Lied Poems

When the Oyester's womb lied

In the hollow chamber, I began to take form,
I, all but a grain of silence,
turned luminous by tides, day after day, night after night.
The walls slowly arched like a cathedral,
the veins lit faintly as stained glass.

The ocean daily whispered to me,
sometimes breaking with laughter,
sometimes trembling with grief,
its currents pressing inward,
a secret language etched,
into the marrow

Take my hand

Yesterday you lied
Yesterday you cried
Yesterday you wish you died

Today you sit
Today you quit
Today you have no wit

Tomorrow you keep
Tomorrow you weep
Tomorrow you may even leap

Take my hand

I insist
Don’t resist
Let’s persist

Together we’ll band
Together we’ll stand
Together we’ll never land

The Mirror Lied

I stared into the mirror's glass,
But saw no face, just smoke and ash.
A grin that wasn't mine took hold,
Its teeth were crooked, dead, and cold.

It whispered truths I dared not know,
Of buried screams and blood below.
It showed me hands I'd never raised,
Yet bore the stains of those I razed.

Now every night I meet its gaze,
Trapped

Have you

Have you called ?
Have you kissed ?
Have you missed ?
Even thought ?

Love was gentle when I knew you not,
Your body warm when your name was foreign to my tongue,
Time flew when we just met ,
Stars brighter when we got to meet .

Flowers wither ,
Promises fails,
Love chains,
Hearts lie - u were never mine !

Bittersweet Kiss

We flirted and got closer throughout the day.
Not wanting to get caught, I pray in vain.
Our plans were just a matter of waiting.
Out in the parking lot, I stood patient.
He arrived casual and smiling.

I had my hands shaking.
Behind the open van’s trunk.
I stood still, feeling stuck.
To kiss.
or not to kiss?

My mind raced with raging thoughts.
Two

Lied and Lied and Were Horrified

when Trump lied and lied
after being horrified
each one had denied

with Trump was up tight
he had been terrible sight
filled us all with freight

had heard latest news
Veterans Trump would abuse
take lies back refuse

acts like little kid
we knew Trump God did forbid
of Trump should get rid

I lied to my doctor

Hospital, my general practitioner, helped me two weeks ago.
They asked, what happened? Pain heart, strong heart beating
But why? They asked. Nervous Exhaustion, sleep disorder.

When you lied

Why won't you admit?
It ruined everything
Especially me
A relationship I relied heavily on
One that kept me going
Kept me alive
Kept me sane
You knew what I went through
You knew
So why'd you do it?
Why'd you tell me you were my friend?
You knew you weren't
Apologizing once or twice
Brushing it off saying you won't do it again
But you are
You lied

YOU LIED TO US

Dear God, they say you hate lies,
But God, you lied, you lied to us,

Isn't it written in your holy book?
That we're all equal before you?

Isn't it siad that you love us all?
Why don't you bless us all?

Dear God, why am I a subject of laughter?
Or maybe I'll be happy in the life after.

I'm tired of

You can be lied to talked about plotted against and still win

Some are like gold in your life
Some are gold-plated
Know the difference
Because this will show you the reality of life
You can be lied on
Talked about, plotted against
And still, win
Often people try to spin you in
A direction that is not linked to your purpose
Break free and see the glory of your story
Every season of

Lied with Long Nose that Grows Horn Haiku

when case came to close
Trump lied with long nose that grows
guilty we suppose

my poems may be crude
rather than having been rude
you became unglued

could be contagious
always was advantageous
also courageous

perfect particle
of arousing article
read at sabbatical

drawn with utensil
prepared a Christmas stencil
done with a pencil

on face found a mole
which became my greatest goal
take another pole

when germs are

Rage On

New poem..

Rage On...

Go ahead set me up to be your fall guy
Go ahead groom that person and make it right
There is no strategy no secret keeping that doesnt give off the truth
Nothing will set you free until you find yourself
Find yourself,yourself

The target of your paper genius
The strand of hope that life wont leave you
