Banks

Chorus
Banks! Banks! Let us all do away with banks
And their dirty tricks and their silly pranks
Banks! Banks! They mean very little to me
If I was the king all banks will be history
If I was the king all banks will be history
If I was the king all banks will be history

Verse One
Banks are stingy
Banks are greedy
They steal from the needy
Banks never give but they love to take
If your friend is a bank
He will rob you before you wake
Only fools bail out the banks
Because I will rather take my money
They sold me worthless shares when my day was sunny
With the hope that one day I will lick from the bank’s honey
Now my day is rainy and I don’t think it is funny
I would never buy those shares I rather buy an Easter bunny
Only foolish kings bail out the banks
I rather bail out a pauper
The economy is going bad
While my people are left to suffer
Beware of the banks and the evil that they do
Today it is me but tomorrow it may be you

Chorus
Banks! Banks! Let us all do away with banks
And their dirty tricks and their silly pranks
Banks! Banks! They mean very little to me
If I was the king all banks will be history
If I was the king all banks will be history
If I was the king all banks will be history

Verse Two
Bank! Banks! They can never be your friend
Today they are collecting your money
But you are broke
They say see you later Sunny
Beware! Beware! Beware!
When a bank tells you sign here
They will take everything you have
Including your underwear
Is it your bit of filthy magic?
To trade with a bank may be tragic
Shrewd little goldsmith demanding for gold
And any item of value
Or anything he could see or hold
Bald headed money lenders demanding for a pound of flesh
You can take the meat from his cheek
But remember that no blood must spill
Banks don’t care they will rather kill
Take off his damn head off with a sharp edged steel
Deducting money from my account bill bill bill
Banks are the biggest thieves because the love to steal
Banks destroy the economy and they never heal
Banks will charge you money for a rotten potato peel
Banks! I hate banks!
They say can I borrow you some money
I say no thanks
Banks! Banks! Let us all do away with banks
And their dirty tricks and their silly pranks
Banks! Banks! They mean very little to me
If I was the king all banks will be history
If I was the king all banks will be history
If I was the king all banks will be in misery

Ship of Doom

" Ship of Doom "

Ship of doom so sailed to sea ~
Dark her course... 'twas meant to be ~

Into seas this great ship sped ~
Her past... her history... of naught but dread ~
O'er those waves her bows did'st cleave ~
Her memories... but silken webs to weave ~

Thunder on her decks was heard ~
Yet sailors aboard spake no word ~
For ship such as she was doomed thus so~
Gone north into winds then fierce a'blow ~

Down her bows crept steadily then ~
None to know which verse thus then ~
For rime was abound on her decks those days ~
Yet aloft was fire seen from her stays ~

Off afar from crow's nest was hailed ~
As below in her belly that crew did bail ~
For her planks ridden with dark worm & rot ~
Such ship did'st sail from whence known not ~

Far corner o'globe she ran from ever ~
Home her port seen oft yet never ~
Equator her line of happenchance ~
Capricorn her thought yet not her stance ~

Now she sails a spars a'glisten ~
A'deck her men all a'listen ~
Now speaks thus such sorrowful ship ~
With voice akin to crackin' o'whip ~

Hail! Ye Lads.... heartily all ~
Sail we've had & such so a'ball ~
Now deep down Davy Jones' way ~
I'm thus bound this cold north day ~

My sprit I drive now into next wave ~
Darkness & silence I do now crave ~
Gone from me now pleazure o'sound aloft ~
For me hull is naught but now gone soft ~

I'll seek that bottom at sea's very depths ~
Were there I'll find my wager thus kept ~
With devil I’ve played throughout these years ~
Now I’ll so lay to rest all such fears ~

Sail with me now lads & lasses bold all ~
Into realms which di'dst us then enthrall ~
Gone only now our fine spark & fire ~
Quenched so by life's sodden quagmire ~

Off now go we & heads look a'forard ~
To see what 'twas behind & now not toward ~
Rocks... reefs... depth’s sandy shoals ~
These so now our woe begotten goals ~

So to break up these planks hath caused me to live ~
For as ship o'the main I was once known to give ~
Now all such gone with wild sea's winds ~
As now my time... mirrors death's sins ~

Down down down do I speed ~
In need o'sleep... dark do I need ~
Run now quickly from my decks so I say ~
Or with me in devil's depths ye shall play ~

Bouzouki in hand I now last am at rest ~
For with song always I have been best ~
Tsifteteli my dance so join me now so ~
For life is naught that which e'er we'll know ~

Stand Up For Our Freedom

I got drunk by my self last night
There was just nothing else to do
I told myself that itll be alright
If I could just get that memory out of sight

