here”
It is my fault
I don’t know how but it is my fault
I understand
I too would hate a child that looks exactly like her father

My presence is like having all your bad decisions thrown in your face
Like you, I am also a victim of the same man
I am being punished for the sins of my deadbeat father
He sure was a charmer
Keeping all the letters I wrote to him as a child in box
Maybe if I keep them long enough I would be able grow a man out of words scribbled
Maybe I would birth a perfect father out of pen and paper
So mom you see, you are not the only one burning with anger caused by him
It is not my faut after all
For I too am a victim of his lies

Romance To Palermo

To go to Palermo,
I should take the train,
It seems to me, Miss
It won’t take as long with you.

With you miss
It would be shorter,
I would see the beautiful Sicily,
See it, under the flowers of your smiles.

To go to Palermo,
We must not have worries,
That’s why, Miss,
That I will surely kiss you
Like a gentle olive.

Pour aller à Palerme,
Il me faut prendre le train,
Il me semble mademoiselle
Qu'avec vous, ce sera moins long.

Avec vous mademoiselle
Ce serait moins long,
Je verrais la belle Sicile
Sous les fleurs de vos sourires.

Pour aller à Palerme,
Il ne faut pas avoir de soucis,
C'est pour ça mademoiselle
Que je vous embrasserai
Comme une gentille olive.

turkish thoughts

It is important to vary the landscapes,
For the spirit to be happy,

But what soothes a lover?
The beauty of a mountain range,
The purity of a river, the silence of a lake,

It takes an inner garden to the soul,
To grow roses, orchids,
Daffodils and all kinds of sweets,

Only the sun has authority over the heart of man.

primroses

I could stay for hours under the sun
to contemplate bouquets of primroses,
to listen to the buzzing of insects,
To contemplate their petals, the shape of hearts,

I could stay for hours if no one comes,
to absorb the happiness of such delicate flowers,
Ah, wasting your time is always winning it,
Wasting your time, it’s an art, it’s a work,

It takes the help of God and wild nature,
To understand the soul of things, symbols,
I could stay for hours in the sun.
Contemplating primrose bouquets.

Lo' beneigh' the random bield, bewails upo' the leaf
An' lea'e me naught but grief and pain, as moone breaks through the heath
Upo' the gilded braes we kissed, luve sang a zephyrs cry
Where say, my luve, o' fare thee weel, till a' the seas gang dry

An' bleak October winds ensue, beneigh' the furrow's frost
The sacred lowe, o' week-plac'd love...o' lost my sweet betroth
Yea withered ere', lies mist and bleak, an' mine an empty hand
With sword in hand, yea wander'd far, monie a ravished land

Och! Fated arrow pierced my heart, cauld by thy warrior's blade
Thy sun has waned, the bluid has poured, so boldly o're the glade
Death oftly feared, tho fear naugt more, so deep within my breast
O' do thou kindly, lie him low, upo' this mound of rest

Whase only faut was lovin thee, my tears in dust, my luve is deeply laid
Immortal I lie down 'ere now, lockt in thy arms, upo' the gilded glade

Who would you like to have lunch with

Who would you like to have lunch with?
With Mylène Farmer, I think,
Love is important,
But less than a beautiful rondeau,
Who would you like to have lunch with?

You have to sleep alone at night
Or drink a good whiskey,
Should you think about friends?

With Mylène Farmer, I think,
Or this cousin Catherine,
His voice is a touching sapphire,
Love is important,
But less than a beautiful rondeau.

Avec qui aimeriez vous déjeuner ?
Avec Mylène Farmer, je crois,
C’est important l’amour,
Mais moins qu’un beau rondeau,
Avec qui aimeriez vous déjeuner ?

Faut il dormir seul la nuit
Ou boire un bon whisky,
Faut il penser à ses amis ?

Avec Mylène Farmer, je crois,
Ou cette cousine Catherine,
Sa voix est un touchant saphir,
C’est important l’amour,
Mais moins qu’un beau rondeau.

11 november in Europe

The trenches are dug,
We gotta go, guys,
Defend our country,
On the other side of the Rhine,
They don’t speak French,
On the other side of the Rhine,
They don’t speak German,
Sprechen Sie Deutsch ?

