mindless angst mindset

I don’t need you like that at all,
So don’t even bother giving me a call
I don’t want you and that’s that
I’m like a rat that caught the cat…

I should feel the opposite of rage
I should feel the opposite of anger
I should feel like I give instead of get
I should feel happiness instead of regret
Mindless angst got a hold of me
Mindless angst got a hold of me
Right when you told me I couldn’t be free
Right when you uphold me with captivity

I get to you weed you off my mind and I just can’t keep still, keep still, still
I sat on my thumb for hours just to see you leave against my, my will
I’m sorry I let you down
With this pretending smile
I apologize I’m not the one for you
But, you don’t need to want me so badly like you do

I should feel the opposite of rage
I should feel the opposite of anger
I should feel like I give instead of get
I should feel happiness instead of regret
Mindless angst got a hold of me
Mindless angst got a hold of me
Right when you told me I couldn’t be free
Right when you uphold me with captivity

Mindless angst got a hold of me
Mindless angst got a hold of me
I apologize I’m not the one for you
But, you don’t need to want me so badly like you do
I should feel the opposite of anger I bet
I should feel like I give instead of get

Mindless angst…
Give or take…
Mindset ache…
Makes me break
Apart from the start
Like my youthful heart
Torn from being forlorn
I sometimes wish I wasn’t born
Mindless angst…mindlessness makes me hide and descend like a turbulent tide
Makes me feel tribulative hopelessness…deep down, down, down, I drown inside

I’m upset
With this mindset
Deep down inside
Here, I’ll always hide
In shadows
Subside from my side…
And abide here tonight

The Alcoholic

The Alcoholic
Parley poem
Lionel Derbyshire

Dirty dufflecoat wino
Zigzag up the street
Wobble wobble..
Topsy-turvey on the one side
And half past puzzled
His body form
Is out of order
His odour sour
Orphaned at eight
He explained
Never had a chance
Of a lifetime
I am just the formation
Of Adam's forlorn spawn
I the opposite of pleasant
Eat my dinner
On the floor
Without gravy
No one ever
Belled out a
A good word to me
Not even at home
Mine hands were
Cooked on the stove
I was called
The Bastard in the house
And it was painfull
Sensitively he said.

What do you have?
I only have lonely
Never ever heard
I love you
What do you want?
Just cheer from a
Dumb bartender
What do you fear?
The confrontations in
My nightmares
Pardon me..
I am bitter.
Never had a chance
To be a revelant guest
Just a parched alcoholic
Dry in overtime captivity.
I tang of dispair.

I have tiny gravity
But heavy
To hoist..
And a will
Which is lost
This is my lot
He told with
Blue eyes beaming
I am member
Of the human race
And then he laid
Amazing Grace
On my ears.

Premium Member Despair

In my despair,
With all my burdens I could not bear.
A Savior did appear,
I heard Him whisper in my ear.
You are My child,
No longer will you be reviled.
With tears streaming down my face,
No longer will I be a disgrace.
With just a word,
I heard.
With just a touch I became,
More than a name,
I became a flame.
With a message of love,
Given from above.
God sent His son,
To give us victory that will not be undone.
And on that cross,
Which was meant for loss.
There was redemption,
From all our transgression.
With His Blood that was shed,
Out of captivity He led.
We are called to reign,
And forever with Him we will remain.

Water Under the Bridge

I'm still waiting for you to shed some light on me
It's still minutes after midnight and I'm still up, baby
I'm hoping for some helpful answers to the questions
I'm wishing you well in all you do - no more assumptions

Our deepest fears and regrets are now water under the bridge

I'm still waiting for you to shed some light on me
It's a golden opportunity you don't want to miss any time soon
I'm lost in the reminiscences of my hopes and desires beyond marvelous measure
I'm wiping away the sadness debris from your eyes - be enlightened with mere pleasure

Our deepest fears and regrets are now water under the bridge

We're reaching out to the sky of a thousand universes
We're ascending from our haven of miracles and curses
I'm able to see beyond the wreckage of our lives
I'm able to hear beyond the bridge of our secret hives

