BILLY the Kid's Great Escape.

"Word has it you said that if we ever met again you'd kill me on the spot.
Well here I am Kid. Now's your chance. Show me what you've got.
It's a shame that you'll hang in another week or two,
because I'd love to be the one who gets to kill you.
I've got 16 silver dimes in each barrel of my shotgun.
I'd love to try them out on you, but I can't unless you run.
If I free you from those chains will you run for the door?
Oh by the way Kid, your Ma was one sweet loving whore.
I'll kill you before you hang Kid. That's a sure bet."
"Be careful Bob," said the Kid, "I'm not hung yet.
" Bob thrusted his shotgun hard into Billy's gut.
The Kid looked up at him in pain and said, "Now what?"
"Don't do it Bob," Bell said angrily, "or you'll be the one who'll hang for sure
for killing a man in cold blood who was chained helplessly to the floor.
It's time for the other prisoners to be escorted across the street to be fed.
The Kid's not going anywhere. He's chained to the floor by his bed.
Anyway, I took the prisoners last so now it's your turn.
Go and have yourself a beer and I'll stay here and guard the Kid until you return.
Bob Ollinger placed his shotgun into the gun rack.
Before he left he said to Billy, "I'll see you when I get back."
No one can say for sure if the above dialog ever truly took place.
One thing's for sure. Ollinger tormented Billy at a merciless endless pace.
They were arch enemies who fought against each other during the Lincoln County War.
Ollinger was in the posse that killed John Tunstall, Billy's employer, friend and mentor.
"I have to use the outhouse Bell," Billy said to the deputy.
Bell kept his rifle trained on Billy as he tossed him the key.
Billy unlocked the chains that kept him bound to the floor.
Still in handcuffs and leg irons, Bell escorted Billy out the door.

Premium Member EGG NOG DRUNK SANTA

He tied the booze all on
You read it right
Christmas Eve night
Grandma can be very persuasive
She got Santa to indulge in a drink
Grandma stated, “Santa was hers for tonight, and kids will have to wait
Heaven’s sake
Santa was going to be her date
Santa was sipping Egg Nog in taste being a sip and completely under its spell
Flat out drunk
To make matters worse, Grandma baked rum cookies full of rum
Santa tied it on
What would Ms. Claus say if she knew or witnessed?
That’s another story
Grandma and Santa both drunk
I see why Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Santa has double parked his sleigh with the reindeers
Now city trouble could erupt.

Santa has that night ride, but he is so drunk, he can’t steer and disoriented
He can’t maneuver and be drunk
The principle is for cars will be for steering sleighs
Santa doesn’t even remember that it is Christmas eve and his mission is to the kids all around the world
Grandma wanted Santa’s full attention
How is that possible when they both were drunk
They both crashed on the living room couch knocked out
Santa was in no position even move himself
Grandma’s idea of dash was falling asleep
Santa definitely would be warm in the winter night
His temperature was beyond the norm
Hate to sound like a I love Lucy dialog, but I have a plan
I will be Santa tonight in taking Santa’s place
I can’t let any child be disappointed
Alright reindeer, prepare to fly
Pursue together
Don’t look at me like I am crazy
I am desperate
Off into the night skies
Winter winds who are wise
Let us maneuver without delay
I will explain to Santa after this day
Merry Christmas to all to all, you know the rest.

Who

Who Do you share your dreams with
Who do you tell how you really feel
Cause it's not me
Who Do you whisper sweet nothings too
I have to wonder who
We speak everyday yet I know nothing at all
and if I find out it's from your FB dialog
but somebody gets the convo
 the laughs the encouraging word
Silly of me I tell it all
but a conversation is two way
guess I'll have to learn
clueless I must be
and now I SMH at myself
so desperate for attention
so desperate for affection
wanting to be loved
I got lost in the winds
Even with the lack of words I got lost
Caught in the thoughts the fantasy
My made up little world
Please somebody come get this silly lil girl
So trusting wanting to believe
That love can conquer anything
Time.... distance..... even fears
My made up reality
Guess my bubble just got bust

Premium Member Act Of Defiance

All at once I absquatulated,
in hindsight now I know why.
The craziness simply escalated,
I no longer held the desire to try.

The pellucid message in silence
is a fierce strong-arm motivator.
Sucked into an act of defiance,
I will not indulge an instigator.

Speaking with a cogent message
I have expunged every syllable.
With no words I have set the stage
for a civil dialog to be permissible.

Now it’s your turn to open it up,
apply for a little bit of restitution.
You must swallow your pride cup
if you want to apply for absolution.

Time to become a showstopper,
no need to be unruly or obscene.
I say ‘Be wise my little grasshopper,
there is more than one jelly bean.’

The Greatest Failure

Perhaps the greatest failure of all time
occurred in the last 100 years,
with no fanfare or remorse
and little discussion in high places.

The possibility for the human race
to raise itself with better health
and longer life has been squandered,
by destructive behavior and ignorance.

People have fallen into a state,
where false social media posts
and advertisements
change opinions and behavior.

