He thinks of dreams he often dreamed
In early morn, while yet it seemed
The young looked up to him with searching eyes
As deep and distant as the western skies,
He weighs again the words he wished to say
Long before the shadows stole his day
And robbed him of the chance to prove
Experience, purloined his will to move
While tender light mounted waiting sky
And birthed small feats to pile high
At last. He felt his soul pressing down
And shaken to the bowels of barren ground
With sobs and sounds of folly fearing
Ahead the dusk so fast appearing;
No one seeks his wizened face again,
But he still swears the time was best
Before he reached the final crest.

What’s in a number, those two that be together;
To bring two numbers (or things) together;
To make a new total
One and Three, 1 + 3 over…
Merrily, bringing me-Stability;
Invokes me grounds me;
In nature of all things I see;
One and Three, 1 plus 3;
Equals the product of angels, surrounding me;
Offering you love, support, encouragement, and inner-strength-wisdom;
One and Three gives me completion of the material universe missions;
One and Three, 1 + 3;
What’s in a number?
One plus the third day evolves the birthday we remember;
Of the Creation of the Sun as well as the moon and the stars:
One plus three, jointly strong so clear connecting the angelic realm;
Surrounding you always, loving and supporting you;
Sequence is that you have nothing to fear;
… All is as it should be, and all is well;
What’s in a number looks …
Like angel’s, smells like lavender, taste like manna,
Sounds like God
Liken a thunderous Cloud
God is in this number?

Blessed with God’s wondrous goodness
my three siblings and I* were privileged
to bask in our parents’ graciousness
gladly we indeed acknowledged.
Love prevailed in all corners of our home
may it be North, East, South or West*
securing us well inside haven-dome
where we share family bonding zest.
As kids, we engaged in partnership games
with toys of various shapes like square* forming
along favorite colors and their names
of blue, white, red, yellow** … so heart-warming.
Nurtured to be musically inclined
we sang together joyful choruses
since the Lord has us beauteously designed
into grand quartet*of blended voices.
With less than five* decades of fellowship
midst bliss-filled family extension pacts
we siblings keep in us our warm kinship
thanking God for His marvelous*** acts.
*Word bears or phrases bare the essence of four (4).
**The four colors of our Flag as a nation.
***Revelation 15:3 … Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Segmented straight lines configure
pointed glyph of transformed cross.
In numeral sequence from the top
it’s the second smallest even integer.
After three dark days of primal genesis
when the arch of cosmos needed light,
God created sun, moon and all the stars
on this day, the symbol of universal truth.
This spiritual digit repeated three times,
turns into an angel number seraphic.
Responding to our thoughts and prayers,
it instills courage by numerological power.
At the blind end of life’s unlit path
if the milestone of angel number appears,
in God’s grace you’ll get divine foresight,
beyond dark you’ll see the light of future.

THREE PLUS ONE EQUALS FUN
Once upon a time, no fairytale,
there lived three of us kids,
washing dishes, rolling dice,
kissing mom and dad
goodnight.
Next upon a time, mama
cozily on her bed, yelled out
names and we joined
in this new game…
The three of us, just right for oz...we were the lollipop kids.*
And my brother wanted a monkey, not a sister or brother.
Yet three plus one brought so much fun.
Our sister was fashionable,
funny right from the start,
not a Dollar Store sort.
She loves red lipstick,
leopard patterns
and the Big Apple.*
No doubt three plus one caused our cackles to soar.
Thank goodness the ‘rents stopped or there’d be more.

Mine is a connection twix body and soul
Beliefs based on values, the earth as a whole;
In league with creation of moon and the stars,
To strings am related on tenor guitars.
In marriage enable the vows to confirm
Ensure that relations in love will stay firm.
Extend pragmatism in fields of mystique
Approach every challenge with focused technique
Directing attention in moments of stress
To angels who show you the way to success.
I came from a planet to keep hopes alive;
Of Garde am a number between three and five.

