Surrendering to cool hues of amber days.
Elegant harmonize blaze outerwear lays.
Phrases undescribable arrays to praise.
Trees sashay into the rhythm breath of calming
Effusion of gold blooms fields flavorful breeze.
Morning glories and lilies requited love,
Birth of sapphire skies dominate the Autumn
Equinox a changeover sun from summer.
Refresh bright eyes resting in tangerine scenes.
Fall morning wood smoke aroma zephyr out;
A deft flick pirouette ambient flutter
Leaves crisp fly with whispers of meander wind.
Late nightfall chattering nature slowly creeps,
Short days, long nights earth's axis tilted a bit.
A fleck of wheat along the bay
A quiver in the grass,
While daybreak shifts and ripples on
To mirror clouds that pass.
Warm breezes drift among the trees,
So calming to my ear
And only wistful eyes can seize
This dreamy atmosphere.
Then stars lend glitter to the night
To beam upon the dew,
Which fondles passion with glazed charm
As lovers thrill anew.
A time to dance, a time to grasp
The heart of summertime--
And nothing else to break the flow
Of moments quite sublime !

Rain calms my soul with its soft trickling
Soothing my worries with reflection
On mental waves of calming acceptance
Sent from God through His warm shower
Rain calls out to me through the lightning
Bolts so bold they illuminate through thunder
Swiftly lighting up the sky with electricity
Sent from heaven to enliven the very air
Rain embraces me with its gentle touch
Sprinkling down to whisper tender words
Of devotion to the One who knows everything
And promises to give the heart reassurance
Rain carries me through the claps of thunder
With a sense of elation that I can endure
This testing of the senses concerning trust
In the One who brings us all nature’s delights
Rain cleanses the earth with its renewing grace
Gives the moon and stars a transformed place
For carrying the night into the beauty of dawn
Where God sheds His light from the morning sun
Rain awakens the creatures to a replenishment
Fills the streams and rivers with a hope for fresh dreams
Renewing the earth’s blue waters and azure seas
With a gift from heaven to the awaiting sprays
Rain lifts the spirits of those who know what love
Was given to the ones who lived on Noah’s ark
And knew the spirit’s promise from God above
To always plead the rainbow as a vow to all of us
Read Genesis 9:8-9:17 for the covenant of the rainbow
Warmth, surrounded me…always
My lips, my eyes, closed…
Mesmerized by the darkness that brought me consolation
I remember there were colors under those lids,
Green, spurts of purple…and sporadic yellows and reds
They danced and flashed
Whenever your voice rumbled and vibrated my abode
I remember the earthquakes of laughter
That pushed me against the soft, supported side…
I merely bounced back to the middle again
My legs, bending, and then kicking off against it
My body twirling in the lavish liquid
Natural twists and turns that were later underappreciated
Twists and turns that were who I was
I didn’t realize they would always shape who I am
Deep voice—music—surrounded me always
My ears opened to the muffled marvel
Curious of the outside world that birthed the mysteries of who I am
I recall frustration, kicking against your soft insides….
Colors of black, gray tints, and calming browns…
That left me gurgling for more of those outside sounds
Because that first day I heard the lightning yells
The hot swells of your insides boiled
My body twirled and twirled as I heard you wail
Crying…sobbing…
My heart beat faster—wanting more to leave this vessel
Wanting to be a separate thing
Wanting all to hear me scream
To feel the cold, rubbery hands of a stranger
Lift me—and to your breast—gift me
It was always the warmth of the liquid
And the comfort of our bond
That always remained
Bonds and beliefs never dry
Blood is blood
Color is color
It is living to be separate that makes us gods

