When I chose to be a witch, I gave up true love
I love to be alone, 'cause eventually people really bug

There is too many mind-games & selfishness in humanity
Thanks, but no thanks - I wanna keep my sanity

Everyone's always in it in the end for just themselves
There are way too many far too gone - they can't be helped

I believe that those that do not bring to the table - don't play
And when the times get rough - they never do stay

When bickering begins, there's much too much of each other
(I'm sure you wish you were doing another)

Like she once told me - when the cat is given - they change
But once you catch on - they then become enraged

If it's not their way, it's no way at all
(Says the motherfvcker, too afraid to fall)

Love is oh so temporary - and only convenient for the moment
If it's gonna be forever in your eyes - then fvcking show it

Compromise, show attentiveness - do little things
'Cause everyone knows what a healthy companionship brings

Quit going into something new - thinking they're like your ex
Why not give everyone new a chance - then see what's next?

My Visitor

The devil knocked on my door this morning, but I didn't let him in. He cursed at me, I smiled then waved, he grinned. I'll be back, he replied. Instead of me saying a blessing, I slipped him a finger as he strolled by. I shouldn't have done that I thought, as he turned the corner so teed off. Now he really has a reason to come back. Cause I gave it to him as he gave it to me. How devilish was that, the way I acted? Now, I look up... He's back! He knocked even harder this time, mind you he ain't no friend of mine. But he comes here like he is, all dressed up, so debonair. I asked this stranger who are you looking for? He called me by my birth name, Saudia of course. I asked him how do you know me? He stated I waited for you, baited you, earlier when I came through. You teed me off, I said bye. Just until later, I knew, it wouldn't be that long again before I would see you. So here I am to cross you again. Are you going to curse this time, pick up something, strike with a blow from behind? I said knoll, but I am appalled considering that you came back at all. Never got your name... My name is Jack. Jack of all trades, here to work deals plus persuade. Persuade who? You, he replied. Me? Yes, you... I did it earlier when I stopped through. You could have prayed to God to cast me away, but you chose to curse me, which resulted in your sin... So I'm back to win again. I knew now whom I was dealing with. It wasn't a man named Jack. It was the devil, clear as a love letter. His intentions were bad and he had made me at this point, raging, boiling mad. See he was playing with me and I don't like to be played with. Instead of cursing again, I bowed my head and prayed. Just like that, Jack went away. But he left me an invitation that stated I'll be back someday, play your card right and I might just stay!

My Nice Niece

My favorite nice niece is an eminent engineer,
generous, genial and admirable by behavior.
My nice niece appeared with splendid spirits.
Costly diamond ring reflected rays as gem emits.
I had to appreciate orange dots on her golden gown.
We both visited posh restaurant in the town.
I chose menu and she put the order.
With merriment and delight day was over.
My nice niece embraced me and left.
I stood beside the iris tree at the gate.
Her visit resembled a sparkling iota of sudden joy.
I got the opportune to play with a precious toy.
At night I caught my nice niece in my dream.
Absurd irritable happenings came up, I had to scream.
A cat with kink of rope on neck was chasing me on floor
I yelled and heard my maid to knock ‘Kindly open the door.’

I Was Dead, But Now I'Ve Arisen

I was so thirsty I could've cried,
But, alas, the spring of my soul had long ago ran dry.
I could not even muster a single tear,
Not to relieve my pain, my fear.

I was so hungry no food was ever enough,
I was convinced if I suffered enough my soul would become tough.
I desperately sought some food that slaked my hunger,
The way small amounts filled me when I was younger.

I was so lost I didn't know where to turn,
Where do I go to gain knowledge, to learn?
Why have the years been so unkind,
To my pitiful mind?

I was so divided I didn't know up from down,
Instead of an angel's halo, I demurred to the Devil's crown.
I begged the Devil to have pity,
To allow me to leave his horrid city.

I was so blind I refused to see,
The One who truly loved me.
He did things for me that I chose not to notice,
Yet, all He required from me was loyalty and focus.

Then one morning I had an awakening,
My soul was opened and was God's for the taking.
My eyes were finally opened and I stared about in reverence,
As the rest of the world seemed to look through eyes of deference.

Now there is happiness, now there is light,
And my future is incredibly bright.
Now that I have accepted the One that has always accepted me,
My soul has been set free,
Thank you, Lord, for saving me!

To Man I Married

I know sometimes you wonder why
You think this might all be a lie
But choosing to marry you
Was the best thing I could ever do
You worry all the time
Afraid that I just might find
Someone so much better than you
But after all this time that I could never do
We have come way to far…you and me
And along the way I've come to find we are meant to be
Every day isn't always our best
So many times our love has been put to the test
Yet every time we make it thru
It has shown me our love is so true
And without you I wouldn't and couldn't be here
With you things have become much more clear
You prove to me I made the right choice
And the sound of your voice
Makes everything alright
The way you hold me close at night
Ever since I met you
Though at first I wasn’t sure it was true
I've learned what it really means to be in love
You really are a gift from above
With you I find myself changing in many ways
And with you I want to spend all my days
Nothing more than a blessing you have been
I used not to know how or when
But now that I have you
I feel as if there's nothing I can’t do
You're no longer just the man I chose to marry
When I am weak it is me you carry
You are my strength when I have none
My love, my husband, my darling, my Hun
In my darkest times you are my light
For you I will always fight
To keep us together
Now and Forever
I love you!!!!!

