You're a little angel
whom always brings a warm smile
When sunshine flowers with a radiant glowing beam
carnations blossom fluttering petals kiss full of joy
happiness a rose crowning every single word
dances to your sweet melody
To hear your silent heartbeat within whispers echo
one blessing born filled with life flies grace shines
forever and always feels the warmth grow
Inside one's self a presence carried by you
on the sweetest soft gentle breeze
When the birds softly sing in the meadows
lifting lashes mirror reflections calming waters
Faith still holds inside beautiful paradise
our eternity embraced upon golden sands
within destiny's dream touched by your feathers
it's your heart and soul that has wings
Rainbow faeries in the sky, painting furiously and fabulously
God’s magic in the hands of the mystics.
His glorious red, representing our life’s blood
after it hits oxygen. Showing nature her full beauty
in the scarlet coneflowers and crisp crimson strawberries.
Flat out showing off in tomatoes.
Rainbow faeries in the sky, hurrying before we catch them.
God’s colors in their nimble hands.
His glorious orange, making us feel optimistic,
throwing a laugh into the rainbow, bringing a sense of play.
Orange, my favorite color, which is shown in
butterflies and marigolds, a sense of whimsy and fun.
Rainbow faeries in the sky, racing toward their favorite color.
The color of the sun, showing their full out yellow, which
gives enthusiasm and joy to the rainbow, softening the
other colors, acting as a beautiful companion, cheering them
all on with an exuberant happy cheer.
Rainbow faeries in the sky, settling down with calming green.
Throwing it in sparingly, as it is already in every meadow,
forest and field. The ultimate color that slows us down, allowing
our breathing to calm us, making us feel nurtured and a part
of nature.
Rainbow faeries gladly adding a touch of blue, the color of
sky and sea, the color that takes our eyes to heaven, and helps
us remember we are here to love each other, showing us compassion and empathy, giving us peace.
In poetry, dreams thrive with a fire
Creative ideas painting the senses
Hues of laughter and grace, praise
Penetrating psalms sung to the Creator
His music rides the skies on stardust
Capturing the heart in light and love
Soft feelings of compassion and healing
Welcoming faith to reveal mercies so kind
He comforts the darkest heart with joy
Rising to meet the hopes of sweet desires
Awakening the inspiration within a melody
Reflecting on the winds of grace with wonder
His ways rest on the tug of nature’s muse
Intimate insight into the flow of silence
Whispering miracles into the heart of truth
Breaking the barriers of toxic inhibitions
He soothes away the pain and despair
Paints the soul with consideration so rare
Lifts up the spirit to hear sighs of gentleness
Murmurs into the ear with promises so dear
He laughs in notes of quiet serenity
Calming the fears and fulfilling prayers
Warms the heart who has been chilled by tears
Reminds us all that praise lights the darkest dread
He loves more than I can possibly describe
Leaving His children with beauty and hope
Reminding us all that love caresses the soul
Writing trust across the soul with a pen of faith
He is my God and I am His child
I ache to know Him more
With adoration for His love
Love that is so ALIVE it trembles
Pulsing through the blood that remembers
He gave us a Savior, a Son
Who is my best friend and my Maker!
I love the color blue I can’t say enough about it.
The color of my favorite fruit, blueberries; is simply sublime.
When I play the blues on my guitar
I am never blue but, elated;
the Blues just do that for me.
Blue beckons to me when I’m tired and
lulls me to sleep in its soft, cool pool.
Like the bluest of oceans, lures the winging seagull;
blue waters lure and entrance me with their majesty.
Though my blood is not blue, blue pours through my veins, calming my fevers and raging mind. Tranquility is mine when I meditate in the blue of heavenly light.
When I paint, I can mix a million shades of blue; a blue painting is sheer ecstasy; a place for my spirit to revel.
Why, even my old dog, Blue...loves blue!
Calming clean crisp temperatures
Visually aesthetic browns,
Heart sweet October oranges,
Soft bright held ever so tight brown
~
Shades grounds leaves roll around and dance
Teasing pleases my eyes delight
Rainbow red, orange soothing souls
Breath, breathes compassions yellow greens
Soft bright held ever so tight brown
~
Feel like rejoicing outer side of the house
Most distinctive feel beyond windows light
Soft bright held ever so tight brown
Soft bright held ever so tight brown
~
Rainbow red, orange soothing sounds
The colors for mind eyes, I spy delight
The smells of autumn fall just right
Soft bright held ever so tight brown
~
Pumpkin, apple cider, warm drinks
Senses felt mix spirit, soul, thinks...
Soft bright held ever so tight brown

