This was outside the theater
And, lo and behold,
No one griped, but all did
Just what they had been told.
It was strange, but real nice
Seeing not one lit screen
In the audience, members
Thrown off their routine.
No distractions from texters
Or people so bored
They must Google the news,
With politeness ignored.
So instead, all were focused,
The whole multitude,
On the actors, with some scenes
Performed in the nude.
That was likely the reason
No phones were allowed,
But I loved being part
Of an old no-tech crowd.
Lost in your eyes.
Dark and entrancing they are.
In their depths, secrets lie.
They almost give predatory vibes.
How you look at me.
Lost in your eyes, I don't know how.
Oo they're smiling!
With a gaze that pierces through me.
Igniting a fire, igniting a spark.
Frozen in the moment.
Lost in your eyes, against my will.

she left this world alone
neath
the fast flowing Ouse
judge not
nor accuse!
this lovely wife
of thirty-one
whose beauty
does transfix &stun
dying
in circumstance unknown
leaving Arthur
bereft alone
heartbroken distraught
he searched
in weather so bitter & cold
'til a final illness
took hold
a tragedy made manifold
orphan Lily
wept alone
just five
with no family home
the Great Warhad
had just begun
her tiny world undone!

Frances left
this world alone
her legacy lingered h
to expand
in the fair looks
of
her daughters-grand!

Tidal locking
Like waxing and waning
of moon, his love shuddered,
The tidal locking
that hampered my zing,
Effulgent life lost
in darker side of silvery moon.
In its brightness
drowned my shimmer,
Then it abated into a sickle
to slice my pride,
Forlorn, I chose to live by
the dark side of the moon.
Consumed by its force,
deep on this side of earth
where peace calls my name
I lean and stay,
over the reflection of waves
on the dark side of the moon
The horizon rips my heart
two bodies weaken
by its physical use,
and tidal locking
Welcoming and affecting everything
On the dark side of the moon

Tidal locking- tidal forces from Earth slow down rotation of moon and the same side faces the earth. The other side, the darker side always remains dark.

Single Roll,
Boogaloo
Scarecrow
Puppet,
Push and Pull,
Toyman, Robot,
Shamrock, Waving,
Eqyptian Twist,
Romeo Twist,
It's Funk we're making
Double Lock,
High kick, handkerchief
Apple Hat,
Splits, Knee drop, Wrist Twirl,
a Layout that's flat,
Stripey socks, bright Zoot suit,
Marshmallow shoes,
Candy Hush Puppies, big smiles,
no need for blues,
Waistcoat, Braces, a Cane,
Bowler or Derby hat,
Popping and Locking has style
we can't get enough of it.
Fact.
Walk-out, Electric Boogaloos,
Iconic Boogaloo Sam
He's the man who made Popping,
for Locking, Don's the man
James Brown, get down,
Breakdown, Rufus Thomas,