My eyes are half closed
From staring down the sun
I’ve been down in the dumps
I’ve had a lot of intoxicating fun

And I’m here to tell you
That life goes on
No matter what happens
No matter how much you hurt come dawn

Remember that hangovers are only temporary
No matter how much they hurt
Sometimes you won’t be able
To have memories of which you revert

The fun is what
Drinking is all about
Remember that yourself
You should never doubt

Instead of drinking in sorrow
And self pity
Get drunk with some girls
Who are kind of pretty

If the good looking ones won’t accompany
In your quest for intoxication
There are always the desperate
In this great nation

Sex is a symbol
Which has made America fine
Naked bodies
So sensually entwined

We are a country
Now based on rules
Created by the greed
Of those political fools

Our rights shall be taken
With the swiftness of the wind
We will not even know
For our perception has thinned

We no longer appreciate
Our gift to be free
And our forefathers
Would most likely agree

We need to stop and rewind
What has our country came to
I think alteration
Is far overdue

We need to remember
What the armed forces died for
Now
More and more

Disgracefully we are becoming
More concerned about police force
What has our country came to?
Shouldn’t we feel at least some remorse?

Pay attention to the news
And you shall see
That this proud country
Is not what it used to be

What have we done?
Is there any way to defend our rights?
There is
You’ve just got to fight

For you must make a stand
This is our home land
We mustn’t have empathy
About this subject at hand

Those who have the power to take action
Have the responsibility to do so
Meaning the tyranny on the horizon
We must overthrow

If we wait too long
We shall face monarchy
Yet rules must be made
For we need not anarchy

Remember what life
Is all about
Freedom is something
We must now bail out

So stand up
Be proud
And in unity
Say aloud

We will not fade into the night
We will not
Be taken without a fight

We’ve done it before
We must do it again
Once more our freedom
Calls for our duty to defend

Pity My City

Pity my city
I pity my city there is no dignity in this city
There is no justice no freedom
Street children in a locked hall, shocking
County council overworking
The city must be clean so some humans are garbage
Some are cabbage, the garbage pay the damage
No houses sleep on spillage
But there are human rights
There are human right activists
There is the department of justice
All filled with malice
Pockets practice
Gross malpractice
Injustice, silence
You are in court
Guilty of court contempt
Another charge
The bail or the sentence
I’m bailed out in silence
Next time just bring your presence
Retain your silence
I was told
You will be safe.

My phone is gone, my shirt is torn
No bus fare so I walk alone
I think a lot, go back home or not
I remember I am a poet
I write a poem, a paradox
Pain in the city
I pity my city there is no dignity in my city.

Never what I came for
Likewise not what I prepared for
To be robbed by those I voted for
I am not happy anymore
My city is no more
I don’t wish for more
I just want go
not the city I know.
not where I wanted to grow
cartels make us bow
Now, now, now, it is time.

Time to know I am grown
And carry always my identity card
The men in blue are out bad
And always never forget also to carry ‘kitambulisho ya polisi’
Hawa watu ni mabeast na mafisi, human hyenas
time to tie up my seat belt whenever in a matatu,
sina mia tano ya kulipa coti kila saa na sitaki kulala ndani siku tatu

two days I am locked up inside my own head
spinning spinning, my thoughts are dead
the life so far I have led
no step has been made
no journey finished
No house furnished
Time is running and broke is sickening
My heart is listening, my brain is calculating
I have to act quick, just do something
The weather so good for chilling, but bad for singles
Life is unfair
No dream has been real
No love to heal
No feel
No deal
Just the bill
More and more bills
The city is fattening
Wanjiku is sickening

From Nys to health to Tunnels
It is all on the channels
How they on the seat eat
Meat
The citizen kitty is gone
The city is torn
Get the president on the phone
Call the press, what must be done be done
Impunity will not rule this city
Dignity must be restored
This city no more a pity
Bring back the citizen kitty
Say no more
The city.

One Giant Leap For Me

When it all came down I lost my mind
Bit by bit I became hard to find
But like a phoenix from the ashes I rise
I'm proud to say I survived

These past 8 months were trying times
I sat in bed and wrote these rhymes
I never knew what was coming next
What was yet to happen was anyone's guess

I went to the nut house twice in all
To be sane again was all I lived for
On my darkness days I made plans
I wanted to go and meet the “big boss man”

Everyone around me suffered too
Little by little they all knew
Knew my darkest secrets and tricks
Knew all the things that made me tick.