We gotta go, guys,
To die for a wheat field,
die for a mill,
To die for his children,
We gotta go, guys,
On the other side of the Rhine,
They don’t speak French,
On the other side of the Rhine,
They don’t speak German,

We gotta go, guys,
I could have been born in Saarbrücken,
I could have been born in Neuilly,
What a difference in the bottom,
We gotta kill each other, guys
Like hungry wolves,
Like bloody beasts,

Where’s the humanity, guys?
She’s in our houses,
On the banks of the Seine,
Under the sun of Arles,
It is in the port of Hamburg,
Nobody talks about it,
Humanity is the peace,
Peace is back, guys,
The peace of November 11.

Les tranchées sont creusées,
Il faut y aller les gars,
Défendre notre pays,
De l’autre côté du Rhin,
Ils ne parlent pas français,
De l’autre côté du Rhin,
Ils ne parlent pas allemand,

Il faut y aller les gars,
Mourir pour un champ de blé,
mourir pour un moulin,
Mourir pour ses enfants,
Il faut y aller les gars,
De l’autre côté du Rhin,
Ils ne parlent pas français,
De l’autre côté du Rhin,
Ils ne parlent pas allemand,

Il faut y aller les gars,
J’aurais pu naitre à Sarrebruck,
J’aurais pu naitre à Neuilly,
Quelle différence au fond,
Il faut s’entretuer les gars
Comme des loups affamés,
Comme des bêtes sanglantes,

Où est l’humanité les gars ?
Elle est dans nos maisons,
Sur le bord de la Seine,
Sous le soleil d’Arles,
Elle est dans le port de Hambourg,
Personne n’en parle,
L’Humanité c’est la paix,
La paix retrouvée, les gars,
La paix du onze novembre.

poetry for my stomach

My “honey” with chestnuts will not come for Christmas,
It’s life, you have to enjoy yourself anyway
once a year,

New Year’s menu to enjoy at the time you like,

Foie gras with a glass of Monbazillac,
Snails with butter,
Scallop shell with lemon-white butter
Short break

Quail with hot mango
and hazelnut potatoes,

Maybe cheese with the tour des grands ducs (local wine)

Then the dessert
Traditional bûche de Noël

You are all welcome
No need to be a millionaire even at Christmas

Life is not a gift,
For those who do not find love,
You have to beat your eggs, your words,
It is necessary to bend like a reed,
Do not believe in fine speeches,

It is necessary to bend like a reed,
plant cabbages, curve the back,
Beat the eggs with love,

You flee all the rivals,
They have read your only flaws,
In Mexico, there or in Oslo,
For those who do not find love,
Life is not a gift.

La vie n’est pas un cadeau,
Pour qui ne trouve l’amour,
Il faut battre ses œufs, ses mots,
Il faut plier tel un roseau,
Ne pas croire aux beaux discours,

Il faut plier tel un roseau,
planter des choux, courber le dos,
Battre les œufs avec amour,

Vous fuyez tous les rivaux,
Ils ont lus vos seuls défauts,
Au Mexique, là ou à Oslo,
Pour qui ne trouve l’amour,
La vie n’est pas un cadeau.

The Male Rival

est-ce qu ils me
bloquent?
the assumption
the muse is her lover
the best muses end up
unloved
with nothing at all
I refuse to be anything
except her man
her lover, companion
her all!

de pierro and kakhidze
vasilisa buratto: feala
mimica!
de piazzolla no:no:no!
il faut chanter avez
un orchestra
sous les
applaudissements de
la foule
si desidera
fah,lah,lah?
potremmo cantare
tutti insieme?
ah: vah e un ritmo
lento
l'intro unisce la donna
e l'uomo
la gelosia di quelli
chi vuole essere
nella posizione in
cui mi trovo
est-ce qu'elle chante
sur scene
est-ce que monisier
fait la meme chose?
il pubblico applaude
per salutarti?
Potrebbero inchinarsi
o inchinarsi
dire che sono felice
che tu sia venuto?
decapo and Dal Segno!