Withing are the twigs bound by our family tree
Her’s the lineage we both shall share for eternity
I watched my sister flourish, together we've grown
Thru thick and thin no matter what life throws our way
Everyday confirms simpáticas, close we’ll stay
Rose gracefully draped upon white velvety petals
Ode to my sister’s charms bright like precious metals
Soulful calming whispers soothe my hidden scars
Evermore friends as consistent as the midnight stars

Dulce is difficult to pronounce for a toddler
Utterance's of hers made us coddlers
Couldn't quite make out the syllables
Candy sweet, Ducci we nicknamed her
It stuck 'til this day and is what we prefer
We know she's a lost soul
What can I say she's our little foal
Wasting away in neverland
Existing day by day
Wasting away without her sisters to play
by your older & middle sisters

Word in words logically scraping speech
Word of words unlock hardened heart as priest preach
Word by word's exposition gain ground as sounds beseech
Word for word's daring compliment duly change to teach
Divided in divisions attentively awaiting wide open gate
Divide to divide confusion aiming to get hearts bait
Divide by dividing queries lured into an unending debate
Divide for divisions to be silent and no longer dictate
Born to burn boredom caressing darkness
Born to burn darkness' borne without prior awareness
Born of birth beyond scientific's cleverness
Born new birth- a magic yet amazing craziness
Light in fireworks beeping loosely creativity
Light lighting calm minds out of captivity
Light enlighten strangers' feet cum selectivity
Light lightening end afar when gold kisses negativity
Cool in cooler calming hotness foaming to burn tongues
Cool by cooler good at its usage correcting wrongs
Cool to cooling feet climbing life's ladder on open rungs
Cool for cool voices singing solemnly new hope songs
Freeze in frozen minds embracing caution to trap temptations
Freeze by free birds not returning for mothers' invitations
Freeze up freeman growing wings beyond limitations
Freeze out free Israelites wandering around manipulations
Hear tell ears of peace to pieces arrogance and ego
Hear from air blowing hot and cold to choose where to go
Hear about seer ranting of rest to all workers by will sow
Hear of spear piercing others cum eon's toast fondling woe
Tear apart tears inner eyes soaked in burning delight
Tear pairing code leading grace prospects into fright
Tear cheers growing solid cheeks hurting plight
Tear wears inviting comfort to blind eyes seeing flight
Full of fools open to wide gate of sulphur's flame burning spring
Full of rules that guides legs against commands of the mighty King
Full of truth to energize night of unknown songs morning sing
Full of tools rectifying faulty connections disobedience bring
Sent to sentence saint into everlasting cell never dreamed
Sent to sentence joy overflow through grace highly esteemed
Sent to sense need for change to shame end as deemed
Sent to see how blissful saints live having been redeemed
Suspended in a world sublime
on the other side of time
No clocks to spin the world away
I can stay and play all day
When thoughts are free to fly and soar
and never leave me wanting more
I am a bird on feathered wing
with songs of love to chirp and sing
No fear of coming dread or doom
For I’ve not even left my room
And yet the world is at my feet
the wonder of it all to greet
So easy is it then to rhyme
on the other side of time
no challenges to duck and twist
instead, a calming seaside mist
For here the land in which I dwell
is mine alone to write and spell
So I shall linger in the sun
at least until the coffee’s done!
Comes our God motherly, motherly, motherly,
Holding us tenderly when we're in pain.
Comes our God fatherly, fatherly, fatherly,
Strength'ning us daily to face life again.
Just what will tomorrow bring causes me worry
With so many tasks that I plan to complete,
And the thought of it makes me feel weary already.
I lay down my head and then struggle to sleep.
Holy Ghost hovering, hovering, hovering,
Spirit of wisdom to bring us God's peace.
Calming the chaos, relieving anxiety
Giving us courage so faith may increase.
With Jesus beside me as friend and companion
I rise from my sleeping to face a new day.
So whatever the challenges him I am trusting.
Through rough times and smooth I will hold to his Way.
God who's so genderful, genderful, genderful,
Spirit and Son now in union as One,
Shelt'ring us safely beneath her warm spreading wings,
Fending off evil till God's Kingdom comes.
To be sung to the tune of – Blow the Wind Southerly
Sewing machine, long idle, gathered dust
Polished now in the hallway, my fond antique
Recalling Grandaunt’s delicate craftwork--
Each pattern of fabric threaded with zest,
As her hands would bounce around pinpoint needles,
Weaving an array of doilies rugs garments
Intently absorbed in a foot pedal’s rhythm
That her hums trailed beyond Nam’s bombings :
The war years seemed like only yesterday,
Calming her through spindles of moon’s quick cycle .
Along each evening’s gloss, we rollicked laughed
Exchanging banters like friends… till she crossed over :
Tonight, I gently pat her own quilt laying on my bedside,
Lining our decades of sweet remembrances…
For a moment, my eyes gazed at stars’ fading wicker,
The candle sputtered, spent, and all was dark.
