another family series SAGA

Locking Legacy

FAMILYTREE

in circumstances 
                unknown
she left this world       alone
neath 
      the fast flowing Ouse
judge not
             nor accuse!

this lovely wife
    of thirty-one
whose beauty
       does transfix &stun
dying 
     in circumstance unknown
leaving Arthur
        bereft           alone

heartbroken distraught 
he searched
in weather so bitter &   cold
'til a final illness 
                took hold
a tragedy made manifold

orphan Lily 
     wept alone
just five 
     with no family home
the Great Warhad
           had just begun
her tiny world         undone!

in circumstance  unknown
Frances left
          this world alone
her legacy lingered h
                   to expand
in the fair looks

            of 
                  her daughters-grand!