But I wasn't ashamed its who I am
It was finally out, it wasn't a scam
Eventually I began to heal
But what happened next…believe me is real

A knock on the door one Sunday morning
3 detectives with badges…there was my warning
They took me away in a little silver car
Arrested for what? I didn't know thus far…

They gave me a cell and made me answer some questions
They let me go on bail, no charges or restrictions
“Surrender here in one months time
And we’ll decide your fate and crime”.

The first week was hard as hell,
I knew I couldn't spend my life in a cell
So my suicide plans began again
A Stanley knife and pills would become my friend

Week 2 I lost the will to speak
I couldn't even sleep or eat
Benzos were what the doctor ordered
A Benzo high to fix my disorder

Week 3 is where this picks up
7 days till judgement…I know it sucks
Humming and haring about what to do
Should I Die now or see it through?

Then at 12 by phone did ring
“Hello Ms Dhillon I have some news,
Please sit down while I talk you through,
I know this will be of interest to you”.

“There are no charges to be had
You’re a free women now don’t despair,
I know this fear was hard to bear
But its over now, no need to be scared”.

I sat and I just cried and cried
I now no longer had to die
I knew that I could finally sleep
And slowly all my dreams I could reap

Off to the pub, there were drinks to be had
I am no longer feeling sad
It was relief for all, that much is true
But it was my victory, and it was sweet!

I guess what I'm saying is there's always ways
Ways to keep from going insane
I wouldn't of believed it yesterday either
But today I'm living proof.... it sure does pay to be a believer!

Unscrupulous Judge Ict

Maleeha Soomro, mother of Barrister Fahad Malik, who was gunned down in the capital some six years ago, appealed to the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo motu on the murder of her son as additional and session judge is allegedly trying to give the killers relief in the case. She said that the apex court had also deleted section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act,1997 from the FIR.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday,Maleeha Soomro said that her son Barrister Fahad Malik was murdered in the capital by a mafia on Margalla Road some six years ago.The apex court had deleted section 7 of ATA,1997 from the FIR and had transferred the high profile case to a lower court where ASJ Zafar Iqbal is all set to conduct a hearing in the case.“I don’t trust ASJ Zafar Iqbal as he is taking the side of killers and can grant them bails,”she said adding that he shouldn’t hear our case which should be transferred to another judge’s court.“Lower Court Judge Zafar Iqbal has met my son’s killers. Judge Zafar Iqbal is not trusted. He should be stopped from hearing our case and the case should be transferred to another judge’s court because the lawyers of our killers are being heard in the court of Judge Zafar Iqbal till evening,” the mother alleged.
A writ petition was also filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the CJP should resume hearing while the case should be monitored.Justice should be provided to the children and family of the victim, said Maleeha Soomro adding that her son Barrister Fahad Malik was brutally killed by Raja Arshad, the kingpin of the land mafia,by firing 43 bullets.
She added today(Saturday)is Fahad Malik’s birthday and she has been humiliated for six years. The judges of the Islamabad High Court remarked that this is not terrorism. She said,“I was terrified when the killer Raja Arshad escaped from the scene after the murder and was later arrested from Torkham Border.”Criminals are being facilitated by prosecuting cases in the dark of night, she said adding,“I do not want my case to be decided by an unscrupulous judge because it has happened before that the judge tried to grant him bail.If the accused is granted bail then the accused will run away.”
She appealed to the Supreme Court to monitor the case and provide justice to the children and family of Barrister Fahad Malik.

Being a household hero
and laying in my hammock,
is the only reason.
Summer in my backyard,
is my favorite season.
I love a soft warm southern breeze.
As I lay I the shade of Red dogwood trees...
The only Hurricane in the forecast,
is swirling with ice in my tall glass.
As I enjoy the lay of the land,
lounging here all day is only part of my plan.
Quietly protecting the peace,
my silent sentinel of serenity.
Man’s best friend, a full grown
three-pound chocolate chihuahua
asleep under my feet.
A beautiful woman enters my view,
and she has a list of chores for me to do.
Seeing the way, she’s dressed and
headed in my direction I thought
maybe she’d like to help me
with my now rising (wish it was bigger).
She strolls toward me singing my name.
She sings a song of why I’m at the top of her list
for the lazy man’s hall of fame.
Her velvety voice is music to my ears.
If you like the sound of a drill sergeant,
commanding troops for a number of years.

