Dont Quit Your Day Dream
Eureka of Archimedes was part of his daydream,
Thomas Edison nurtured his dream in bright light like gleam;
Could sleep ever overwhelm Alexander Graham Bell,
Till he heard the noise from the other and fell in a spell...?
George Washington Carver, who found in peanuts and soybeans,
Utilizations, like treasures, hidden abundant gleans;
Eli Whitney's constant daydreams gave birth to cotton gin,
That separated seeds, hulls and wastes; hearts of all did win...!
Johannes Gutenberg’s innovative printing machine,
Or John Logie Baird's mechanical television sheen;
Benjamin Franklin's lightning rod and the iron furnace,
Or Henry Ford's ventures into automobile sternness...
No invention has found its sphere devoid of day-dreaming,
This should be coalescence of action-vision creaming;
Together with concentration-shift toward internals,
Should bring forth spiritually resonant externals...!

Alba
Rustic mountains
Through glaciations
Moulded this wonderful
Scottish Nation
Caledonian Forests
Covered our land
On our Western Islands
Golden beached sands
Glens and rivers
Cris cross our land
Glorious moors
Where the Highland Stag stands
Majestic and tall
Proud and might
This king of beasts
The most wonderful sight
Scenery to thrill
Heather-ed in purpled bloom
Look out any window
Its our own front room
Golden Eagles
Soar above these lands
Winged royalty
In their blue blooded strand
Our contribution to our modern world
Is all around us, read and learn
Logie Baird, with Television
Pedal Cycle, Kirkpatrick MacMillan
Medical marvel, Penicillin
In other Nations our touch has felt
Our Ancestors us, we Celts
For centuries we cast our nets
To further lands
We were always met
Friendly Scots in every way
Gave this world
A better say
America, Canada, New Zealand too
Us Scots are in me and you
Ancestral blood runs through our veins
The quite wonderful Scottish strain
Alba.

Life is hard and complicated for me
Raising my three girls is not real easy,
But I am there by there side holding them up with confidence and pride,
I've made my mistakes as every one does but I am past that now and I am full of love,
I see my mistakes and I'll never go back to that hard life when I fell in my tracks,
My girls are the most important thing to me for their nick names are.....
Logie,lexi,and lili.

The Gothic Perfumer
The dear old heart had an infectious laugh.
He'd capture the hearts of many a fair
maiden with his Baroque style and charm.
Like the magician uncle in the Narnia
books he'd be mixing and brewing potions
till the wee hours of the morning.
Fine port,Ramstein + Greek music blaring
from the stereo.
White fluffy dogs + white cat matched the
Maestro's own Riccoco coiffure.
His guest waiting list was as long as
the red logie carpet.
Admiring female fans would always try to
take over his lab to sharpen it.
Till someone once said "Dear Sir would
you ever find the right partner and
settle down?"
With a twinkle in his eye and a little
Smile he said "Of course!"and gave a
little Buddha bow.
