Say the Name Jesus

In the advent season we celebrate the new born king
the Son who was sent as a gift, a promise everlasting
and in spite of the darkness, our misery, and of our strife
our disillusion, disassociation and disenfranchisement with life
God made us a promise and a child was sent to us
and we only need to say His name it's Christ Jesus

If you try the Spirit, then go by the Spirit you will always find
that the power of God is omnipotent and omnipresent for all time
and whenever God gives you a word consider the situation done
for His word will always determine the final and ultimate outcome
it's the reason for the season, the birth of Our Savior
the Prince of Peace who was sent to modify our sinful behavior
so full of righteousness, mercy, grace and trust
and all you need to do is say the name Christ Jesus

Yet the one thing that mankind can't seem to comprehend
is that God operates on kyros time and not the chronos time of men
He's aware of all the troubles that we are going through
He knows that the adversary is always trying to tempt you
He sees all the darts and arrows that life at us has thrown
He desires that we learn we cannot do it all alone
for to wait is the pace that leads to God's grace

Our God is not a god who reigns from afar
He came in the flesh and His sign was a star
He reduced Himself and came to earth as a lowly servant
Emanuel was His name and His manner was most observant
God is now here and He dwells among us
just say His name it's Christ Jesus

There's power in that name when you shout it out
and whenever you call on Him, He will remove all of your doubts
He will lift you up whenever you're feeling down
He will place you on sacred and higher ground
His name will give you the power to be blessed
just say the name whenever you're feeling stressed
just say the name the name Jesus Christ
and allow the Holy Spirit into your life

Jehovah Jireh my provider, Jehovah Nissi my battle fighter
Jehovah Shalom my giver of peace, Jehovah Rophe my everlasting relief
JUST SAY THE NAME

Finnish Tango In The Rain

standing in the rain again
in the rain again I stand,
next to the Finnish truck driver waiving with a wet newspaper
or maybe it's a card deck, hand looks like a duck's beak
from the radio "Satumaa" sounds like fruits falling from trees
rolling down on the patio to find a man and woman circling each other's bulb like bodies
and everyone has forgotten why it rains

we are surrounded by tango and dresses and unsteady hands on knee caps, nails tapping on guilt and minds too hazy to recall what a promise feels like

drops keep running down my neck
I long for a glass of whatever to lean my finger and thoughts against

Reijo Taipale will not be leaving the radio anywhere soon, and someone says "we are in a movie, feels like it, right? this is too real to be anything but"

no birds are singing anymore
wax like birches are standing heavy and empty against the quiet lake
where all the horses sometimes used to swim

the wooden boards will squeak when I leave.

Premium Member Allowing the Experience

Like everything else in life, the more you do it the better you get.
But the first time is an amazing experience and something you will never forget.

Most people, however, never have a first time.

This is not something you will to happen.
This is not something you make happen.
This is not something that takes thought, intelligence, strength, endurance, or perseverance.

In fact, this is something that takes absolutely nothing to make it happen.

But, you see, not many people can achieve absolute nothingness.

To allow your spirit to disconnect from its physical casing requires you to forget everything you know about life; to suspend disbelief; to transcend into a world of nothingness; no thought; no sensual perception; no bias towards physical traits; no awareness; no expectations.

You don’t try to leave your body. You don’t imagine what it is like. You just allow it to happen by having no expectations of what it means. You enter into the realm of nothingness.

The first out of body experience for the few of us that have been blessed with this occurrence is more like an accident than an achievement.

You simply find yourself looking down on a body you hardly recognize before realizing it is yours.

This realization; this shock; usually results in ending the experience before you even realize what it was you were experiencing. But, once it happens a second time, you can maintain the disassociation; you can remain distanced from your physical being.

Anyone who attempts to have an out of body experience is likely to fail. You do not make this happen, you simply allow it to happen.

Some think they have achieved this state aided by drugs, alcohol or meditation … they have not. People only think they have based on a misconception about what this experience really is.

Just like I cannot tell you how to have this experience, I cannot explain to you what this experience is like. And the only way you can experience it for yourself is to forget all about trying to experience it.

Just like everything else in life, the more you do it the better you get.

But it is really nothing that you do and more something that you allow by simply doing and being nothing.

