Aimlessly wander veiled memories of yore
Each passing cloud subtly brings to fore
Recalling regrets, where laments agonize,
Thinking of you, searching forsaken skies,
Muting spent emotions of anguished eyes.
O how we rejoiced in blissful sunny days
When dawns arose on glinted arc ablaze
As golden beams pierced shrouded haze
Defying onslaught of darkened malaise
Intent on blotting zealous romantic phase.
Recalling ardent dreams with you I stroll
Where gleam of your smile brightens soul
As allure of amorous past feelings cajole
Emanating from desires heartbeats extol
In language of passion yesteryears scroll.
Every cloud etches effigy of love gone awry
Yet, thunder of stygian vibes fiercely I defy,
For return of clear skies in your longing I vie
Denouncing certitude hosting forlorn sigh,
Remorseful of ego that callously bid goodbye.

Sensing and yearning allure of daydreams
My musings amble in meadows of themes,
Sometimes wowing ebullience of dawning,
Sometimes luxuriating in moonlit evening
Gazing lambent skies of stellar twinkling,
Inviting me to echo my inner most feelings;
Of whispers romantic when love is courting,
Of giggling streams and blossoming springs,
Of resplendent autumn’s falling gilded leaves,
Of fate unkind, bawling, in throes of grief,
Of pristine joy beaming from mother’s eyes
Jubilant in delight of child’s innocent smile;
Of ebb and flow to life in seasons undulating
Spurring me to attribute form and meaning.
So, I write verses stemming from core of soul
Striving to capture essence of elusive words,
Exploring assonance, even in rhymeless prose,
Attempting to inspire spirit of wordless woes
As thoughts-poetic heart’s rhythms compose;
Of chromatic sunsets and scintillating dawns,
Of starless nights hosting tenebrous bygones,
Of tales strumming romance, of fables forlorn,
Of ideas enthroned, of paradigms bemoaned,
Of boundless expressions, of passions I own.

Hallelujah this is my spiritual anthem
Something's beautiful about to happen I love you
In the skies the spirits are shaping clouds into letters into words saying
I love you
For the beauty of allure the patience that's insured the bountifully the pageantry of you
In the air I must confess your essence ever so blessed the aroma the fragrance of you
While I'm on my wild tangents
I think of the everlastings
And the Beautiful that you do
Something's beautiful about to happen and I know it's true
Still yet and still in the skies the spirits are shaping clouds into letters into words saying
God's daughter I love you

The anticipation of flowers blossoming is delightful.
It's incredible to watch butterflies fly to a melody.
The wind is blowing, and the leaves are pivotal.
It's an angelic reason to feel delighted with similarity.
The moon is surrounded by clouds that are fluttering.
An element of the allure may be seen in the shape.
It gives us pleasure to drink in the first drops raining.
Sitting on the beach, carefree, youthful in cape.
Green-field is becoming excess widespread.
This is a visual feast for the eyes and the sense.
A lovely acoustic backdrop for the basic sound.
Fireflies sparkle in darkness at night and dance.
Unrivaled among the number of stars in the sky.
It's almost as if the dense forest has a lyric feel.
For years, the icy slopes conjure powerful memory.
The prospect of her mating has a bound appeal.
What does paradise imply in our halcyon world?
A design solution will turn men to the knees with awe.
In their drive to learn and develop as a specific herd.
Which counselor do they call themselves in the raw?
Do you wish to wipe off the whole human population?
Winning now and future, beating the current reality.
Remember it! You are both a parent and protection.
Nothing is easily altered; God is the owner of this property.

I always weep for you in the hush of eventide hills.
In their mystical muteness I can hear your heartbeats.
As tears indulge in indigo dusky deepening horizons,
I put my hope in the last morning star which lusters
upon waves with sapphire iridescence shades of eternity,
flowing upon seashell shores stroking your sacred footprints.
Ever since your opulent hypnotic essence
stole the innocence of my lucent purity,
you've left me drunk on the wine of passion.
I'm stumbling like a drunkard in the dappled depth of desire,
with my provocative facade forming into a bodacious flame,
searching for my poetic pearl lost in a sea of mauve enchantment.
Wailing winds have discoloured my eyes with stained illusions,
in their darkness, I yearn for your sunlit glimmer to reappear.
I've been kissing the emptiness of porcelain moonlight,
since you left behind the taste of your fragrant lullaby.
Wondering if my kiss illuminated the ebony entities,
veiled inside your mystique of midnight eyes.
Visions of your majestic scarlet seraphim lips,
poised in sultry pulsation, forever flutter,
floating like blended opal and onyx butterflies.
Their tender beauteous softness merging
like ambrosia echoes of a cocoon, composing
the sweetness of saccharine symphonies,
caressing my soul like a magnolia breeze.
Oh my beloved ethereal lover,
will I be forever dreaming of your paradisiacal grace,
seeking your celestial scent from dusk till dawn?
Won't you gift me one shimmery glimpse
of your rialto rosette silhouette.
Forever wrap me in the sanctuary of your satin wings,
like the warm merino shawl of love's allure.
Why leave me in this state of silent saudade,
where I hunger for the silken hymn of your tongue.
Why bless me with such treasures,
only to deprive me?
The Silent One