That Number
It's the number that
comes after three,
It's the number that
comes before five,
It's the number that
you cannot see,
It's the number that
you can't say live,
Unlucky number
in the Far East,
Like number 13
out in the West,
It is the New Jerusalem
Foundation,
It is the absolute of
Creation,
It is the sense of
Totality,
The opposite of
Humanity,
Taste like
cocoa,
Smells like
chocolate,
Does not make
you loco,
But just the
opposite,
So just like as
we said before,
We cannot say
the number *_____

You might shout it on a golf course,
It’s the number of digits in my pin,
In Chinese it’s death but let us not show remorse
Because it’s also the code to let angels in.
America’s July signifies the way
Add a zero and it’s ruby by definition,
Add ‘teen’ and it’s Valentine’s Day
but it’s considered unlucky by superstition.
It has the same number of quarters as its name,
It’s used to abbreviate a word.
Count the seasons in this poetry game
It’s not a half, a fifth and most certainly not a third.
It connects the mind, body and spirit,
Is derived from the meaning of creation,
With this many eyes you won’t see it
‘Guessed this number?’ I ask with hope but trepidation.

Our Solar System's planets spin like ours-
but few are 'rocky' ones that share our stars,
like Venus, Mercury, our Earth, and Mars.
For life to grow and thrive on our Earth here,
we need key elements upon its sphere:
earth, water, air, and fire- must persevere.
Each month, our Moon, with us, plays hide and seek
with phases that are spaced and quite unique:
Full Moon, Last Quarter, New, First Quarter streak.
Within twelve months, each quarter they appear-
we call them Seasons, and they grant us cheer;
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter- fill our year.
On this huge Earth, we need help traveling-
to Cardinal directions we need cling,
for North, South, East, and West's unraveling.
For peace- books of the Bible steer our course
in times of happiness and in remorse;
Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John- faiths reinforce.

Three plus one shall arrive one day,
The Holy Trinity and the Almighty shall prevail-
When I speak knowing not what to say,
I shall note that my fate is sealed but one way.
The rising of the Son who strips my veil,
It is the wisest and most loving tale.
Most important is this number, you see;
For time shall stand still when three adds one-
When all the pain of life bestows its debris,
I shall be the woman God called me to be.
I shall rise in faith after the rapture is done,
And in heaven will be welcomed by the Son.
North, South, East and West,
In all directions love shall shine-
Autumn arrives and summer shall rest,
And all who share faith shall be blessed.
For there is no comparing to the divine-
When all of mankind is God’s perfect design.
The Father, Son, Holy Spirit and Almighty-
Together spreading righteous harmony.

With quiet reservations he admires
Attuned to all that senses captivate
To sift thru information he acquires
Considering how it may thus relate
He studies all with intimate precision
For his or any sake that might arise
Unless the fates intend on a collision
Leave supervision to HIS private eyes.

Gift of God is the meaning of my name.
It comes with grace and love that’s all the same,
From Father in his care for me each day,
To guide me and protect me in his way.
Other folks will see me as God’s gift,
For the things I do to help them live.
Gracious Lord I thank you for myself.
One day we will rest from all the strife.
Dear Lord may my gift bless someone’s life.

Veneer of ebon rancor time had spread on my life
Even more opaque it was made by smear of strife
Rinsed by the edifying shower of divine grace
Year on year, I restored my heart’s crystal face.
Pristine humane emotions now transparently flow
Under pellucid layer of my mind radiant ethos glows
Rays reach you all the glimmer of love at nightfall
Embark on the last journey at sated soul’s blissful call.

LEONARDO
Lion, known well as King of the beasts,
Exemplary in strength and brawn,
Obdurate, he knows his passionate will as
Nature calls from his haughty roar has
Animals running and hiding with fear.
Regarded and revered by his pride and
Diurnal in his grassland habitat, he is protector
Of his pride, dines on meals his lionesses provide.
