The Long Distance

The Moon descended into my room
To thank me for leaving you
For your smile had outshone its silver glow

"It wasn't a choice," I whispered,
"But an altar, to fill our plates."
Beyond the seas, hearts long for each other.

Premium Member long distance phone call

so far away
his voice is right her by me
whispering sweetly

The Emille Bell

Still the feel where I can't get to see him lingers
as an Emille bell —
piercing on my mind
like an echo.

Not the song.
Not the fame.
Just the bell.
The distance.
The sound.

It pierces my heart —
not being able to see him near.

Hiding.
Like the bell under the curve.

Rare as a Blood Moon

A raspberry is sweet—
yet seeing you leaves me fresh and sour,
regretting I didn’t find you sooner.

You make me pop when you smile,
like a golden retriever greeting the world
with pure joy.

You make me burst like confetti
the moment you show your heart.

You leave me wordless,
blank as white paper,
whenever you stick out your tongue.

You are rare as a blood moon
when your eyes open wide.

Will these sacred words ever reach you
before I leave this world?
This feeling crushes me gently—
like a raspberry pressed into juice,
slowly draining me,
yet never losing its sweetness..

Just us and our love

I just want to look at you—
your blonde hair, poodle-like eyes,
that artistic nose,
and your soft, pouty lips.

You stir my heart like a cyclone,
stealing every thought I try to hold.

I want to hold your hand
and tell you—
I’ve kept this feeling buried deep,
like a hidden capsule in the soil.

I want to carry your burdens,
just to see you smile
a little brighter than before.

I want to pat your head
as you drift to sleep,
the way a mother soothes her child.

I want to trace your forehead,
to ease the worries you hide.

Will you look at me,
just once,
with those gentle poodle eyes?

I’d be happy
just to hold your artistic hands,
where our unspoken love
could finally be understood.

At the end of the world,
let it be just us—
laughing, forgetting,
leaning into each other’s warmth.

Just us,
and our love.

Our Love Story

We are once two lovers,
Who keeps on fallin’ in love so deeply.
Despite of the distant far
Our love grows intensely

Two hearts, moving in one rhythm
Every beat gently written
In one cold night
Of winter’s pale touch in Belgium
Our bodies’ warmth dances
In lyrics of passionate love.

Oh, when you kiss me
I feel fire in my lips
I love those tender press
Into my hips

I open my eyes,
We lay bare on the floor,
Our bodies close,
Our souls colliding
In a breath we shared
Without restrainst

As I touch your pretty face
I feel deeper romance
And you hold me near
Our bodies answering the call of love

We move toward union of soul
Where love needs no name
In the hush if this cold Belgian night,
We found a communion of desire

Now, we know that this is a real love
A love that will last
Gunther and Grace’s story of intense love.

Next Lifetime

My love,
I was loving you like the root of a sweet potato—
tied to the heart,
but never to the feelings.

Let’s meet again in another lifetime.
That time,
I’ll be the one to find you first,
and I’ll hold your hand
before the world can take you away.

Homesick

They say home is where the heart is
But you have flown across an ocean
You're something I'm blessed to miss
We will make it through all of the commotion

But when I come home, I'm never letting you go
When you're back in my arms, I'll be home again I know
A year from home is a lot, my dear
I'm homesick and all I can do is text you, I fear

My Heart

There's a hole in my chest
My heart's flown away
My eyes tire from crying and crave rest
The hole burns all day

My world's gone sideways, now at a slant
I am missing my heart
But it stays with you while I can't
The pain leaves a flavor sour and tart

The feeling of a missing piece of me
Burns less than that of having lost you
I broke at picture of us in my gallery
I'll see you again but it feels far from view

I gave you my heart from the beginning
Despite the pain, I do not regret it a bit
Because while I can't hold you, losing and winning
My heart is with you through all of it

Some Day

My skin misses the feeling of your touch
Your fingers trailing lines of love
But we aren't as far as we seem
I look up and it's the same sun you see above

All of Me Misses You

My hand longs to hold yours once more
My arms mourn the loss of your embrace
My lips wait to kiss those they adore
My mind plays images of your face

My stomach lacks the butterflies
That once ran rampant with you
It's something with goodbyes
They will do that to you

Ever part of me knows something is gone
I know you're far but I think you're the one
It's a goodbye for now but not for long
I know in my heart our story's not done

I know this is true but against my will
My eyes will search for yours to get lost in
They search and they cry and they carry on still
Until my heart rests by the one it belongs to again

Time and Space

I bring you to a place
Where between us
Is time and space

So far away
Though I wish it not
And always ahead a day

This place is loud
It's thunder claps
It's screams in a crowd

It's violent and bold
It's waves crashing
It's fire taking hold

It's quiet and shape
It's a dagger and a blade
It's haunting notes on a harp

It's thoughts screaming
It's silence deafening
It's tears on a cheek gleaming

It's crying all alone
While you are asleep
Pain felt in the bone

We fight alone
With the other's name in mind
But each in our respective home

It's separation across time and space
And somehow we must last
To one day, together, grace the same place

together, promise me

we chose this together,
we will face this together
you’re far away from here
but you are close to my heart

wished i could see you forever
hugged you tight forever
call and text day and night
till be see our sunlight

you are the moon to my sun
the light whom guides me to choose the right path
stay with me and hold my hand
for it is a while but never ends

Pine Trees

Never dying in the winter
Just like the ones I knew
But these ones are different
Because the sky's are more blue
They only make me think of you
Dark shade of green matches your T-shirt
And the brown matches your eyes
And the pines never die
Just like the thought of you in my mind

Premium Member Quatrain 3 - There's a long distance journey

There's a long distance journey we all have to make
going from one life to another through death's gate.
One life may not really be enough to achieve that goal
where the game we have to play requires a perfect role.
