A Portrait of Vincent Vangogh

To the proud parents, Anna and Theo
A serious lad, silent and thorough
A clan of preachers
And dealers of art
From the southern Netherlands came Van Gogh

When sent to school, he did not want to go
The separation led to much sorrow
But he learned to draw
Whatever he saw
Sent off to sell art in Paris, Van Gogh

His happiest time, and now in love, oh
Till the landlady’s daughter told him no
Now a broken heart
Surly to sell art
Fired from his job in Paris, Van Gogh

Vincent sought out a coal miners’ burrow
A priest of sorts, but a squalid fellow
The church was appalled
And cursed his resolve
To the asylum for crazy Van Gogh?

His father baffled, on the verge of foe
Art interest, once again, began to grow
Back to school again
This time, in His name
To paint in the service of God, Van Gogh

School’s out, back to his parents he would go
Using neighbors as subjects to ditto
Proposed to his cousin
Which she found disgustin’
Burning his hand to see her, holy Van Gogh!?!

Now off to The Hague, a family furlough
To live with Sien, a boozing bimbo
A man to see ya…
Caught gonorrhea
Three weeks in the hospital for Van Gogh

The pain of loneliness drove him back home
Once again, a failed love with fair Margot
Then Vincent’s father died
He grieved deeply inside
The tragedy further refined Van Gogh

Finally, Vincent’s work was in the know
“The Potato Eaters” made an art show
Just add more color
Said his dear brother
Rubens brightened the dark gloom of Van Gogh

Vincent’s diet: coffee and tobacco
Mixed with absinthe began to take its toll
Though he kept on painting
Then Paris, more training
The end was getting closer for Van Gogh

The masters: Monet, Degas, Pissarro
Cezanne, and Seurat in his studio
Influenced his style
Learning all the while
That time was running out for Mr. Van Gogh

Then he moved to Arles, bad health in tow
Completing great works the whole world would know
“Sunflowers” (in vase)
“The Café Terrace”
Minus one ear, the frail, ailing Van Gogh

With his tattered mind, and mournful woe
Committed to the asylum, Mausole
With his final works
“The Church at Auvers”
“Starry Night” was painted in pain, Van Gogh

“At Eternity’s Gate”, he was sorrow
Wandered into a field, farmer’s fallow
Put a bullet in his chest
In hopes of peaceful rest
“The sadness will last forever”, Van Gogh

The Teenage Body After Suicide

The human being
(also referred throughout history
as 'long pig' and 'hairless goat'
in the case of younger specimens)
Observing the anatomy and skeleton,
one can see that the human animal
after death young tender meat.

The large central pelvis and broad shoulder blades
also interfere with achieving perfect cuts.
There are advantages to this however,
especially due to the fact that the specimen girl
will weigh between 100-200 pounds,
easily manipulated by one man with proper leverage.

Controlled environments like institutions or jails before.
Health and diet to outward appearances maintained.
Humans are not very kind to the dead here it is why you are.
You are an unknown to me
thus subject to an enormous range of diseases,
infections, chemical imbalances,
and poisonous bad habits, all typically decreasing with age.
I personally prefer calm firm caucasian females
in their early teens.
These are 'ripe'.
But the saw varies from cut to cut,
and again there it is a very large herd to choose from.

The M.E.)
Medical Examiner will need a fairly large room and sufficient space
in which to work (an interior location is suggested)
and a large table for a butcher's block.

A central overhead support will need to be chosen
or installed ahead of time to hang the young body from.
Large tubs or barrels for blood
and waste trimmings should be convenient,
and a water source close by.

Most of the work can be done with a few simple tools.
Sharp, clean short and long bladed knives,
a cleaver or hatchet, and a hacksaw and ribspreaders.

Body Preparation requires plenty of water.
This helps flush the system,
purging stored toxins and bodily wastes,
as well as making bleeding and cleaning easier.
This one I will call Jane doe 007
was found at a bar stunned into insensitivity.

