The Dreams In His Eyes

I vanish in the whirr of dreams in your eyes,
The death masses swallowing me whole,
Masked in your elegant form,
A glistening conviction I cannot dare to obtain

Woe be the paths to your chiseled love,
For the principles of your life smother me,
Kill me…enchant me
As I feed upon the emptiness you have mastered

You groan as I hold on to that dream…
That dream flooding in his innocent eyes
You grip me, and tug me away,
As I cry out for him, farther and farther gone…

And I realize then,
That you have shown me,
The dreams in his eyes,
Were not his own…
But were mine, reflecting back at me…

Irrational conviction!!!
Disgusting…
Pathetic…
Daunting…
Low.

I stare up at the black ceiling of reality
The mirrors cannot lie:
I am torn to shreds by your absolute love
And I cannot say goodbye

Premium Member Silver Strands

Beneath the earth in the vale of the kings
For countless years undiscovered, unseen
In an old leather bag bound with brass rings
A necklet so rare, ‘twas fit for a queen

This beautiful piece with deep lustrous shine
In beaten red gold and fine silver strands
A stunning linked chain of complex design
Depicting the skill of artisan’s hands

From where had it come, to whom would belong?
A Queen, or princess of elegant grace?
Whose story was writ in the poet’s song
Sung by the slave girls in this ancient place

A priceless treasure found under the sands
A link to the past in fine silver strands

Kisses

~ kisses, kisses, kisses... endless kisses ~

Sensuous kisses are those many sweet and kind thoughts of you that I have very oft.
Intrigued Kisses are my eyes, at first glance of you, shining ever so gentle and soft.
Sexy kisses are all the long lost feelings that awaken whenever you come near.
Exquisite kisses are the elegant tones of my voice that only your ears will hear.
Sensational kisses are our wonderful times together without putting on airs.
Butterfly kisses are flying around my stomach each time we share our care.
Intimate kisses are the common qualities shared in the life we're living.
Endless kisses are eternally my pleasures when it's to you I'm giving.

~ Kisses, kisses, kisses... endless kisses ~ love and kisses,
hugs and kisses, Miss you kisses, ticklish kisses, hey hello
kisses, love blow kisses, Get well kisses, can't you tell

Ode To the Matriarch

My grandma is the most wonderful person in the universe.
May 30th, 1924 is when this graceful woman entered earth.
She battled through hardships and cried with joy
had one beautiful daughter and two healthy boys
She raised them able and taught them loyalty.
Disciplined them strictly yet treated them as royalty.

And if a husband and three kids were never enough,
she took on two more when mom and Fots had it rough.
I was very young when I met this elegant lady.
No teeth in my mouth, I was just a newborn baby.
The aroma of home-cooked dumplings with chicken
fills every memory we were ever close to the kitchen.

Board games free hugs and endless pumpkin pies
are just the perks of a simple visit; even when surprised!
Eyes in the back of her head and a quick slap of my hand
each time I proportionally thought I had a leg to stand.
Depression, World War II, Korea, Vietnam
all long before my first experience as a man.

Thank you for teaching me how to treat a woman right
and appreciate each moment no matter what the fight.
You continue to impress me with your positive way,
of course you’d be walking into 93 this birthday!

I love you Grandma – Happy Birthday!!!! xoxoxoxox

My Valentine's Night

Like a garden of roses,
Her appearance is elegant.
She’s full of confidence
With a mind of intelligence.

The sweet aroma of her perfume,
Exposes my dimples in the light.
There’s no reason to hide,
The feelings I have on the inside.

I want to know her better,
Simply spend some time together.
Escort her on a date night,
Affirm her all throughout the night.

She’s the special one tonight,
I hope she feels like a queen tonight.
There’s no one more important,
Than her at this very moment.

Since I listen to those,
Whom raised me right.
I know how to treat my lady right;
And have a sweet Valentine’s night.

