A word or two about my view of the politicians
we presumably put in positions of power
hobbyists bought and paid for under the table
catering to manipulating lobbyists by the hour
where saying nothing yet flapping their gums
offending no one when sitting on the fence
doing naught but wagging their tongues
and all the while protesting their innocence
dodging the bullet by ducking the question
avoiding the topic with digression
self-serving landing votes with glad-handing
fingers firmly crossed behind the back
conscience-free they sleep well at night
there's nothing (short of gun) can be done to keep them on track
those more than a few who are quite literally
caught red-handed with their pants down
making a mockery of you and me
should be tarred feathered and run out of town

If you don't play the game, the game plays you,
In the world of politics, it rings true.
With power and influence, they all vie,
A constant battle beneath the sky.
Promises whispered, ambitions unfurled,
Crafting speeches to sway the world.
Lobbyists whispering in halls of might,
Their agendas hidden, out of sight.
Election seasons, a grand charade,
Words spun like silk, a masquerade.
Debates become spectacles, filled with ire,
As politicians dance upon the wire.
Corruption lurks in the shadows deep,
A poison that seeps, its secrets keep.
The common folk yearning for a voice,
Caught in the currents, without a choice.
But change can come, a glimmer of hope,
When unity rises and we elope,
From divisive tactics that tear us apart,
To a future where compassion is the start.
So heed this call, and be not blind,
To the games played by those unkind.
Empowerment lies within our hands,
To shape a future where justice stands.

And seeing the multitudes,
He went up into a Starbucks,
And when he was set,
His constituents came unto him:
And he opened his mouth,
And taught them, saying;
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the smallest of tax breaks.
Blessed are they that mourn,
For they shall be down in the polls.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall be bullied by lobbyists.
Blessed are they which do hunger
And thirst after righteousness,
For they shall be indicted.
Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall be subpoenaed.
Blessed are the pure of heart,
For they shall seem odd.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called especially odd.
Blessed are they who are persecuted
For righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the briefest of tenures.
Blessed are ye, when men shall say
All manner of evil against you
Falsely; it’s their game.
Lament and be exceedingly sad,
For such is the promise of Congress.

The Corporate
Where did you get your ill gotten gains?
From broken backs and forgotten pains?
And will your wealth wash out the bloodstains
From the blue collars of those that came
To work for your pennies while you reign?
No matter to you, - you feel no shame...
For YOU live the life of luxury.
That is fine but you fail to see,
You garner wealth and give measly.
Then your shareholders want more from thee.
So you move the jobs to over sea.
It causes strife but
- you lack empathy .
You bend
You rend
You mend
And look
You begged
And borrowed
Bought
And took
You justify the pain that you cause,
“Just business” you say “no need to pause”
Rules don’t bind you, you just break the laws.
Your lobbyists mend by paying the pawns.
Your workers being thrown out on their front lawns!
But you don’t care to undo these wrongs...
All you’ve created is insubstantial.
Your sole purpose? to increase your financial
Needs to support your gluttonous life,
While the workers toil and suffer in strife
People are starving, their kids they can’t feed...
Where does greed end? How much wealth do YOU need?

What is a lobbyists?
A lobbyist is somoneone employed to Buy Government Access,
and Washington DC is presently flooded with lobbyists in untold masses,
getting laws passed that favor corporations protecing the CEO's from arrest,
for everything from raping the environment that we all depend on,
to the labor exploitation of not only adults, but also children,
abroad and here, in my own nation.
Lobbyists are at the core of government corruption.

To everyone's discombobulation,
anarchy and pain
were given free rein:
liberty is losing its foundation.
Ukraine's taking flak
for Russia's attack.
Many foreign politicians are corrupt,
and deep-pocket lobbyists pay to disrupt.
Liberty is stumbling!
Global warming is touted as fake news.
Oceans are rising.
It's not surprising
when ecologists beg; the rich refuse.
Money is their king.
Nature's their plaything.
Big business stole a generation's dreams,
promising paradise while polluting streams.
Liberty is stumbling!
The crazies are taking total control:
creating weird cults,
in which hate exults.
Without condemnation, we've sold our souls.
We wear a blindfold,
and do what we're told.
Republican fascists are fueling fears
democracy holds no more value than tears.
White cops shoot black youths, and then go out for beers.
Liberty is stumbling,
its foundation's crumbling.

March against the rule of guns
March in favour of human life in tonnes
Inscribed in the Book of Life
Although lobbyists promote societal strife.
March against the insensitivity of politicians
Bought by lobbyists, propped up by machinegun magicians
Whose pockets swell with bucks to buy turncoats
Ingratiated and depreciated to wear shame coats.
March for students’ lives
Dignified by educational drives
Ordained from on high to run Uncle Sam’ economic wheels
Despite the passage for umpteenth time of pro-gun bills.
March for human lives with conscience
Although voting for gun control laws hurts your election chance
Diminished but not extinguished by pro-gun lobbyists
Who in anger would put your name on their black lists.