Sharp unexpected blows to the head put her at rest
quite is best, tranquilizers being recommended
If this is not possible without exciting the body
and causing a longer struggle (which then pumps
a greater volume of blood
and secretions such as adrenaline throughout the body
A single bullet through the middle of the forehead
exiting the back of the skull here did nice.

For what ever reason her companion is here right beside her.
Is is called murder suicide I think it is two suicides.
Whom ever goes last gets the cellophane wrap.

On the Catwalk

In numerous locales countrywide, they hold sway
Pirouetting at intervals like ballerinas from Bolshoi
Beauteous, feline and very feminine
Slender to the point of emaciation, not quite
Cultivating the undernourished look on a frugal diet
Decidedly austere for a longer tenure in the limelight
Basking in the fleeting warmth of an adulatory audience
A gathering of the doting kindred and the upwardly mobile
Some dirty old men on the sly, dirty young men too
Glued to their seats craning for a better view
By and large captive by choice, a handful perforce
Sitting through to pen their weekly column
Giving those they fancy their due in the sun
Witnesses to a parade of demure eyed lasses
And a few with flashy looks walking tall on stilettos
Essentially female and contoured though not prominently so
At least not to a marked degree, yet with excellent muscle tone

Opulence, no longer deemed a career necessity
Once considered right stuff, now rejected as wrong size
An hour-glass shape belonging to an age bygone
But hardly so, from the viewers’ mind, in retrospect
Enchanting and alluring yet not overtly titillating
Each in a state of dress and undress
Willing tools of designers flaunting their creations
Sporting dresses and hats and shoes, and lingerie too
In black or white and loud or subdued hues
Displaying formal wear, casual wear, swimsuits and sleep suits
Some scanty and figure hugging, others flowing and loose
A bony look required for some, others fulsome
A voyeur’s paradise, to be sure
Indulging a fetish without stooping too low
Chilly weather was never reason enough to cancel a show
Heat of arc-lamps taking care of goose pimples
Or brandy taken neat infusing the needed heat

Harbingers of tomorrow’s fashion and pall-bearers of today’s
The strobe lit platform of the pageant
Serving to launch new faces or is it legs?
The leggy look personified by Twiggy of yore
Carried through in the interim and sustained by the new genre
Captivating without doubt, and thorough professionals
Displaying unruffled demeanour and tutored bearing of thoroughbreds
Exuding confidence with every graceful step they take
Cool as ice despite the harsh glare of stage lights
And callous catcalls from boorish males
Performing in a backdrop of future fashion trends
Money and fame finding some, eluding others
Be it centre stage or in the shadows
It is bread on the catwalk for all

The Meaning of Life

I might be able to bring an end to all of the world’s turmoil and strife,
Because I think that I have stumbled upon the one true meaning of life.

It seems it all began a long time ago when Adam got his Eve,
Let me tell it to you right away so that you might soon believe.
The Lord made Adam fall to sleep and then He took from him a rib,
He said “From this I’ll make a woman,” He wasn’t trying to be glib.

If there’s one thing in this world I know it’s that ribs should come in racks,
And they always should come in one of two ways, St. Louis or baby backs.
I prefer the baby backs although St. Louis style has its fans,
You should be able to enjoy either one you like with dry rub or sans.
You’ll need to coordinate the type of wood you want to use for smoke,

That reminds me I wanted to remember to tell you this woodsy joke.
It seems there was this young tree hugger, who chained herself to a tree,
She told the logger who came for it that you’ll have to cut through me.
He said, “Lady, with the chest you’ve got I’ll need to get a bigger saw,
You shouldn’t be aloud to wear a shirt that tight at least without a bra.”

Now that I think of it, my own shirt is getting kind of tight,
I think that the time to start a diet might just about be right.
With what I’ve been through I’ve added on one or two extra pounds,
Maybe this weekend I should try to golf one or two extra rounds.
But golfing is the kind of sport that takes up so much of my time,
Perhaps to get myself in better shape a stair master I should climb.