I'M Finding Myself

I'm finding myself
Inside many sanguine moods
Inside many inviting worlds
All in anticipation
Of love
Not for anyone
Or anything
In particular
Just looking deep within
And deep beyond
The surface matters
That clog our anemic hearts
That jail our vapid senses
From welcoming epiphanies,
Ecstasies and
Electric declarations
That await our famished souls
From stoking incitements,
Boisterous joys
And elegant, mystical memories
Burning to lash out
Into indelible grins of
Happiness and you-so-deserve-this
Maybe it's this music
Charged with classical tantrums
And movie-like maudlin exclamations
Maybe it's my past revving up
With ghosts more handsome
And meaningful than ever
Or maybe it's my dreams
After years of desperate confusion,
Fractured esteem and salty embraces
Finally granted permission
To live in vividness
To dance the hues
The conniptions of color
Drooling endlessly from the mouths of our precious ids and willing egos
Summoning self, compassion and sacrifice
To adrenalin's edge
To flesh-removing, death-imbibing levels
This is where love resides
Here is where I visit
Here is where I wish to stay.

Her Encounter With a Cheetah

A tissue like a white hibiscus like the one in the garden of Demetrios
It fell on my shoulder, as if from the scarlet mist of my unconscious
Emitting a maddeningly possessive aroma
Forced me to look at the spotted cheetah
Seated under a very old yellow forest birch in an appetite ageless
As I craned my neck a little up my eyes came across the pink furnace

His flowing hair resembled an amber cascade in a hill in Darjeeling
His face held the finely drawn painting of Michelangelo, revealing
Hypnotic heat of passion for my deep river
At the bend looked up the restless shiver
The crimson coloured crests rushing toward the inevitable healing
In reckless submission to the cuddling curving crashing and crushing

What happened then is not difficult for you to visualize dear readers
An elegant embroidery of diamond desire from the rainbow breakers
Looked down in delight the birds from the clouds
How in sweet heat dissolved the cultural shroud
In the fountain of eternal flesh and blood the lilacs of Atlantic laughter
Thousands of butterflies under sunlight set sail in flamboyant lustre

Femme Fatale

Refined dame with polished frame
Strewing rose petals from lofty pedestal
Sparkling eyes from which stardust flies
Bright smile spindling on embroidered dial
Pallid face shrouded with humble grace
High cheek bones with sculptor's chisel honed
Coiffed strands of hair so De Rigueur
Elegant neck sharing femininity with regal dignity
Voluptuous bosom with silky folds rolled
Roon paps flowing with sweet, sugary saps
Frothy balloon hovering over silted cocoon
Swiveled hips whose billowy curves in rhythm swerve
Heart-shaped hands from which dexterous tendrils
expand
Long, shapely legs with slithering grooves bathed in silky
lube
Dainty feet whose comely features do entreat

Premium Member Would Anyone Mind

She is young, startlingly pretty. He notices her when she takes a chair.
Be with you in a few, he tells her.
Look at the samples if you like.
She picks up photos of his art and begins thumbing through it.

Her skin is exquisitely beautiful.
He does not see this until she is behind the curtain with him.
She hops up on the table and looks at him with solemn amber eyes.
Did you see something you like?
She shakes her head ‘no’.

Her skin is virginal. He feels weird about this.
What do you want?
A new butterfly, an original. Something you have never done.
He nods.
Lots of markings, she said. Details.

Would anyone mind? He asks her gently.
Tears form but she blinks them away.
Not anymore.

Wordlessly the tattoo artist picks up his tools and begins
Determined to make her the most elegant butterfly he has ever created.

Premium Member Journey

The daunting mountain formidable
in the undulating rough landscape of life,
needs to be climbed as destined.
When the solemn summit alluringly calls,
I follow the undefined tough trail
through the surging storm of tribulation.

I saunter with steadfast devotion
the designed tortuous pathway God makes,
and as in His ordained unstinted blessing
I repose my resolute and devout trust,
unwavering faith shows me the right path
in the dark night of dreary squall.

The turbulent ocean of tempestuous life,
tossing fervidly in the grueling gust,
needs to be sailed serene to the ultimate shore
where the last anchorage waits to be found.
I get guided by His omnipresent beacon,
that I follow with unfaltering dedication.

The dark alleys of dire distress,
seized by the anguished silence profound,
need to be lighted with divine candle.
In the debris of the broken heart within abyss,
God’s elegant grace will abound
with the radiance of heavenly essence.

Flushed by the final flash of the twilight tinge,
I am walking the last mile,
enthralled by the melody of prayer hymn.
I traverse through the stillness of the soul
to the bay of bliss at the edge of eternity,
toward infinity I take the inward journey.