In the beginning it was just a smell
a smell i could not quite make sense of
a smell that the city was, a smell that the people in it were
in the beginning it was just a smell
a smell that dragged swarms of people of their homes
onto the streets, into the trains, into the strangers’ eyes and their uncharted territories
slowly i realised
all cities are, first, smells to the outsiders
and Tainan was smell sound taste touch to me
there were moments when i felt
this city is just people, so many of them; how beautiful
that i do not know any of them, yet i know them all
sometimes i would think if i emptied the city of all these countless faces
and bodies jostling with each other, what would remain of the city? would it still beat if i put my ears into the hearts of the depeopled Shennong Street
at the dead of night?
i came to Taiwan for the same reason
that a Vietnamese, an Indonesian, or an American comes for,
to chase my dreams, to become more of me,
instead I became it
it wasn’t as easy and quick as they make it out to be;
it took time, for love has its own mysterious ways
i started to embrace Taiwan and its culture
huge numbers of scooters and cars
Everyone follows the traffic rules
wait patiently for the green signals
one in Tainan city never feels pity
city buses and t-bikes are the best friends of a wanderer in the city
people are always helpful,
they adore you as they adore ‘hello kitty’;
small parks almost at every half a kilometer
elderly people like Mr. and Mrs. Wang use them for exercise
sometimes the parks provide sweet beds to the homeless;
i often use the underground passage of the Tainan train station
i look at the people sleeping there
they have made their small worlds in the underpass
they eat, they sleep, they chat with their neighbours
people look quite strange and funny without boundaries around them
their small worlds haven’t yet known the ways of the boundaries, the frontiers; these people are happy in heavy rains and in extreme cold, are they happy?
Tainan has a home for everyone, i guess
when I feel bored, i go to the sea
and bathe in the sounds of its waves lapping against the shores

I awoke all alone; she snuck out late
last night, and my fragile heart is breaking.
She'd silently slipped out, without debate;
and as my world shook, I was left quaking.
Her lingering scent was still in the air;
making me instantly regret our fight.
For ebony shadows merge with despair
when there is no light; for shadows need light.
She left a note, written with words of Hope,
a reminder of the good times we've shared.
And as I read it, her words wove a rope
that pulled at my heartstrings, saying she cared.
I nervously rushed to her, head hung low,
and begged her not to throw our love away.
And asked her why she felt she had to go,
what could I say to convince her to stay?
As my apologetic eyes leaked tears,
I sought forgiveness with my heart and soul.
And she gently kissed me, calming my fears;
my heart had shattered; that kiss made it whole.
"The hourglass parts paternally and maternally with life flowing in between," ... by The Poet.
granules enigmatic essences yields the life source
epitomized in the desert aglow ...
granulites a rose an aspiring hope
as maternal eyes glides afloat
calming dust devils common there ...
desert air steads an apparition of a wife
her vision that maketh every dreamer dreaming
cometh true ...
the sun befell upon my lap like tumbleweeds brushing alongside my legs
forever drifting, turning, tumbling, and tumbling along
until disturbing utterance of confusion ...
yakety, yakety, yak it's incessant and
I'm all alone so what am I to do now
oh, there's his milk bottle ...
I was in a coarse place sliding down a course all glassey
it was fun there I don't like it here, hey, what was that
where'd it go, sounds goo-goo now ga-ga
I will make sounds too, wah, wah, wah ...
that's alright I'll grab his bottle my dear ...
Like the feel of resurrection in the Spring,
or like great bridges over troubled waters
connecting landmasses, Autumn bridges Summer
from the coming cold. She may well bring us the
devastating destruction of hurricanes and wild
wind-driven fires of Fall, but she's only harmonizing
with the ways of nature. Perhaps I'm partial to Autumn,
being born one September morn, but I'm also overwhelmed
by the way she turns the color of green into a beautiful gold.
She takes note of what has been and what is coming.
She anticipates a hefty return on her laborious investment.
She creates a calming beauty before Old Man Winter.
She whispers words like 'harvesting' and 'gathering'.
She quietly utters the sounds of 'reaping' and 'storing'.
In a sense, the coming of Autumn is like salt
giving seasoning to the Fall Season.
I need friend
To spend these empty days of mine
Where I talk to myself
And try to make myself happy
To have a coffee
To drink a little bit
To take a walk
To give a hug
The universe wants me cold
As I live this solitary life.
You have a friend really many – We all need/want them
I/We want to fill your days with joy and understanding
And sing in harmony
So we both/all feel so fine
We have our favorite stimulants
And our calming fluids
Stretch our legs and arms
Getting ready to hug each other
The universe is a ing dope
Please hold on ~ to me
