Down In the Valley

Down in the valley of memories I go
searching for pieces of yesterdays past
looking for you and your eyes all aglow
down in the valley of grief fast in-toe

August remembers the flowers of May
September arrives and they all must go
mother I miss you your smile and u'r ray
August remembers, your liveliest day

Daughters are prone to exist at pure will
reaching for mothers and their special touch
you are in heaven, and I need you still
daughters are prone to love with- so much

Down in the valley of memories I go
looking for this and for that - yes I know
you went up to live in God's Holy lair
but I want you to know, that I care .

The echoes of that day,
Choke the flow of moving on.
Tattered memories...encased,
...of loved ones who have forgone.

We miss our sons and daughters,
But the Good Lord called them home.
We must embrace Thy course of time,
For the winds of change have blown.

Though America still weeps,
We’re still the home of the brave.
I’m proud to be from this land,
Where the flag still proudly waves.

Crime Against Humanity

Crime Against Humanity
Violence's the human disposition
of last resort
Check the talk, skew the walk,
in the court of popular, Christ wasn't
soft
Lunge at his daughters killer, man
tries to soothe his heart
Of senseless violence, the mass
destruction that is so off
Unhinged sensation in the minds
of feeble men
Lack justification for wantonly
killing our fellow human
Tales of past exploit regale history
And taught in class
The next monster seeps,
already the tear of the family sear deep
Justice they seek
but, the wheel of repeat has dug
its teeth
and save except a monumental
effort to retrace our step
that bright light of progress will
be bloodied humanity crimes
regret.

Premium Member Misfortunes of War and Beyond No More

The price we pay
For these countries of ours
Battlefield loss
Coffined towers

Daughters and sons
Gunned down
Patriotic souls
Perish, under Nature's sun

Terrorist war, i cant understand
To fight each other, my thoughts bland
Muslim, Sunni or Shiite Bro's
Severe grudge, Suicide blows

No faith, can comprehend
The sender of this degenerate send
Martyr's picked, soon forgotten
As the world denounces, faiths so rotten

West Bank, Basra, Baghdad too
Exhibits in this modern Zoo
Kill your neighbour, slay a friend
On the news, images send

Close to home these cowards strike
Maim and kill, their consience wiped
Off to where they are supposed to go
Forever land, where nothing flows

If faith exists on this magic land
Would what you see, be in its plan
To do what we do, and think it's best
All faiths would be, under arrest

If we are all under the one
So many wrongs have humans brung
For this Highlander to understand
Who is indeed, in charge of this land

Before you answer, please observe
To actually who, do humans serve
So many idols, are they human made
Whose do we walk, on earths esplanade

The answer is there for all to know
Open minds, allow the flow
It may not be, what you think it's been
It may be around you, everyday seen

Nature, nature in your might
Observe this planet, in your sight
Render wrongs, display whats true
Remind your tribes, what they should do

Way back then, explosion new
The cycle of me and you
If we don't understand what we are here for

The Most Important Thing in Life

What is the most important Thing in Life?
Some say Love, Some say Sex, Some say Money and or riches.
Some say all manner of material things.
What is your most important Posession?
When I ask my friends this question
One said-  a good legacy.
Some said their bank account.
Some said their faith in God.
Some said my house, Some said my car, some said my wife/marriage/woman.
One said my girls/women. One said my children/daughters.
I say the most important thing in life, indeed one's most important psossession,
Is ones passion to help others, one's ability and or tenacity or will or determination or capacity or capability or proclivity or consistency or inclination or freedom to be kind.
Kind to yourself and to others.
As a matter of argument, I would rate such immaterial or immaterialistic things/values as Peace, Peacefulness, Love, Honesty, Justice close behind.

