the bell rings, but i don’t

the bell rings,
and the world moves again—
backpacks swing,
voices fill the hall,
and i’m still sitting here,
staring at a blank page
that keeps whispering his name.

my uncle is dying.
they said it so quietly,
like maybe if they whispered,
it wouldn’t come true.
pancreatic cancer—
last stage,
no cure,
just time,
as if time were mercy.

i used to think sadness was loud—
crying, breaking,
some movie thing.
but it’s not.
it’s quiet.
it’s when your chest feels heavy
but your face doesn’t move.
it’s when the teacher’s words
slide off your brain like water,
and all you can hear
is your own heartbeat asking,
“why him?”

i sit behind a school desk
while he lies on a couch somewhere,
fighting to keep his food down.
and i hate it—
how i’m here,
how i still laugh sometimes,
how life doesn’t stop for this.

they tell me to focus,
to eat,
to stay strong.
but how do you eat
when guilt sits where hunger should be?
how do you focus
when grief is already practicing its lines
inside your skull?

he still smiles when i visit.
two hours a week,
every time he says, “hey, kiddo,”
like it’s just another day.
but i see it—
the shaking hands,
the thinness.
he’s slipping,
and no one wants to say it out loud.

the bell rings again.
everyone leaves.
i stay.
because i can’t learn equations
when i’m already counting
how many weeks might be left.

Left:
What I have been suggesting...

Right:
You may call your reasoning "suggestion"
but that makes your voice no less urgent,
intrusive,
explicit as an analogy
suggests metaphoric interdependence.

Left:
What I might support--
We all live in and on double-binding Earth
double-binary mindscaped
and body-acting
motion suffering and pleasured natures
ego-identified,

And, right-hemisphere spirits of regenerate DNA strings and webs,
primal attachments
and pre- and re-attachments,
trusts
and mistrusts
and distrusts
and active restoring retrusts;

Double-binary bilaterals
like Yang power and Yintegrity,
like One known and Zero felt
like Ego being and EcoPolitical becoming,
like Resilient win/lose dissonance and Resonant win/win confluence,
like PolyPath egos toward PolyPhonic eco-muses,
like complex Polynomials regenerating not(not) MultiCultural His/HerStory,
like Horizontal equations and DeepVertical intersectionality,
like 3D Atoms and 4D spiraling WaveLinears,
like Space spheres and BiLateral Time global networks,
like InFormation unfinishably alive
and ExFlowation phishing life and death co-arisings.

Right:
[Warm co-passionate co-presence,
active listening,
responsive hope,
curiously immortal courage...]

Are we safer together than apart?
Do we mutually matter?
Are we still actively whom EarthTribes
are win/win becoming integrity?

Premium Member Love's Chemical Derivatives

Can love then, be based
on an index of elements
from which one joyfully tumbles,
or drifts into equations, as we wander
toward a rush of serendipity ...
a metaphysical merging of ardor
writhing in a shared communion
like tuneful whispers in breaths of helium,
unabbreviated oxygen rhapsodies
from unbidden laughter,
invigorating the warmth of co-owned stars
on heaven’s destined oracle?

Love transcends chemical derivatives
of fractals or measurement,
between our atoms, relaxed
in the shuffle of emotional electrons
as we quiver weightless...
the heart’s embrace suspended together
in the affectionate cosmos
of a deep kiss.

~ It was a challenge for me to translate in meaningful ways
this abstract concept, 'physics of love,' but somehow
made sense of it by affirming that such is beyond mere science.

Equations of Astrology

Ultimately it is of utmost mistake to stereotype
Thus the astrology in the form of the daily horoscope
In any ancient - medieval and renaissance culture then to cope
With each of these as well as contemporary philosophy
In fact be it be true psychological astrology to be or shall it not be
Attempts to reconcile temporal and local images. per se
Thou we have several unique abilities of astrology
Science of an old etymological sense of truly
" A system of knowledge" A science in mathematics
Measuring quantities - cause and effect in modern physics
Postulates behind the measurement in ancient primitive
Archaic astrology and astral astrology cognitive
Leading to astral of personality all within us
We earn the ultimate of its entirety all within us

N I G G E R

N.I.G.G.E.R (Nigeria Is God's Greatest Enunciated Race)

On the road to Africa lies riches & diamond rings,
In the land of green & white & green,
The men with "three eyes" are kings,
Raising above sickening sins that stinks
And becoming a god without God investigating,
Corporate Merriment on the day of their joy
Though we're questioning & vexing.
We're Unforsaken but a 'chosen generation,
A royal priesthood, an holy nation'
(Though could be unholy in her approach sometimes),
Beauty & power laudest in our ovation,
A land of brown sands, blood & brine,
Riches & undying hope in its prime,
Queuing vehicles & praying hands
To lend our spirit, soul & body wholly
Like ghost to trouble joy, we tell the story;
Eyes gaze at the pilot stars
Calculating our abundance & scattered equations.
So let's swear an oath
On the highest mountains & hills
Like starved whores on pills,
Like gods careless of mankind under their eyes,
That greatness will be a reality someday,
And like lost treasures from a capsized ship
Nature shall wash your shells where this land lies
And it shall breed saviours of our kind.