Vehicular bull on a rampage,
plowing into a frightened crowd
Metal horns impale human flesh,
being gored alive is replayed on a loop
Concerned citizens say let’s have
a national discussion ... air their bloodstained social laundry
Opposition says with feigned compassion:
now ain’t the right time, don’t politicize ...
people have just died
Let them first process their pain
Later on down the road,
we’ll reconvene again
Drone heat seeking, random bullets,
angry buzz into a busy, downtown café
Well-armed disciples of collateral death,
planned murder-suicide made operational
Outraged local residents wish to hold
a town hall public forum ... air their shrapnel shredded conscience
Paid lobbyists says with false empathy:
now ain’t the right time, don’t politicize ...
let the community first cry
People need time to cope with grief
Let the calendar turn,
then schedule a serious meet
It ain’t never the right time
to talk about causes of a terrible tragedy
When will it ever be a right time
to talk to each other with candid honesty?

Polly is in politics
Convinced herself she's great
Though it's tough to find benevolence
Whilst sifting through the hate
Polly has a message
Polly has a creed
The only thing Polly does not have
A strong defense towards greed
So Polly eats the pill
She drinks elixir too
Now Polly's good for nothing
Except reaping rights from you
As long as Polly's seat's secure
Her thoughts are sure to be impure
She'll levy taxes, flex her might
Your first born is probably in her sights
The lobbyists control her
She's their girl more than ours
Standing tall as their lieutenant
As the people fight the powers
Now totalitarian in nature
Absolute power is her goal
The only thing more wretched
Is the state of Polly's soul
Polly wanted to enact change
To love something she grew
What Polly never factored
Money has agendas too
A fallen political player
Someone fresh at any rate
How quickly a people's champion
Became an enemy of the states

Let them sleep
Do not let hunters
Into dens creep.
Predator kin predator
Mothers and babes
In your safe harbor
Killed without grace.
Who amongst us
Will let this take place?
It's the man on the throne
With the lobbyists' ear;
Overboard humanity is thrown
As no more dangerous
A predator exists
In our world on this ark than us.

Political sally renders her vote
As a mass of lobbyists pass a note
3x 3x 3x she says "nah"
But there in over there heads!
So doeth i say!
Again the vote x3
Upon the mass and it seems cutthroat.
Do you believe me when i say
They are bullshitters all the way!
Trump,clinton,all the like.
Make way for the next dummy with a tax hike!
;(

Ready to WIN,
Very very RICH,
Yet not owned by special interests,
He loves his money more than you,
Yet not as much as he loves his country,
He has the politicians numbers,
And their lobbyists too,
Has an EGO large enough to crush our enemies,
Understands the BIG SCAM of the Federal Reserve,
Keeping us down through fear and propaganda,
He is the Howard Cosell of 2016 Presidential Race,
Telling it like it is, not how Big Brother dictates,
Has Washington D.C. establishment shaking in their boots,
He knows the PEOPLE are ready to take their country back,
And the more the empty suits attack him the higher his polls rise,
The winning hand is within his grasp and he is ready to use it,
He is turning the tables on the government scare mongers,
A billionaire who wants to raise the Middle Class to glory again,
Ready to really stop illegal aliens from breaking our laws,
I, for one, am ready to cast my vote for Donald Trump,
The next President Of The United States!

There are many in our capital
Who share the same genome
They prefer to follow
Liars in that hollow
But there’s a fix to that
So see if you can swallow
Punching holes in the dome.
I’d then pick up that capital
And flip it upside-down
And wouldn’t it be nice
To shake it once or twice
So all the brain-less grains
Of sugar, salt, and spice
Pour onto the cold ground.
But that would leave just lobbyists
Toting devil’s favors
As their stock and trade
Let’s rain on their parade
And send them all back home
Since only homemade
Can improve D.C.’s flavor.
I wonder if our founders
Who built on those acres
A building square and plumb
Conceived it filled with bums
They’d pull out their wigs
If the best that it’d become
Was the capital shaker.

Their cries for help all go unheard
Society ignores them as being just strange birds
Because powerful men want to play with toys
Weapons of death are obtained by messed-up boys
We’re saddened by the stories on the evening news
Yet, gun control we refuse to choose
Lobbyists’ pockets are lined with blood-stained cash
Another SWAT team scrambles in a mad response dash
So macho men can go out and kill yet another deer
And false security be allowed in the house
School boys can go on a rampage near
And arguments lead to a cold dead spouse
The only civilized nation with no gun control
Has the highest rate of murderous crime
Each unnecessary death blackens our collective soul
As we close our eyes yet another time

The Bible says "thou shalt not kill"
now proudly join the army lad, and go kill,
come back home, and follow your Bible again.
O middle class, your fathers built your homes
with union help, now disperse those union halls
and happily work for minimum wage, six days a week,
chant bribed politicians working for hidden oligarchs
reaping 100 million dollar bonuses, crowded apartments
will suffice.
O Appalachians, your once proud mountaintops now
miles of desert, debauched by profiteers, unbridled by
regulations written by lobbyists, clothed in frothing
chemicals, drowning your despair in burgeoning liquor
stores.
O beautiful blufflands, along my Mississippi,
I see you now, your royal crowns
decapitated,
your limestone sand greedily slurped by
frac-monster gargoyles wearing saville row suits,
entombed in New York skyscrapers.
O broken occupiers, etch your days in Heaven,
on your jail cell wall.
Truths, all truths, build slowly,
but truth must fight on, for your children's children
will know you tried to save our people and planet!
...we must fight on!
....we will!