Premium Member Prayer Fast-

In prayer with one of God's Daughter;
Awaiting His blessing to behold;
In prayer with one of God's Daughters;
Praying for all to be well;

 we are praying for a refreshing power
Praying for renewal of mind;
Praying for power and spiritual blessings;
Halle- Hallelujah;

In prayer with my Sister one of God's Daughters;
Fasting and Believing awaiting the receiving;
In prayer we stand, we stay;
Praying for all to be well;
No one knows, but us and God;

 we are praying for a refreshing power
Praying for renewal of mind;
Praying for power and spiritual blessings;
Halle- Hallelujah;

Oh, oh, wooH, deliver her Lord, my God for those things she spoke of;
And Healing of your world, this land;
Redeem us Father God give us another chance to see your grace and love;

In prayer with my Sister one of God's Daughters;
Fasting and Believing awaiting the receiving;
In prayer we stand, we stay;
Praying for all to be well;
No one knows, but us and God;

 we are praying for a refreshing power
Praying for renewal of mind;
Praying for power and spiritual blessings;

Premium Member Merry Christmas Thank You Jesus

Used to be a decorating diva, spent days making my house Christmas.
Twenty years back I realized what a bad place un-decorating landed me.
Putting away spirit was a three day job, and put me in the worst mood.
I gave away almost all of my Christmas decorations -reindeer, elves.

I breathed a sigh of joy as they left my house, realizing I was “free” at last!
I continued decorating a giant Christmas tree for about five years.
Then one of my daughters asked for it, and I was glad to see it go.
I gave her tree decorations too; it felt like an ape had leapt from my back.

A twinkling fiber optic Christmas tree has been in my house three years.
My husband usually asks “can we put it down now?” in June or July.
I am never taking it down. It puts me in Christmas mode year round.
Reminding me that every day should be “Merry Christmas, good will to men, and thank you Lord Jesus.”

war what for

In our world we're always at war,
fighting sometimes we don't know what for,
thousands die that are fathers, and brothers,
sons, daughters, sisters and mothers,
They're shooting at someone whose younger than them,
who's life just began and nows going to end,
Why does so many people have to die in a war,
cause two men can't agree and dont know what for,
It takes thousands to die for them to talk peace,
and asking the other for their fire to cease,
But it's a waste of time cuz they agreed on it all,
except for something dumb like a nickel and wall
 So thousands will die for this war they made up,
for reasons madeup, and all made up by corrupt,
 Started a war, tell you fight not what for,
make a fortune selling weapons from their online store,
 What's sad and corrupt and will never be right,
the weapons they sell to their enemies we fight,
 The thousands who died getting shot suicide,
died for men they didn't even know lied
 Next time they talk war let's turn it around, let
these leaders fight each other til one's dead on
 the ground.
 If we made that a law, there'd be no more war at all,
cause these leaders will think twice when it's there life that might fall.

Premium Member Monster

Once the religious, the hunted and weary
chasing the promise of freedom and hope
came to this country to build a new vision
far from the reaches of kingdom and pope.
Like good Christians, some would burn the witches.
Later some got slaves to gather riches,
Once the ties with the crown had been broken
westward in saddle and wagon we went.
Until the railroad linked ocean to ocean,
many the lives which had come to an end.
While we bullied, stole and bought our a homeland,
we began the slaughter of the red man,
but still from near and far to seek America
they came by thousands to court the wild
and she just patiently smiled and bore a child
to be their spirit and guiding light.
The blue and gray they stomped it,
they kicked it just like a dog,
and when the war was over
they stuffed it just like a hog.
Although the past had it's share of injustice,
kind was the spirit in many a way,
but it's protectors and friends have been sleeping,
Now it's a monster and will not obey.
The spirit, it was freedom and justice
and it's keepers seemed generous and kind.
It's leaders were supposed to serve the country
but now they don't pay it any mind
because the people grew fat and got lazy.
Now their vote is a meaningless joke.
We babble about law and order,
but it's all just an echo of what we've been told.
The cities have turned into jungles
and corruption is strangling the land.
The police force is watching the people.
and the people just can't understand,
that we don't know how to mind our own business
because the whole world has to be just like us.
Now we are fighting a war over there
and no matter whose the winner, we can't pay the cost,
because there's a monster on the loose
and it's got our heads inside a noose.
America, where are you now?
Don't you care about your sons and daughters?
Don't you know that we need you now?
We can't fight alone against the monster.