Stupor prevails on couches and chairs,
during long evenings in front of cell phones and TV’s,
full of senseless dialog and flirtation,
with advertising designed to corrupt.

The next day is different for these electronic novitiates,
who eat and buy what they’re told,
without regard for impact on health
or how it affects longevity.

A desire for processed and fast foods
reaches a peak following clever advertisements,
and bodies are assaulted with sugar and chemicals
void of fiber, enzymes and vitamins.

Tobacco, alcohol and other destructive products
fill shopping carts and shorten lives,
while pharmacies pump out high priced counter measures,
in an effort to reverse the tragedy.

Lifespans are shortened by this stupor,
and no one seems to care,
as weight increases and mental health decreases
to the masses sitting in front of screens.

This colossal failure will be recorded
in history books someday.
Children will ask how it happened,
and no one will have an answer.

Funkmosphere

Booty beats from tomb slapping funkier bass,
rhythms to a spherical time in chic confess.
Slick elegance rhymes to fast timing,
wua wua references clear defining.
Dialog in electronic sound design,
funk happens for all of us therein.
Parliament funkadelic renegade,
riding in that old funky rolls to separate.
Committing funky crime against the state of soul,
mix the funk into the rhythm and it will not fade.
High on funk from the bottom and splendor of thing,
funky release of natural essence within.
Amorphous effusive impulse component,
and sweet sweaty antidepressant.
Ramification in that state of mind to funk,
blues road and gospel bell out of sorrow strung.

Premium Member When Rhett Said That He Didn'T Give a Damn

When Rhett said that he didn’t give a damn
to Scarlett in that famed scene we all know,
it was a little scandalous back then
to hear that damn word at the movie show!

Who said the bad word first?. . . It shouldn’t matter
on whom that strange distinction was bestowed.
The world was changing. Right around the corner
Rock and Roll was ready to explode!

And even long before “Gone With the Wind,”
words much more vulgar had through history
been used by folks in nearly every culture
in every level of society!

Good taste and etiquette still do remain
among the educated, yet a gang
of thugs inside a movie would sound lame
with dialog like “I don’t give a dang!”

Premium Member Northern Landscape

This is what created us. This light,
dappling the columned forests with petaled gold,
these nourishing and nourished streams, these bright
sun-laughing lakes, ruffling under an old
and infant wind, this intercourse of pine,
air, beam, mulch, bough, loam, moisture, say we fit
into the mothering niche of this design.
This does not belong to us: we belong to it.
If there can be a god, that god must be
what we are made to live for and within;
so in this pure cathedral we may see
our earth-determined being, and begin
to learn that we are water, light, and air:
our breath is homage, and our heartbeat prayer.

A random comment on poetry in general: All American poetry is a dialog between Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman.

Walking down the Great White Broadway Lane
The marquee street
That just came be beat
Some say I could be lame
The dialog of having pride
As the music started to pump up
A reason to sing came
Now hold your ears, they might pop
A dream came true
It was a wonder if I should pursue
It was years in the thinking
A one day to entertain
My inspiring heart that will remain
But there’s more
A need for Acting to explore
At some point, acting came to life
I succeeded without any advice
But it would have been nice
I alone with a multitude cast with sing and acting on the wide stage
Amazement
A dream began to unfold
Let me assure you, I didn’t need to be told
Just bold
My father was an Alcoholic all his life
Many days and nights, I would cry urging my dad to quit
Words of encouragement just wasn’t it
He would argue with me and stating he wanted to die
He didn’t want to live anymore
Never knew the reason
Eventually, he did pass away
I found out later that he felt like a failure being a father
Being an Alcoholic was not the way
It doesn’t end the battle, but keeps one fighting for more trouble
It’s like a constant fall with consistent stumble
Somewhere and somehow, dad is looking down on me
My dad in me is what people see
Legacy inclined
Stepping out on courage
Entertainment nourishment
Applaud-ish

Socratic Platoisms

he taught simple terms.
simple word usage. he also taught
what was referred to as controversial.
words that had double meaning, and
 words that spelled backward
were precursors to debate.
They called this session of teaching
Word Artricle or References to Wrong
These were the teachings of Platonic Order
a reference to Socrates
not the actual teachings of Socrates but
it was derived from the Fifth Century scholar.
because people who love music
might not think about what
a word spelling might signal or has
potential to cause, it is rightfully sound to show
and or teach an individual what might
be causing him trouble.
the word drum is an middle eastern word
derived from the
Low German word Tromme. But in english
when spelling the word backwards
the word is murd.
A violin has a beautiful sound, but does
a violin come from. Violin comes from
the Italian word viola or Violin
which also describes the sun.
the word violence.
Some people believe both the violin
and drum means that violence is being
referred to in the music the person is describing.
the meaning of the exercise is to warn those
partake in musical exercise or those who think
that people use music to set a mood are talking
to you trying to convey a message.
Does one need to refer to his lack of Urban
 sense or Urban Etiquette when
it comes to the music of choose.
Those country evenings with a fiddle and a band are warnings?
or are they engaging evenings of collabarted enjoyments?
The mocking Seriously or a Platonic Dialog?
Whist than is either:
that the latter is most appealing.