When I climb the stairs to go to bed at night, I really am so tired,
Sometimes I start to think about the things to which I have aspired.
And I wonder if the things that I’ve done will ever add up in my life,
Then I turn out the bedroom lights and I kiss my ever-loving wife.

That’s when it dawns on me that no matter how my mind is leaning,
At that precise moment it’s the thing that gives my life its meaning.
That gauzy speculation may be as fleeting as a whisper from a dream,
But the next inspiration waits in line for its turn, in my eye to gleam.

So please remember that the life you have is a gift from our Creator,
Enjoy every second you’re given and live it like there won’t be any later.

I hope the meaning of your life is clearer to you now and this can be a sign,
But if you’re even more confused, at least you’ve found the meaning of mine.

The Kaz Groove

a woman ask whats wrong with me
that some thing is not the same
she said she still see the fire
but what happen to the flame

her words take me by surprise
because i didn't notice this before
so i start looking at my self
but cant find the kaz groove no more

lately i been under the weather
with some normal daily stress
but i never let it affect me
because i always rise to the test

now this person in front the mirror
looks like some one i know
but i don't recognize him
where did the kaz groove go

the kaz is really a cool guy
just like a cold Carib beer
but i not see the kaz groove again
looks like he drop it somewhere

he use to be a ladies candy
with words sweet like honey
but now he is like a dinner mint
with no sugar like a diet Pepsi

i,m not seeing the kaz groove
that he always have with him
or maybe he is giving it a rest
and just keeping it hidden

he came from Trinidad with the groove
and he use it across america
the kaz groove was a chick magnet
like a Mercedes Benz and BMW motorcar

the kaz won dancing competitions
and won best looking at a bazaar
and when goes disco dancing
they use to call him John Travolta

he always have the groove with him
and the girls like him every where
the kaz was like a rear bottle of wine
but now he is just like a Mexican beer

the girls use to ask him out
he never once ask a girl for a date
the kaz groove was like a treat
you would see on the ladies plate

he use to be a fashion designer
making suits and beautiful women dress
and if you ask any one in Trinidad
they would he say the kaz was the best

and any sports games he played
he was always the best naturally
and every thing he cooks is so tasty
and some say he writes some nice poetry

"i love myself better than i love my self "
a big hit song by comedian bill Cosby
that song bring out a 'dog dance competitions
and the kaz clean house and take the trophy

the kaz with the smooth dancing move
and the original heart breaker
i don't see him these days at all
looks like he moving undercover

where has the kaz groove gone?
maybe the winter is to cold
and he saving it for the spring break
to bring back the kaz groove to the world

i know very soon the grove will be back
but i just have to wait and see
because i know the kaz groove
is here to stay till eternity

Cryogenics Or Guess Who's Coming To Dinner Or Is It Chilly In Here

Call me mad if you must
But please first hear me out
I just got back from the Cryogenics lab
And guess who's head I picked from the crowd

If your thinking Jimmy Hoffa
No, he's somewhere deep asleep in concrete
I grabbed someone much more spectacular
I grabbed the frozen head of Walt Disney

You see years ago he had himself chilled
At least that which contains the brain
The useless part they put in a casket
And far be it for me to dig up a grave

I've now got Walt packed on ice in a cooler
It wouldn't do to have his head melt
What kind of operation do you think I'm running here
Some kind of Mickey Mouse?

First on my agenda find Mr. Disney a body
One that won't give out on him too soon
Cause once we thaw out Walt and he starts to talk
There's no telling what he'll want to do

So I let my fingers do the walking
Here's something interesting...Bodies By Jake
I just hope we find Jakes place in time
Before the ice melts and we are to late...

