Premium Member Message of Peace

Be the night that prompts
A nightingale to sing,
Be the dawn of endearment
Enamored in song of robin,
Be a dove, soothing morning,
Crooning melodies of peace.

Be the land of tranquility,
Be garden of white poppies
Blooming flowers of peace.

Be not act of tyranny
Heralding voice of vengeance,
Flaunt not sword of enemies
Spewing revenge that kills,
Be olive branch of friendship,
Be the compassion of peace.

Protect weak and weary,
Feed the plight of hungry,
Accord hope to misery,
Bestow on life a meaning,
Fulfill the void of nothing,
Promote means of being,
Be the ambassador of goodwill,
Be the benevolence of peace.

Be the grace of mercy,
Solemn words of hymn
Singing prayer of harmony,
Raise the torch of dignity,
Be harbinger of sanctity
Tolling bells of divinity,
Be the message of peace.

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO CAN MAKE US CLEAN

October 24 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Luke 5-6

Key Verse – Luke 5:12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

FAITH IN GOD WHO CAN MAKE US CLEAN

God can make us clean with His compassion
While healing our infirmity-caused transgression
Also transforming us from wickedness-oppression
So that we can live by faith along His divine vision.

God can make us clean with His holiness
While sanctifying our souls against sinfulness
Also pardoning us along His forgiveness
So that we can walk by faith onward for righteousness.

God can make us clean with His mercy
While purifying our conscience by His truth’s fervency
Also correcting us in our hypocrisy
So that we can straighten up by faith for honest persistency.

God can make us clean with His Word
While enlightening our minds through His Spirit’s sword
Also correcting us against pride’s discord
So that we can continue by faith along His ministry-accord.

God can make us clean with His truth’s settlement
While harnessing our stewardship commitment
Also upholding us for our service-settlement
So that we can keep on by faith toward heavenly achievement.

God can make us clean with His leadership
While guiding our choices along His partnership
Also directing us for sincere worship
So that we can glorify Him by faith in our discipleship.

God can make us clean with His victory
While guarding our testimony from frustration-misery
Also reminding us of our salvation from hell’s misery
So that we can exalt Him by faith as we share His Gospel story.

Premium Member Walking His Path -2

Walking through this worldly land
Following my precious Lord
Wondering can I finally withstand
Because I’m following Him who is adored
By hearts and souls who understand
He is love sent from above with one accord
By the One who created all with His own hand

REFRAIN:

Lead me home, precious Lord
My sweet Savior, who is adored
Grace and hope sent to the world
To remind us that we can’t afford
Losing this light, this love, this award
From the heart of One who won’t be ignored
He is the answer to every prayer stored
Up in heaven, our home and reward

Lingering in my soul there is a light
Calling me to love with all of my heart
Filling me with a joy, a song, sweet insight
Beauty that reminds, His grace He does impart
With the wonder of a love sent – so bright
Freeing my mind of fears running rampart
It is this gentle peace of which I always write

Heaven can’t imagine the wonder of such grace
Feelings alive, breathing sweet life
Through my feelings, poured over my face
Beckoning my soul to let go of worry and strife
Lean into the joy, the hope, the place
That won't discourage, cutting like a knife
Into the spirit of the one who knows His embrace

Premium Member God's Great Gospel

All glory belongs to God alone
for it's His gospel that meets man's need
His mercy and His anger meet head-on
for lost sinners are brought to mercy feed

God's holiness leaves one mystified
His godliness is beyond man's mind
within one's soul, there's a real move
seeking to move a great salvation to find

In Christ, our Lord the spirits vindication
high above holy angels sang joyful praise
the world lost in sin and nature's night
then heard Jesus died but now He was raised

This is indeed such glorious news
one that blows the human mind so free
Christ paid sins price to rescue man from self
this He did die for sin on Calvary's tree

Let your heart be filled with praise
Christ's death means that He is mine
so I sing in unison with heaven's choir
to adore Jesus my king my saviour's love sign

(Some thoughts on one of my favourite hymns of all time.)

Great is the Gospel of our Glorious God

Great is the gospel of our glorious God,
Where mercy met the anger of God’s rod;
A penalty was paid and pardon bought,
And sinners lost, at last to Him were brought:

O let the praises of my heart be Thine,
For Christ has died that I may call Him mine,
That I may sing with those who dwell above,
Adoring, praising Jesus, King of Love.

Great is the mystery of godliness,
Great is the work of God’s own holiness,
It moves my soul and causes me to long
For greater joys than to the earth belong:

The Spirit vindicated Christ our Lord,
And angels sang with joy and sweet accord;
The nations heard, a dark world flamed with light –
When Jesus rose in glory and in might:

Premium Member He Rose Again, Oh Victory

8686

Behold the blood poured out for me!
Oh wretched man am I,
That for my sin, upon a tree
A spotless Lamb should die!

Come, see the thorns upon his head,
His nailed hands and feet,
His blood poured out for sinners' stead,
The cup so bittersweet.

He rose again, oh victory!
All praises to the Lord,
For he has set the captives free!
Rejoice in one accord!

He lives! He lives! My Jesus lives!
His song's my life, my breath!
For all transgressions He forgives!
He has put death to death!

"Oh, grave where is your victory?"
"Oh death where is your sting?"
The grave is not the end of me!
Revived, my soul shall sing!

Robes of Righteousness

Your Master’s righteous cloak is not
a bold retreat from evil’s plot.
In peaceful times and in discord,
You shall know that I am the Lord.

In busyness or when you’re bored,
in argument or in accord,
in health or in a hospice ward --
You shall know that I am the Lord.

Noah, a man, perfect and just,
built the ark displaying his trust
in full view of a mocking horde.
You shall know that I am the Lord.