Matters Need No Bother

It no longer matters
Nothing needs be, nothing does
Let nothing bothers
Life is ever simple, simply ask

And indeed I ask... for the impossible
Somehow promising a no how
An askance never yet regrettable
Simply to laugh at what was found

As exposed to the many out there
The difference in cultures no sooner to relate
And life... well, simply ain’t fair
Between God and the Devil, this game of life is well played

Rules meant control, controlled meant ruled
Have you a life as a non-follower?
Yet... no matter the creator, we are forever screwed
Simply... I chose to be my very own ruler

Is there things I bother?
Life never is simple, try to ask
Yet never to matter
I rather have life living to laugh

I was so young at the time that I barely remembered him. A sister younger than me remembers him well which sparked
her to trigger my memory; a most intriguing one I might add. I never knew or heard anyone call his name; but there were two
words uttered by him which appeared to be what he chose to be called.

He was a jolly and gentle man, never sad, nor a bearer of bad news.
He came and went in mystic; was odd, different, and rather eccentric.
He assisted my family in useful chores, and when finished, he'd always say, "Book Closed!" If I should write a book, he would be in it, and I would name him, Mr. Book Closed. Perhaps without pen or paper, he was writing his own book. If his time spent in my community was a chapter, I would have loved to read it.

You too must have met strangers who come along creating lovely memories. When you are young, the years of busyness will probably cloud the likes of 'Book Closed' from your mind. But me thinks that as you age like me, your gentle mind will be most favored by someone like Mr. Book Closed.
Who knows? Perhaps the memory of such a one, who may well be an angel unawares, will flood your latter years with such lovely recalls.

1 reason why

I am the rot beguiling the saccharine summer hue
I am the self in selfish sorrow, sullying the morning dew
Sickened with the mortal blips of emotion
To fall with the fragility of flesh hipped erosion
Hipped bone beneath browned bandage
Honed the hand hither, 'ncase fickle flesh cannot manage
T'stand aground the mortal vantage
Health t'sickness, worn to wear, not to manage, thy
Breath be dragged'n rancid acid, lipped from the dazed haze of exhaustion
She who had not a gun to brandish, but the naval blade o'self-famish
She who chose to awake, who awoke'n self-loathing
Whose body is irate with the dawned dam break of bile
T'overflow mine own organs, and hinder the words of hungered mind
Breaking the tide of the thrum drum pendulum heart
Shalt th'tounge twist rue th'bile duct of recovery
Drool the drivel of a mere reason 'why?'
And retract the bile of thy sickened mind.

I am to drool the drivel, of love from human kind
Im so tired'f this mortal mortuary
In place of mortal mind.

I am the mind that threatens to die.
And i am the mind, prepared to fight.

Trip To Delaware

So much alike though we are twelve years apart
Different father same mother, we are twins
Rebellious, beautiful with a selfless heart

The age nineteen her adulthood now begins
Piercings, ear gauges, tattoos makes a statement
Life so far, inking the story on her skin

A trip to Europe, a week she could have spent
Instead, chose to come visit me for that week
We had a blast together, she seemed content

She is young and I am nearly an antique
I am at the age where I must guide along
From my own experience I can critique

Before her visit we had gone way to long
She plans to move here, this is where she belongs.

Self Portrait

I will start with using my hand as a guide
And in the end I will open my eyes that I will decide

I consider to do this with one thing in mind
I will close my eyes and will imagine it blind
With no colors or fractionation of the light
Just plain me and a vision with my hand as my sight

My hair is very coarse and some what fine
What I just described is so benign
I twirl my hair and make it bend
And I will say its very clean not oily on the ends

As I press on my forehead I simply feel a distinct part
I notice from hair to skin it is very different from the start
The simple partings from hair not like skin
I am going to feel with my other hand and begin

The smoothness of my skin like years of water eroding a rough rock surface smooth
Not just that my skin is like home to years of stories like scars and attitude
And when I raise my eyebrows the wrinkles it makes is more so for expression
I did not notice it with certain ideas, thoughts, and emotions

I run my hands down to my eyelids I feel movement of my eyes trying to peek
Eyelids that I have, vibrates with some kind of fear, Why?, that I will seek
Just now as I thought about it a sensation ran through my brain
My eyes is the world to me and that is true and not insane

Myself portrait of me is through my touch for now
But to finish it I will have to open my eyes soon and how
I been in a trance full of so many ideas just with my eyes closed
I run my hand on my nose and lips and I smile who could apposed

The feelings in the tip of my fingers rub on my chin and jaw with care
I do notice roughness of unshaved velcro gripping hair
I skip my ears so I will sneak a feel with my fingers I chose
I notice it is like my nose with cartilage, so I don't suppose

I will now open my eyes that I will use a mirror to see myself
My head is oval shape and my neck is like a stump, please help
My skin is very tan and my eyes are brown with my eyes I see
With all the description with my hands, one sure thing is the same and key

It is the description of measurements that is what my hands and eyes can see me
With a smile I am looking into the mirror and I can describe that I am happy
Myself portrait of me is such a way to get to know myself once more
I will never think it was a waste of time or a bore
