Love Kneading Your Loafs

-------- From FiFo to LiLo-----
-----------------------------------
Rowan is a berry that it's extractions are used to
make sorbit acid a preservative used in baking.
Sorbus Aucuparia, also called mountain ash
is not related to the ash tree.it is one of the many
plants in the familiar Rosaceae family that also
contains roses, apples, and raspberries, and that
I have written about here so often.
Rowan trees are one of the most eye-catching tree
it's berries look like cherry tomatoes. While not deadly
poisonous, raw rowan berries contain parasorbic acid
and cyanogenic glycosides, which can cause significant
stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, and potential
kidney issues if eaten in large amounts, but cooking
(or freezing) converts these compounds to safe sorbic
acid, making them edible for jams, jellies
, and syrup.

Always

Months of adjustments
A new home
Strangers on every street
Morning came it feeling bleak
Walking to the door tiny yips barks galore
The door swinging inward
a small black blur storming in
With fear in their eye the small ball of fluff
Didn’t even ask let me in
Laying on the ground looking at one another
Time froze with us together

Years later still here
With two new furry felines
Still together forever
Adventures with one another and more
Plenty of scares
You always there
With your scruffy fur
and patient ways
Days of lose an pain
Seconds later you numb the pain
From the tribulations of my mind
To the fear that time is always passing by
always there
To save the day
Laying by my side
Rivers of tears stopped by a blockade
My puppy
My pet
My friend
Lilo my puppy
Thank you for giving me purpose
Giving me strength to stay
Thank you forever and
Always

Little Lilo your life is
Off to a fine start
Your art and your heart
Will set you apart

Ones who love you
Will offer their thoughts
Choosing the right way
That's wisdom they say

You'll do something special one day
Don't let it sweep you away
Keep grounded and true
Always knowing the real you

Off with you now
You're on your way
Greet life with a wow
Savor each day

Dearest Love

The days drift by without you
I long to look upon your face and touch your hand.
Summer has come and gone all too quickly.
The fleeting moments we shared
Are like time written in the sand
Washed away by the gentle waves of the sea.

To hold you, to love you, to dream
Thoughts of you drifting through my mind.
Why do I love you?
I need not search far the answer to find.
With you my heart, my soul, my spirit is free.

With you my heart soars like an eagle
To ever greater heights of joy.
You are ecstasy, the thundering drumbeat of my heart
And then . . . gentle, soft as a newborn colt.
Your love makes me whole
And I am you and you are me.

Live, Love, Pray

Live, Love, Pray

Hello me!
Who am I and what am I about?
I think I have all the answers,
I believe that, without a doubt.

Really?
Do I live life to the fullest every day?
Do I give and receive love?
Do I take time to pray?

I am not sure!
I must strive to nourish my heart and soul,
A state of being that is true and pure!

True to myself and others too.
Caring for and tending to those that I love,
Seeking enlightenment, understanding, praying anew.

Only then will I know the true meaning of life.
To live, love and pray is the answer I seek,
To cast aside doubt, turmoil and strife.