Attracting Attention

“All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts.” William Shakespeare

high fashion climbs the ladder of
     artifice, advertising, allure

unrestrained composition by
designer, model, photographer
create an image with power
to heal, change, inspire

   bright lights, illumination
     flare, freedom, flair, fun
       set the consumer's eye
          for imagination, industry, impulse

high fashion also climbs a ladder of
      disassociation, defiance, desire
      appealing to a variety of audiences

Premium Member cracking

it had been a miserable place in his heart
disconnected the body mind and soul
wandered in a straightjacket of bedlam
insanity depression and misgivings
firmly rooted in a lonely Self
abandoned by madness and despair

a crack is where the light gets in
once the solar eclipse fissures
its own crevice down to the core

separated and broken he prayed
for a shift in awareness
an awakening of renewed consciousness
for lunacy to remove the dark side of the moon

a rainbow all by itself would not
open his chakras waiting for
transcendental rejuvenation

the here and there seemed to be a wayward journey
from the sombre past to an enlightened future
while impermanence seemed despondent
full of sorrow sadness and undeterred pain

shallow regret would not suffice
but meditation eased the path
once step at a time just for today
through reflection which condensed his resolve

forgiveness and honesty crept in
an inward shell split open disassociation
composed realities and wishes
desires acceptance and the courage to transpose

he did not allow himself to fail to recall
precedent misdemeanours
dared not to forget nor revel in glory

instead he fathomed that purpose
meaning and growth required
constant attention and that change can be done

a true crackdown emerged
at the luminous dawn of novel beginnings

Resignation

Resignation

Dignity and courage defined by undeniable morality.
Integrity shown vividly within kindness.
Positive optimism outlooks mold cherish-able characteristics.
Resolved decorums cloak an image.
Traits one portrays internally.
Dumbfounded by social interactions extended more so throughout humanities entirety.
Lost by rights as wrongs pollute rights.
Tongue tied by disassociation; festering.
Hope resonates.
Life gets in the way.
People penetrate.
Misunderstood man makes judgmental mistakes.

Pity
Acceptance
Worry
Contemplation
Self doubt
Misunderstanding
Seclusion
Passive regrets

Another Session

My mind is in confusion
I think there's been an intrusion.
The things I see are just an illusion
and I am seeking a solution
Before I'm overwhelmed with emotion.

In my mind, there's a combination
of possession
of obsession
of aggression

Something has blurred my vision
and has lowered my ambition

I don't know right now if this is a confession
it's been a while since our last short session
But, I believe there's been a deviation
and a disassociation

*Stop all communication.
*There has been a breach in the information.
*Alternative initiation.
*New determination.
*Protocol transition.
System reboot: New variation
/: No more distraction
Subject isolation
/: No more frustration
Lose passion,
Lose affection,
Lose foundation.

System configuration
New partition.
Other personality integration.
Could not delete all old files, system malfunction.

Conclusion
Now I am an amalgamation of silence and communication.
an accumulation of inattention and consideration.
a combination of relaxation and agitation.
articulation of imagination and exaggeration.

So, what's your recommendation?

Premium Member My Dreams For Our Nation

My dreams include hope, love, and peace.
They echo in my lioness heart and mind daily.
My constitution can barely stomach the hatred
I feel and see and the disassociation I feel from the others

Wanting to unite them with joy and enthusiasm
When they are a daily echo of differentiation
I want our nation to settle down amicably
Remembering that we are all Americans

Whether we welcome new masses to our abode
or not, should not keep us from being our
kind, wonderful, sexy, sensual, best selves.

Let’s be the United States we thought we were
a short time ago. Nothing has changed that will
not change again. We need to rise up to our name.
The UNITED states…

                          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tread of life
      a strand of hair
           disassociation
desolation    devastation
floribunda      flapdoodle
                   constantly hearing
Voices...
             whispering
                    screaming,
spread their
             ivory wings,
                               fly
                         in  velveteen
                              sky
Constantly...
                     berating,
                         damaging
                              disparaging
mentally...
unseen torment
                 pretending
                        drowning in
                              unfillable      chasm
Trauma...
           suppressing
                        swallowing
existence
                   dripping with shadows...
When casting spells
             seeking peace
                           amid war
                                turn off TVs
            keep radios hushed
                             lure of
                       loathy
                 illusion
draped in earthy
                   petrichor shade
splendidly
               sculpted from
                                   stardust
bereft of insignia or emblem...
Opus headline
           in magnetic bowl
                          shredded
                  with a spark
burned in full
anoint ash
          on forehead
                                  As Peace Symbol
Then
    with a broken gun
                on windowsill
                             east-facing muzzle
           align seven shots
heart-shaped trigger guard
                shadows shouldn't touch
Then
stir three dove wings
                            into hot milk
must be flawless
           add three plastic
                  army men
                          whirlwind
                                       madness
let it cool down &
stir with
              olive branch
Dump sharp knife out
             sun-facing blade
                      back spell your name
                                  five times
                      then step inside &
                                   close the door
etched in
          immortal art
                      of humanity.