Her placid surface ripples with
undulating, hypnotic waves.
Yet, lost within Her depths' embrace,
lie the bodies of kings and slaves.
Exposing forgotten treasures,
cascading breakers seed the shore.
And hint at what lies still submerged,
deep within Her ebony core.
The Sea's a seductive siren;
luring fishermen and whalers.
And yet, She's far from submissive;
drowning impertinent sailors.
A potent brew of emotions,
is preserved in Her salty brine.
And many crave that elixir;
savoring Her bittersweet wine.
Her beauty lies just out of reach,
yet it's that allure men die for.
And it's said, time synchronizes
with Her tides as they wash ashore.
Wonderful flowers growing in clusters
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Warming the heart with gentle lusters
Laughing at the roses so queenly
Buds so joyful, who dance with respect
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Dressed in blushing petals which protect
Laughing at the roses so queenly
Lighting the heart with their beauty
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Seemingly sure that allure is their duty
Laughing at the roses so queenly
Rain falls softly at the edges of their attire
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Weaving hope and kindness as they conspire
Laughing at the roses so queenly
Brilliant in blushing pinks and satiny cherry
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Creating more images than found in a library
Laughing at the roses so queenly
Whispers of hope fall across the bud’s bright coat
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Leaving only a melting wish pouring down the throat
Laughing at the roses so queenly
Breathing inspiration from the graceful leaves
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Autumn approaches assuring a heart who greaves
Laughing at the roses so queenly
Love kindles within the soul who can see
Dewdrop dreams flow serenely
Flowers so amazing will make you feel free
Laughing at the roses so queenly
“Butterflies in the stomach, a smile that won't go away, and it's like an addiction that makes a person yearn for more. It's not something one thinks about, it's something that's felt, involuntarily.” - Shelena Shorts
My dream within a dream -
I ponder this; what might it be?
When I was but a teen,
romantic notions flitted
through my mind like butterflies -
illusive, beautiful and bright.
I chased them as I dreamed awake.
Catching them was another thing!
I suppose the dream of many
is to find a love that’s true, but
I always longed for the allure
of love that lights the soul on fire -
a lasting, blazing deep desire.
Such love ultimately burns out
but for fleeting moments
I held a butterfly or two!
Sweet butterflies linger not,
They are dreams within a dream.
Oh, to feel again the tickle -
that flutters in the tummy
making me a little crazy!
How nice to be revisited
by butterflies now and then.
Though elusive, they show themselves
at times inside my poetry.
When Alex was tasked to pen eight straight A’s for an animate cause
He adjusted the angle arched forth in awe and anticipated attunement
Ached with attrition and attributed an array afore attaching amends

Please do not absolve me from my shortcomings misgivings and sins
Torturous anguish needs the suffering of suffering to light a candle
Of hope to assuage waxen heartbreak and all-consuming darkness
The allure of kindling a fire to burn unpleasant memories and gloom
Auspicious temptation to bury the past under a cover of dusty deceit
Amounts to nothing but awry dis-balance on a false screen of imposture
When understandable appetency promises fake lightness and ease
Remember that self-denial is far more atrocious than dealing with pain

Assignments had never appealed without accompaniment of adroitness
Alex felt an ambitious affectation arising in aplomb to alleviate anxiety
‘Angst anger aberration abhorrence’ he appraised an arbitrary approach
‘Abuse addiction archaic arbitration apparition’ appealed its approval
‘Anhedonia analgesia anathema alluvium’ availed an asylum for absentia
‘Bemusedly boring’ he bellowed in bewildered bondage to belligerence
A barrage of baggage beckoned for the bragging breakaway bastard
Before he was befallen by braggadocious banter and blacked out appeased
Contorted dreams echoed devilish frustration garrotting the . . .yodelling zombie

Born in cloak of modesty, life toddles, yet thrives
Musing of blissful eternity in domain of paradise
Befriending and beholding its virtuous design
Facing triumphs and failures of quests worthwhile
From first breath to last it's a long thrilling ride
As love and desires rule trappings of eager minds
And will to acquire wealth demands equal time
While allure of fame ignites latent spark inside
As maturity gains wisdom it begins to ask why
Things that were treasured once, now fail to satisfy
And glitter that charmed then, now burdens eyes
When meaning of life changes as time goes by
And memories then bemoan venues forgone:
Failing to sail the oceans when tides were calm,
Forsaking kiss of love when nights twinkled stars,
Ignoring golden aura when fervid was the dawn
Precious become moments waning to end the game
When tallies are made of words said and unsaid--
Some seek reconciliation, some still burn the flame,
Some that meant so much, no longer mean the same