Daniel, confident, skilled and wise,
kept on praying without disguise,
sentenced by a conniving board.
You shall know that I am the Lord.

Job, upright, blameless, God-fearing,
endured his friends’ steadfast jeering,
the goad to curse God, he ignored.
You shall know that I am the Lord.

These three, Noah, Daniel, and Job,
God, deemed righteousness as their robe.
Thru famine, wild beast, plague, and sword,
You shall know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 14: 12-23
The repeated phrase is used some 50 times in Ezekiel.

Breeze brisk on my face.
Air damp from yesterday’s rain.
Just a lass, surrounded by the beauty of Ireland.
The wind whistles over the green hills to its own accord.
The skies' lingering grey clouds promise rain is on its way.
Walking down the road, looking to escape the weather, I stumble upon an Irish man.
Hair as red as a burning fire.
Eyes as blue as a stormy ocean.
Smile warm and welcoming.
Becoming grounded to the current moment, I kindly ask where the nearest place is to escape the coming rain.
In his Irish accent, he responds, “A little further on, lass.”
Telling him my thanks, I continued on my way, coming across a pub.
As I approach closer, the sweet sound of Irish folk music rang out into the street.
Opening the door, I enter the cozy town pub.
Chilled to the bone from the cold, I find a seat right near the fire.
Between the fire and the two glasses of whiskey in me, I could feel the music in my veins, calling me to dance.
With no hesitation, I joined in dancing to the Irish folk music, my skirt twirling around my ankles as if it had danced to this music a thousand times.
My soul is in heaven, surrounded by the songs of Ireland, new and old.
After dancing for hours, sleep was beckoning me. With whiskey in hand, I found my seat near the fire and a peaceful tune lulling me off to sleep.

Find the Strength To Say Goodbye - Losing My Train of Thought

Lost in a sugar-coated lullaby
Lost in a bloody reverie…
Losing control…I lost my train of thought
Watch out – I will hunt you down like game…I’ll watch you rot
But, I will remain downright distraught
I yawn non-stop
As I awaken from my solitary cave…
You’re sleeping beneath the surface – you are unique and brave
You are beautiful and strong
You are sharp and headstrong
I want you to know that I love you so…
I want you to reap what you sow…
Reap what you sow, you know?

Chorus: You are my saving grace
You traced tranquility on my lips
Behind closed doors, there are secrets to unfold
Find your way out of your own maze
You can’t save me this time
Find the energy to run the extra mile
Find the strength to say goodbye sooner or later
Later for now…let me sway away…let me flutter away
Think on me…think of me…
Believe in me…reflect on me…

You’re sleeping beneath the surface
I owe you an apology? You say ‘sorry’ first – say it to my face
I must be dreaming – pinch me please…
Put my worrisome, saddened soul and anxious heart at ease
But, no one can mend these scars from deep within…
I’m falling victim to this one hideous sin….
But, you make me feel great day in and day out (I feel no regret…I don’t feel all
that upset)
Please don’t stop the rhythm of our hearts, beating as one…where have you
been?
We belong with each other…we were meant for each other no doubt (my
mind’s not piling up with excessive debt)
Where are you going? Are you drowning in your pain? Do you wish to drive it
all away?
Do you just wish you could make it disappear out of nowhere? I long for the
Lord’s accord – someday, that day will come and repair our heartbroken hearts
that once consumed dismay and wept with frustration and disarray

Premium Member Walk in the Light

God forgives those who come to follow Him
Desiring to be cleansed and freed from sin.
Since Adam and Eve ate from the wrong tree
Sin’s built into mankind naturally
An ongoing battle that's tough to fight
Until one decides to walk in the Light.

God’s the Father, our king and creator
Faith redeemer, daily bread relator
Wear His yoke upon you, thee of meek heart
Living to love is a sacred fine art.

Do not touch what us unclean, said the Lord
Turn from dark to light with righteous accord
With clean mind and a heart that's truly pure
We belong in God's safe harbour for sure.

Heaven on earth, created by God's hand
Could anything be as grand as this land
People that here on this planet do dwell
Care for all things glorious God made well.

Ascend the Lords mountain of divine grace
View splendour of earth’s illustrious place
Believers, the sons and daughters out there
Will rest one day in ethereal care.

Once Upon a Mind

Once upon a mind.

A lonely soul sleeps inside my heart.
It has given up on trying to be my star.
The light has dimmed; the finish has begun to become duller.
I have never been anything other than sullen
And now my soul is no watercolour.

Scatter no seeds, for nothing will grow,
Inside this black hole that I call my soul.
I cannot take hold of a direction in which to go,
Because I am unable to see ahead, when I am without hope.

No more, no less;
The same phrase repeats again.
What more can I say when all is gone so far away?
Out of reach, but never out of mind;
Still it lingers at the fore front of a head without design.
Clutter, splutter, mix me with resent;
No chance to repent,
No choice to have left.

Just left behind, by a love life that has moved on to be happy
And found itself a new home, as I lie inside my cemetery.
Gone from this diseased soul, formed from insecurities.
It has escaped and taken my heart with it and from me.
Now I am soulless and never free to dream without regret.
Continuously delirious,
So easy to detest.
Once upon a mind, love has exploded
And now there is no trace left.

No Jessica Rabbit to find,
No saving emo.
No happy me;
Just where ego, I go.

My body moves of its own accord.
I am too bored to give it orders,
When I am busy crawling up the wall,
In search of just one thing that even matters!
Life is no adventure and I am the mad hatter.

Lost in a wonderland of my own mind’s creations.
I fall down (a rabbit hole) and break an ankle.
I am no longer in contention,
To be a contender for the title of most loved.
Just stuck in the mud with no tears left to wash it all off;
Gone is my chosen destiny…I have given up.