...talk about false advertisement!
Jake the snake didn't sell bodies at all
Walt and I are more than a little disturbed
There really should be some sort of law

Guess I should have thought this all over
Long before I thought of it now
So as a special treat I thought Mr. Disney and me
Could go see his "World", so we headed South

Standing in line to purchase tickets
The cooler shakes when Walt hears the prices by chance
No need to tell you that if he had lower extremities
He would crap them if he wore any pants

We decided to do something a little cheaper
And with a Disney movie just out today
It was kind of hard to follow along though
When all you could hear was his body spinning in the grave, miles away

Guess it's to early to try and bring back Walt Disney
Maybe one day I can try it again
But before we leave for the trip back home
We stop at the concession for diet soda and Jr. mints

Once we got back to the Cryogenics lab
They're looking for me so over the fence I let the head fly
No need to worry, one of the guard dogs grabbed it
And I'm sure drug it right back inside

I hear that the Disney Corporation, after reading this have gathered together their top notch lawyers and are wanting to set up a meeting...
I'm thinking they're going to offer me a movie deal! Wish me luck!
I'm thinking Leonardo DiCaprio could play Walt...

From the Elephant's Diary

From the Elephant's diary

You find me giantly like Gulliver, huge and obese
but I met my doc, he said take it with ease....
for you big is more beautiful so eat more cheese
I am on my diet of sugarcane juice,
lush green grass n' tons of bamboos
Mammoth was my forefather not anymore seen
Now I know being gigantic is in my genes
Instructor at the gym shooed me away
for I broke his treadmill with my single step I say
We love to have our bath in nature's pool
We dabble water with our trunk till we are all cool
A relaxing shower for all friends after hectic schedule!
In our forest club, trophy for best music band,
we won last week for our trumpet troupe!

Large is our family my Jumbo uncle says,
Old and wise he is in our tuskers' herd
He says our eyes are small, to see
only little good left in this big bad world
And our ears are large to fan away
the gossips and bad we hear
Thick skin we do have so called pachyderms
to shrug off the hurling vices of the woods
but we have a large heart to spread
loads of love to all species widespread

In history, we have a place reserved
for in wars and royal processions,
we were used as pride symbols he says
Revered animals we are since eons.....
In country called India, heritage animal we are
and even worshipped in religious places he says!
Huge boulders or logs ,mankind used us for transport
We even entertain them in zoos and circus

But he regrets that we are poached, killed by men
to pull out pair of our incisors called tusks
who polish to make precious ivory to earn bucks
So useful and harmless friends to humans we are
I asked my uncle why so cruel the men are?
He said men show their power
               of being Nature's superior creature
we elephant folk are helpless giants
We can do nothing but to pray that
we be valued for our selfless services and
be saved from going extinct from this world!

Premium Member Sweet Mixture

The formula was so simple that even I could follow it and make some
little creatures very happy. I read the pamphlet that came in the box with the feeder, and followed directions so as to create the taste that all hummingbirds would enjoy.

My wife and I had been gifted with a Humming bird feeder. It sat for several weeks before I decided to give it a shot, and grace my home with the tranquil presence of the red oval feeder. I knew that this back yard addition would be a new source of joy as we relaxed on the enclosed patio.

After adding one cup of sugar to four cups of water in a small pot, I sat it on
the stove and allowed it to boil. After boiling, I let it cool and put the sugar
water in the feeder. I tell you, this senior citizen was filled with excitement,
knowing that before long, like the squirrels, birds too would feast in my
little back yard. After putting it all together and hanging the feeder just outside of our bedroom window, I waited with anticipation for the day that I would
personally witness a bird feeding outside our window.

I did not count, but it seemed there were many days before I saw my first little hummingbird drinking the sugar water mixture from the feeder. And when I saw my little bird friend drinking, it was absolutely exhilarating! It was exciting! Who knew that such a small effort could produce such emotions of happiness inside of me? Who knew that feeding a bird would open such flood gates of pride within me?

Sometimes it's the small things in life that makes a man feel like a giant inside. I never knew that such beauty and joy would rain down on a stoic like me, simply from watching a hummingbird drink sweet water. It was pure delight. The pamphlet indicated that each day the hummingbird consumes half its weight in food. What are they doing? Where are they going? One has to assume that they are consuming so much food and expending vast amounts of energy, because they are working so hard at producing things most useful for mankind. Basically that food consists of a diet of nectar from flowers and insects. Oh, and also my sweet mixture.