You He She the Number Three

You
He
And she is a mixture for disaster or is it?
For he comes to you with all of the equations
Mixtures and fixtures that fit.
But what happens when that number one falls to
the number three?
Is the equation based on simple subtraction? Or is it
based on an answer that needs to be?
So
Is three a crowd when he loves you just right?
Or is it a test in seeing if you'll just keep up the
great fight?
So who is he?
Is this a man that comes from the pool of greed?
Or
Is this a man who is an empty soul who wants to feel the
word called "Need"?
No matter the equation; subtracting three from one leaves
two.
So why are you fooling yourself into believing that the number
two will be you?
So what does one do?
When she feels that he and she are meant to be.
No matter the situation, the formula doesn't add up
when there's...
You
He
She... The Number Three

Our Lives Are To Short

The clock gnaws marrow from the bone,
Its hands are wolves in a quiet room.
I pace the halls of books like a penitent,
Collecting alphabets, equations, broken hymns—
Each one a splinter of fire to brand my palms.

Learning is a lantern, I tell myself,
But it burns both the pupil and the page.
Still, I drink the poison of knowledge,
Measure each drop with trembling fingers,
Because power without mercy is a blade in the dark.

Let the evil ones be caught in their own traps,
Sealed in jars, their whispers locked
Like moths in a museum drawer.
The good should hammer the lid shut—
And yet the shadows leak, they stain the air.

I scavenge disciplines the way crows hoard silver:
Philosophy, astronomy, anatomy,
A perpetual ladder built skyward, rung by rung.
The body sours, but the mind must not sleep,
Not while questions are hissing in the grass.

Don’t hate the players, hate the game—
But I see the board stained with red squares,
Pawns split open, queens reduced to ash.
Still, I move my piece forward.
Still, I mouth the rules until they cut my tongue.

Why are our lives so short?
Because the brain is a storm,
And storms cannot be persuaded to last.

What Is Life

Good morning my dearest students,
toady's lesson will be love

excuse me teacher what about our space geometry ?
Yes, teacher don't we have that major project to discuss first?

teacher! teacher, are you okay?

Yes, my dearest very fine i am.
From an early age we've been taught,
a whole lot of things.
From how to tie our shoes to how to solve equations.
Many things,
all important things.

But what they don't teach is how to love,
how to behave when in love,
how to be loved and love others in return.

Such things, such little things are so great,
because we live for love one way or the other;
we live for a smile.
Happy are we when our beloved smiles, too.

These are the things that are beautiful,
truly beautiful.
But! There is more to it; you see,
no one is perfect and perfect is none,
yet we all do our very best.

mistake we are designed to do
and mistakes are the best teachers
from mistakes we learn

ultimately you make enough mistakes not to repeat it
and sometimes once is just enough

but my dearest you see
no one dare teaches us about how to behave during errors and mistake
because there is no right way

ashamed we feel
bury us in a hole now
may the earth crack open and swallow us
disappeared we all want to be

at such moment time is irrelevant
everything stops
and that moment repeats itself
over and over again
we are stuck in that loop

have we lost our minds you may wonder
no excuses you are an adult
you are not crazy just human

in a few years you will laugh it off
that's when you know
the best of us do make mistakes

but that shouldn't never stop you from loving
love with all you heart
that's what makes us humane
love with all your heart

because what is life without love?
whenever you fall down or make a mistake
do remember to apologize and be sincere
what are we if we don't have love?

intelligence doesn't separate us from the primitive beings
love does

all the greatest things in history were done in the name of love?
what will you do for love?

that is all for today
class dismissed

Two Equals One

Dreams to yet know of
Future promises the unpromising future
Mystery never to solve
An image without camera to forever capture

Like you see yet see not
To have but never once to know
An idea without the thought
To love and never enfold

Like a dying soul with a living breath
Like an achievement without the applaud
Like stolen loots that be theft
Like the many lives for a one man’s war

Two for the equations of one
The dark and light to bring about lives
Blood bearing the symbols to fun
Reasons we learn to never question the whys

And deeper shall go unspoken of
Unpromising a future for a past to promise
The cure is to cause
Whence the image be forever captured

Premium Member The Captain and I

I am a nerd/geek through and through,
my past time is seeing how something
works.
What really gets me going is numbers
and equations.
My nick name was little Einstein, I really
loved science.
I was the loner and math tutor after school.
Tutoring gave me the chance to socialize
and come out of my shell.
I enjoyed it until I had to tutor the captain
of our football team.
He was arrogant and he had the brains
of a kid in kindergarten.
And I was head over heels infatuated with
him.
Once we got over our stereotypes of each
other, we became fast friends.
He was actually smart and played the role
of an airhead.
When our walls came crashing down it was
a mutual attraction and respect.
I’m still pinching myself, who would have
thought the nerd and the captain(football)
would be together.

Yours truly,
Mrs Nerd