Our deepest fears and regrets are now water under the bridge

I'm still longing 69 times for the Afterlife to take place on cloud 7 sooner or later
It's something that I've been waiting for for a long period of time - I'm my own savior
I'm pondering about the rough times we used to squander with each other
Now it's a forever blur and I'm bound to be in this cell of your goodbyes and your forever after

Our deepest fears and regrets are now water under the bridge

I'll be delighted to be a prisoner of freedom and triumphantly flutter aimlessly in liberty's captivity
It's as if I've been deceived into loving you and deprived of appreciation - I adore you, even if you are a figment of my imagination or a tale of fiction, my darling; you're my bittersweet reality
I'm wide awake and can't seem to fall asleep
I lay down hopelessly on my pillow and solemnly weep

Our deepest fears and regrets are now water under the bridge

Can you save me from my childish phobias?
Will you hear me out, although I'm full of blemishes and flaws?
Without a flick of doubt, I adore the many shapes of your auras that shine aglow
It fascinates me and it stirs up my curiousity to the max -
I'm still waiting for your sunlit glow, you know?

Our deepest fears and regrets are now rubble under the bridge

September 13 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 43-45

Key Verse – Ezekiel 43:27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

FAITH IN GOD WHO ACCEPTS US

God accepts us … granting eternal salvation to our soul
Indeed, rescuing us from hell’s penalty to make us whole
Keeping our faith on fire against unbelief’s coal
As we stay in His will toward our heavenly goal.

God accepts us … cleansing our heart
Indeed, sanctifying us for great divine start
Keeping our faith secured from Satan’s dart
As we abide in His compassion, never to depart.

God accepts us … freeing us from selfishness-captivity
Indeed, settling us upon His pardon’s certainty
Keeping our faith obedient to His authority
As we follow His commands with sincerity.

God accepts us … welcoming our ministry-involvement’s entrance
Indeed, opening to us stewardship blessings of great assurance
Keeping our faith firm toward service-perseverance
As we labour joyfully with diligent endurance.

God accepts us … guiding us always for walk of holiness
Indeed, guarding us in our works of righteousness
Keeping our faith striving to fight sinfulness
As we cleave to Him midst prayer-steadfastness.

God accepts us … inviting us for triumphant worship
Indeed, instructing us by Your Word along Your discipleship
Keeping our faith anchored upon Your leadership
As we serve Him with His offered partnership.

God accepts us … ensuring us His victory
Indeed, enclosing us within His kingdom’s territory
Keeping our faith declaring His Gospel story
As we thank Him with praises, exalting His glory.

I really have to go

I fled away from your grasp
Confident till I breathe my last and my complacency isn’t vast
I have completely relapsed
Had to relax and satisfy me aside from my mindset of the past

I really have to go…
You don’t know me and you don’t care to
If you loved me so,
You’d be here with me and you’d be you

You trespassed my boundary space
You took away my saving grace…
In front of my face, I feel like a disgrace
I’m keeping pace on this race…

I really have to go…
I have been unappreciative lately
I’m not your sunlit glow
I haven’t let go and let live frankly

Severely slid backwards
I lost my track of words
My thoughts fly like a bird in the sky
I watch them catch clouds, passing by

I cry and I feel so high today
I’m feeling frivolous and full of dismay
I don’t know why I shy away
I’m feeling marvelous and I want that feeling to stay that way…

Mesmerized by your intimacy of illumination
I really have to go on the merry go round of misery’s company
Just to feel glad again…just to feel joy again
I really have to go home but I’m stuck in the bar’s captivity

More of You Less of Me

Loving more to tell you the truth,
You know in your heart what you must do,
Disipline yourself to see,
The intent of your heart, because action proceeds,
Love counteracts fear, it speaks the truth,
Your heart pounds at the sound of what you should do,
It's usually never what you thought, sometimes feelings step aside,
Your heart steps up to plate, fear no longer hides,
It wages war with our feelings, fear keeps in captivity,
It won't come out into the light because in the dark it breeds,
Supressing your heart, adding one fear onto another,
So you will shut your mouth, and your heart altogether,
To make you feel less, to shut out the love,
To make you forget, you are more than enough,
The love you give is never a waste,
Even if some people don't see it that way,
Don't hold back your heart, don't shrink n hide,
God will honor the intent and open your eyes.