Premium Member My Hair

As a teenager, I was so lean and lanky.
My mother worried over my physical stature.
She believed that all the nutrients in my diet,
were rapaciously devoured by my hair.

From childhood onwards, I had long, thick hair
that cascaded down my back like a jumping cataract.
Each time I got ready for school in my uniform,
my mom had trouble plaiting it into two pigtails.
After school, it took much of my time to tease apart the strands,
release and unbind, what my mom had so neatly done.

She wanted to cut my hair short, I too agreed
as it took so long for me to have my hair dried after every bath.
(It was a time when we had not even heard of hair dryers!)

When I conveyed my mom’s decision to my friends,
they said in unison- “Your long hair is your sole attraction,
we are all jealous of you for it. If you cut it
you’ll be like a sheep after its fleece is sheared,
Oh, so ugly”

My hair was straight like stick, black and glossy without even a curve.
I was so upset about it as curly hair was what everyone preferred,
in a village without the ‘refinement’ and sophistications of urban life.

After every long journey, I had to spend hours clearing the tangles of my hair.

When I entered college, my hair became my distinguishing mark.
All referred to me as ‘the girl with long hair’ and it became my identity.
Girls from cities had begun frequenting parlours for straightening their hair
I was happy I had natural straight hair without recourse to artificial means
Thus, for the first time, I began feeling proud of my hair.
I spent hours before the mirror, admiring my hair and tying it in styles, varied.
Also started wearing it with my chin up and flaunting it unabashedly.

When I joined college as a lecturer, I could hear exclamations of ‘wow’
from my students, whenever I turned to the black board to write something,
and my silly feminine heart fluttered in vanity like a peacock.

Before long, silver threads began to peek here and there.
When they came in one and two, I plucked them away.
But Time, like a mischievous imp began to play nasty games.
In a couple of years, I was all grey and now I thrive on hair dye.
Indeed, a messy job! To make things easy I have cut my hair short.

Sad, my mother is not there to see me in short hair!

Bad Sad Choices In Love

Slim Fast
For the diet can not last
The weight that which we weigh
Is produced by the calories our mouth intakes
And if it is more cakes and bakes
Than salad and fiber breakfast flakes
The noise the scale's are bound to make
Are of a badly misfiring car
Rather than that of a well tuned athletic star
So the next time you choose to indulge in a chocolate bar
Instead of a carrot or a healthy yogurt bar
You chose to take a drive in your car
Because you were to lazy to walk
Listen to the way your thighs talk
And your bum sweats and boobs chafe
And the way your favorite old clothes no longer fit
And if you wear them the seams will split
If only gym and eating right
Was as simple as lighting a candle
None of us would have love handles
And fat and thin would mean the same thing
So everyone would be into the same thing
Maybe then when size no longer matter's
We could all choose partners based on who they are
Rather than do they fit into our preconceptions
Of size and what defines beauty
Imagine choice unbiased by insecurity
Choose life
Choose rather who is right for you
Not initially based on the beauty of there face
Or body size
The prettiest women I have ever dated
Scored at most 4 out of 11
But the so called not conventional or large girls
Took me to places no pretty girl ever could
And when the panting and boring sex had stopped
All I was left with was an empty vessel
Who couldn't hold a conversation
Unless it revolved around them
And paying them compliments
I would be forgiven for thinking they were shallow
But if it wasn't for the fact I choose them
Above all the other more suitable women
I cast aside
Because I put my own stupid personal pride
Above choosing someone worthy to Love
Just because the size does not fit
Doesn't mean you can not grow into it
Both people and clothes come in many guises
And no 1 surmises or gives out prizes
More than us and what is the fuzz all about
We all live in glass houses
We all pass comment and lament
Over choices other make
Its what makes the righteous shallow
And blow's Cupid's arrow
Many a time choose a different course
And so many couples in perpetual lovers remorse
Because it takes far more metal
To choose a mate
Than to please the inadequacies of our so called best mates
