In poetry, dreams thrive with a fire
Creative ideas painting the senses
Hues of laughter and grace, praise
Penetrating psalms sung to the Creator
His music rides the skies on stardust
Capturing the heart in light and love
Soft feelings of compassion and healing
Welcoming faith to reveal mercies so kind
He comforts the darkest heart with joy
Rising to meet the hopes of sweet desires
Awakening the inspiration within a melody
Reflecting on the winds of grace with wonder
His ways rest on the tug of nature’s muse
Intimate insight into the flow of silence
Whispering miracles into the heart of truth
Breaking the barriers of toxic inhibitions
He soothes away the pain and despair
Paints the soul with consideration so rare
Lifts up the spirit to hear sighs of gentleness
Murmurs into the ear with promises so dear
He laughs in notes of quiet serenity
Calming the fears and fulfilling prayers
Warms the heart who has been chilled by tears
Reminds us all that praise lights the darkest dread
He loves more than I can possibly describe
Leaving His children with beauty and hope
Reminding us all that love caresses the soul
Writing trust across the soul with a pen of faith
He is my God and I am His child
I ache to know Him more
With adoration for His love
Love that is so ALIVE it trembles
Pulsing through the blood that remembers
He gave us a Savior, a Son
Who is my best friend and my Maker!
