Eyes That Shine
Remedy away the pain with no lies
I’ve been down the river too low
Wipe away the rain from my eyes
You’ve seen the light within my glow
Remedy away the pain with utter relief
Brew away the grief and be my autumn leaf
Wipe away the rain from my eyes
You’ve seen the light within my glow
Your eyes - they shine so bright tonight
Like twinkling stars and mend my scars with might
Your eyes, your yes, your eyes, your yes -
They’re mine...you fight the good fight
I find delight in being single,
Don’t want to mingle, alright?
Liberty away my corrupted captivity
I’ve been down the ocean of glee and misery
Wipe away the rain from my eyes
You’ve seen the light within my glow
Remedy away the pain with utter relief
Brew away the grief and be my autumn leaf
Wipe away the rain from my eyes
You’ve seen the light within my glow
Your eyes - they shine so bright tonight
Like twinkling stars and mend my scars with might
Your eyes, your yes, your eyes, your yes -
They’re mine...you fight the good fight
I find delight in being single,
Don’t want to mingle, alright?
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Eyes that shine are mine...
Your eyes - they shine so fine...
Give me a tranquil sign
You are, you are, you are divine tonight
You are the darkness amongst the light
It’s at the end of the tunnel, alright?
Your eyes - they shine so bright tonight
Like twinkling stars and mend my scars with might
Your eyes, your yes, your eyes, your yes -
They’re mine...you fight the good fight
I find delight in being single,
Don’t want to mingle, alright?
Your eyes -
They shine so bright tonight...