For a relatively brief period in their lives,
they touched base with luxuries that they could
ill afford; with culture unallowed by both desire
and time. Their days were spent committing crimes
that fed their addiction to drugs. But at a rehab
center, they were reintroduced to some of the finer
things of life.

Teachings of Christ were at the heart and center of their
belief system and the hallmark of their program. Moreover,
there were other venues of culture that greatly aided in
their success. Among them was The Zoo.

Into their lives came the Museum of Science and Industry.
There, they could experience being connected to a reality
that improved rather than destroyed civilization. There,
perhaps they would connect to a challenge, a vision that
could assist in changing their lives. Such visits by them
must have been amazingly interesting and arresting;
enabling them to capture a fresh view of human ingenuity.

A new and broader view of the real world was also presented
to them by way of the Planetarium. Awesome observations of
the vast universe so unlike the average American city that
had limited their drug-infested lives. There was so much 'out
there' yet to be explored; so much 'in them' yet to be tapped.

The Zoo was another favorite place to go. Was it simply
a place to observe animals, or was there so much more
to be discovered? There was a golden opportunity to
reevaluate the use of cages, fences, barriers, and
partitions. Perhaps an ex-felon would conclude that
crime does not pay and that freedom is priceless.

I cannot be certain, but I suspect that the men
taken to such venues, especially the zoo, came
away with a greater appreciation for the good life.

One cannot help but realize the value of having
the wild in captivity, and at the same time acknowledge
that every living creature deserves and demands freedom.

Swim To Safety

I
Am
Swimming...
I
Am
Shifting...
I
Am
Breathing still...
I
Float
In
Dangerous,
Quaking,
Perilous
Waters
I
Am
Drifting..
Into a deep...
Sleep
I need to leap,
But how...
When I'm drowning in deep
Waters?

Forever, my dream carries on
I reach too high in the drifting,
dusky sky
The rope of hope is no where in
sight
I reach too high in the drifting,
dusky sky
All hope drowned and now I'm
gone
I reach too high in the drifting,
dusky sky
And I'm escaping the world's
captivity
I'm swimming to safety...
Disdain drowns my every
being...but it won't drown my
sense of pride and ambition...
It's my time to die, but I'm
telling you why I have to fulfill
my mission

Why do I soak in disconsolate
clouds,
Dear one?
Hand me a gun...
Might as well get it over with
I don't have the guts to swim in
these tidal waves

...I breathe no more...
...I kiss my demise and sink...
...I sink beneath the shore...
...I sleep and I no longer
think...
I drink in woe...
And the sun's rays and glow...
Where do my safety ship row...
I'm too late...I'm hopelessly
dead I know

I'm in the brink
Of total
Disaster

What a frightful scene,
Isn't it?

Potential Fulfillment Lost

Finally… Found the one just needs waiting a minute
Words used, questions asked, finding her history, wants, needs
Not touching physically, yet finding a spot in the heart and mind
Like seeing the moist, green, luscious valley through the weeds.

Yes… Losing your self in thoughts of what might become
Knowing time must pass before the present is clear to see
Forgetting the presence of the mountain that must be moved
Realizing my heart and mind are being held in captivity

There… The plan is set the time is near
Only one more piece to make a perfect picture
Waiting on the news, heart is racing, mind is chasing
Praying, checking messages, waiting on the future

Slam!!... The door is shut with a vengeance
The picture is left unfinished, broken in fact
Heart breaking, mind searching, thoughts fading
The potential is lost to another uncontrollable act.
