If I were to look inside a rainbow
what sight would I find to astonish me?
Would there be a klatch of bright elves below
with brimming buckets and brushes in hand?
Would they giggle and sing as they painted
colors of the rainbow's mystic aura
with a linen drop cloth well-acquainted
with dribbles and leaks of the artist's stroke?
Would their casual conversation weave
tales of magic places and pots of gold
that a few unhappy humans believe
could be found to abolish all their woes?
I should like to think that the cheery elves
delight in creating rainbows of hope
to inspire mere mortals to love themselves
and rejoice in God's mysterious ways.
She who sends waves touching beautiful warm and gracious words
Draws bright sunshine smiles in our hearts as they sing in her grace
Flowing from the heart her beauty held in her Quill ready to write
Pure diamond sparkling rainbows as a true friend is a friend in deed
The tidal wave raises fine soaked sand from the bottom of the ocean
And the waves curl out pearl white reflecting a most Picture Perfect
Image that is truly splendid and always sublime to behold and cherish
As Nature’s soft wind caresses your aura and inspires your next poem
She who sends these very waves touching beautiful personifies a Muse
So rare, so special—and brings her influence and talents to bear in
Masterfully supporting the efforts of fellow poets and dreamers as they
“Spill Ink” on blank pages late at night crafting their next poetic masterpiece
The very power and wonder of her good works and positive influence are
Always there magnificently arrayed like pure beams of sunshine touching
And dazzling all in her reach quite profoundly with the magic of her thoughts
And the quiet courage of her convictions as the simply wonderful poet she is

Words sculpt
Moments frozen;
Death stalking
~~~~~~~~~
In one swift stride
Joy ride ends;
Broken romance
~~~~~~~~~
Swift dash
Purpose crumbles;
Hide-and-Seek
~~~~~~~~~
Bamboo screen
Leafy mirage;
Old China glimpses
~~~~~~~~~
Peach blossoms
September harvest;
Longevity sums
~~~~~~~~~
Arc of new moon
Bright aura spreads;
Lovers by old bridge
~~~~~~~~~
China Yunnan tour
Moments recalled;
Old town bazaar
~~~~~~~~
Dreams float
View the highlights;
Notice bright hues
~~~~~~~~
Whispers
Soft breath;
Windy cascades
~~~~~~~~
In the deep dark
Night set free;
Dreamtime constellations
~~~~~~~~~
Sad melancholy
Lingering pain;
Lonely lover waits

The sound of silence echoes in the tranquil night sky,
wakes up the sleeping stars one by one to shine
in the bejeweled crown in the argentine ambiance,
the moonbeam strands weave dream of you for me.
In the stardust sprinkled night I wait fervently
for you to emerge out of my dream like an angel,
walk in the craving corridor of my mesmerized mind,
I let my longing drift in the air of night’s amorous allure.
The feeling of bliss comes out of the miasma to dance
in the silken sapphire of the seamless sky’s seraphic span.
Like ribbons of rhapsodic cloud nine floating in a trance,
my enthralled life spreads soaring wings of delight.
That’s how my dormant desire gets obsessed
by your shimmering radiance in the moonshine aura.
My unclosed eyes are covered by the tapestry of dream,
weaved with the threads of your hued longing.
I see you adorned like the crown of the pearly dew
on the beguiled blades of grass of the flushing meadow.
Following the turquoise trail traced out for me possessed,
my besotted yearning meanders to where you are.
I watched as the dandelions blew away in the breeze
Like small tornadoes beneath me
You chuckle, then rush to collect them
Scared to see some unique begin to bloom?
Hunger rumbled through my body
Like a shouting gladiator
Piercing my stomach with his blade
Gyros spread across the set table
I watch as you sink your teeth into them
Starving like a ravenous tiger
Yet a heart softer than lavender
So, darling, let the games begin
Please offer me your hand to hold
Whisper to me, skin warm like tea
Olive complexion luring me in
Like I'm stuck inside a trance
Take this break while the tides are high
Guide me into this deep ocean
I'll backstroke through love's reservoir
This aura, it calls out my name impatiently
Sandalwood dances to my brain
The scent attracts me like a magnet
Farther away than Andromeda
My worry for the future, it drifts away
Now that ecstasy has incarcerated me
Nothing can ensure my soon release
Trapped in the open, free within
Heart beckons, we tip toe therein
Thought rested stillness, self-aware
Pristine vibrant void, free from sin
Sans thought, no fear of ego snare
Within silence, heart secrets bares
Time dissolves as we vaporise
Presence with oneness, gently pairs
In timeless time, ego urge dies
No one’s here to size or apprise
That that is, is soul all aglow
Ecstatic as bliss currents rise
Resistance free, in joy we flow
Each nuance felt, in stillness slow
Simply being, here now present
Aura bright, beauteous rainbow
Free will grants divine touch consent
All we do is follow love’s scent
Mind-body, by bliss magnetised
God Himself steers, our soul’s ascent

A faded, vintage and washed out photograph feel
embraces my soul to create beautiful images,
I love to capture texture and detail and shapes
and the shadows and details are truly amazing.
It is endless the beautiful images that can be visualized
the only limit is imagination and inspiration,
I find black and white photography dramatic and vivid
never mind the cost of film developing and the time.
Step into an out-dated, antiquated age that is alive
delight in how the light falls and the intensity,
manipulate the image to compose a mood and aura divine
I have started thinking in black and white.
. . . and just turn off your color vision

Her name was Venus. She was the matriarch of astronomy; clouds of gas and a thick, ribbon-like atmosphere guarded her from the chaos which surrounded the Milky Way. Her surface was rocky, yet she made sure no human would ever step their feet onto it. Asphyxiation didn't seem like a pleasant way to be robbed of life, and she admired her effortless beauty too much to want it colonized and distributed by the human race. So, there she remained, limiting her admirers to a mere glimpse, like she was an antique passed through her family's bloodline. On a night where she felt a bit more daring, she'd allow humans to view her in the night sky, like a child taunting a dog with a bone. No, she wasn't that cruel. In a world of dictators, she was only Chicago's mayor. For these reasons, she is viewed as Earth's older sister. She's not rude, simply in a later stage of development, moody, and alluring, yet a wonderful companion.
Bright and fully warm
Her aura invites and speaks
Looking for a mate
Painting Voices
by Odin Roark
How indelible
These frequencies abounding
Filling our senses with color
Defending our spirit with aura
Voices speak
Sing
Chirp
Bellow
Crosshatching endless layers
How personal their colors
Sounds of red
Yellow
Green
And blue
Diminuendos to crescendos
Weaving and blending
Curling and attaching
Mixing hues of sonance
Into the kaleidoscopic surrounding we absorb
To make into our own palettes
How lightning gray
The subway shriek
The yellow/blue
Of a lone sparrow
The crimson red
Of a Pavarotti high C
Would that the world might create
A global canvas harmonized
By colors of passion
Love
And peace
Even as they sort out
The dissonant vibrations
Of a Pollock guise
To allow our blue/gray tempest rage beneath
To surface and become one
With the purity of white
To know that the reflection of all color
Cannot be known
Without the awareness of black
Painting voices
Pulsation needing only whisper’s hue
To truly hear and see