It is from my lovely wife
where I catch hell.
Because she knows her husband,
dose nothing very well.
A wonderful woman, soft as silk,
but when she’s in a mood her voice
has been known to curdle milk.
Lift that bail! tote that barge!
Trim those bushes! And wash the Car!
She says
Honey when are you going to cut the grass?
And I say
Right now, my riding mower seems to be out of gas.
She says
then you could put together the new barbecue grill.
I pictured the unopened box in my garage,
and say
Honey I checked the parts and its missing a wheel.
She says
OK! When are you going to start building the back deck?
And I said
Yesterday I talked to a contractor but he wouldn’t take a check.
She says
The grand kids are looking forward
to playing on the new swings.
And I said
Well I think I’ll have that together
by some time, next spring.
She says
Well when are you going to walk this ole dog
that pays me no mind?
And I said
If you look honey, she’s got four legs
and I think she walk’s just fine.
She says
you can at least wash the car and trim the bushes!
I take a sip from my drink,
and took a half minute to think...
I looked in her beautiful brown eyes.
Knowing this isn’t what she wants to do.
She climbs into my arms, you see,
my hammock is very comfortable.
It was made for two.

Dear Poetic War

I'm here to inform you to change your name to (War Shoe.)
Warlock doesn't even fit you!
I have many ways to insult you.
I have to play nice, can't you see all them evil eyes!
Poetic Warshoe the only talent you poses is the word LOCK!

No need to try and crush what you can not see
All you are is another loser who can't let me be.
You silly jail bird, you sound more like a game of Monopoly
Its my turn and I hold your ticket to get out of jail for free.
Don't worry Warlock, Board Walk is owned by me.
Washing your couplets down with a cup of tea.
I laughed so hard your words almost made me pee.
Warshoe, why are you jumping on me like a little flea?
The only stinger you have belongs to a bumble bee.
Poetic thug you are messing with the wrong killer bee

Sorry I told you I share my fate with Nate!
Go grab some more help from your psychotic mate.
Raid I will spray on your strategies you poetic bug.
You have no class to be a Warlock.
The only thing you master is being a poetic thug.

Go back to playing dominoes, cards, and chess.
Your poetry smells like potpourri.
My demons will hit you with an epic battle of success.
Hunting me is the way you want to waste commissary.
I will enslave you to worship the grounds my feet caress
Challenging me will be the best thing you've had in 5 years.
First I will send you this letter with a small request.
Look down first before you think you pushed me over the cliff.
I own the crown causing massive damage to your quest.
You will never dominate my battlegrounds, I will end you in a swiff.
Your sword will be conquered in my arena, bringing you down to a rest.
I will make you suffer begging for mercy and forgiveness.
For trying to step up to the best.
Warshoe you already failed my test.
In this game you will never beat me at my own contest.
Your heart I won't eat I will feed that to my guest.

Warshoe its time to rip you out of the shadows where you hide.
I will LOCK you in my WAR of hell.
Shackling you in a fetal position as we collide.
Your fear will spread for everyone to smell.
I will end your poetry with no pride.
I will post venom in your abyss through out your cell.
A poison so rough now bend over and open wide.
Warshoe by the time this is over you will bail.
And I P.D. will still have you under my spell......

I investigated many poems today
Friendly people on this (Love Boat)
Everybody different in their own way
The evidence I found is hidden in every poetry line
Mysteriously, one poet comes from (Fantasy Island)

I am filing charges on the lady
Who welcomes you to the soup
Leaves you a comment, without reading your identity

Today I read a report on the supernatural.
Billies demons vs' (Charlies Angels.)

Investigating a woman who poets you advise, gee's how nice
I will give her a ticket, for making me feel guilty as can be

How about the clown who does not wear a rubber nose.
He puts on a show with his pen and paper (THAT IS TALENT)
He is using his ego another way
He makes us laugh, with one whip of his Belt

I will not release the name on the depressing poem I read
For her, I will stop traffic, and move everyone out of her rain
Her words made my heart bleed

A warrant goes out to the girl who used too much imagination.
I actually got to see tongues to tongue vividly.

I will never ticket the poet queen
Murder she wrote and got away,

I do not know who is the John Doe I found today.
I will be reading his poetry file.
To make sure, he is not misleading this investigation.

I also confiscated an old antique or two
Unique skills found in their retired war shoes

I did my undercover work on a serial killer case on the soup.
That is one report I did not want to picture
I hope the writer will bargain for a life sentence
In a paradise so Green.

I will soon end my file, and turn in my report about Big Foot
After I arrest them ladies who write about butterflies
It is against the law to lead us on a goose chase
We are nowhere near (A highway to heaven)

I have to go join a (S.W.A.T.) team.
To raid the aliens who invade (The little house on the prairie)
I call this group the (A team)
You know A-liens team who you are.

Someone just posted bail
For the girl who blinded us all
She wore her neon converse a straight ticket to jail

I am on a manhunt locating a molester
Every time she is spotted in a pick out line
She comes back and deletes her trade
Erasing her only profile, just to edit all over again

This coming from a crooked cop, (Magnum)P D
