Premium Member Stem the Tide

Conquer and divide
Truth is put aside
Freedoms continually denied
Propaganda is how they've always lied
A world through armies forever homicide
The time has now come to stem this evil tide
Spread the word of love that comes from deep inside
Heal the wounds of separation of a gulf that's far and wide
Each individual come together a loving collective we must urgently decide

When the Stars Lied

Written in the stars they said
a future made up of hopes and dreams.

But dreams don't move,
and hope alone can't feel.

Now everything leans towards an ending.

You and me,
staring too long
trying to hold a spark
already gone cold.

A dream we once shared
 dissolves between us,

leaving only the ache
 of love
that no longer loves back.

Premium Member I Lied and I Stole

	      Mordechai Fafoofnik was my (nick)name
Causing my mommy trouble was my game
                   I lied and I stole
                   Just playing the role
Of one whose name left him deeply ashamed

Premium Member I lied and said I would clean

our daughter will be here for Father’s Day
I lied and said I would clean right away
My husband laughed because he knows me
I would rather fall out of a hundred- foot tree

Cleaning is not my thing; I am just saying
I am seventy-three, this is my time for playing
I worked until a year ago, retirement was overdue.
I am not about to waste time on crap that makes me blue.

Take my hand

Yesterday you lied
Yesterday you cried
Yesterday you wish you died

Today you sit
Today you quit
Today you have no wit

Tomorrow you keep
Tomorrow you weep
Tomorrow you may even leap

Take my hand

I insist
Don’t resist
Let’s persist

Together we’ll band
Together we’ll stand
Together we’ll never land

The Mirror Lied

I stared into the mirror's glass,
But saw no face, just smoke and ash.
A grin that wasn't mine took hold,
Its teeth were crooked, dead, and cold.

It whispered truths I dared not know,
Of buried screams and blood below.
It showed me hands I'd never raised,
Yet bore the stains of those I razed.

Now every night I meet its gaze,
Trapped in its ever-twisting maze.
The mirror lied—or maybe not—
I’ve just become the thing I fought.

Have you

Have you called ?
Have you kissed ?
Have you missed ?
Even thought ?

Love was gentle when I knew you not,
Your body warm when your name was foreign to my tongue,
Time flew when we just met ,
Stars brighter when we got to meet .

Flowers wither ,
Promises fails,
Love chains,
Hearts lie - u were never mine !

Lied and Lied and Were Horrified

when Trump lied and lied
after being horrified
each one had denied

with Trump was up tight
he had been terrible sight
filled us all with freight

had heard latest news
Veterans Trump would abuse
take lies back refuse

acts like little kid
we knew Trump God did forbid
of Trump should get rid

Premium Member I lied to my doctor

I lied to my doctor

Hospital, my general practitioner, helped me two weeks ago.
They asked, what happened? Pain heart, strong heart beating
But why? They asked. Nervous Exhaustion, sleep disorder.
                                                                     This was my answer

I lied, was not only these are all the problems. Yes. The pain of my soul
Yes, but everything is okay with my health, only the stress of love
Doctors helped me, so my life is okay. Okay?? Let's continue!

Live to live, life to live, live the life. You will search for me, believe it!
Oh, yes, you don’t care about my pain and health. Waiting for my death?
Yes, I know, because I am in the way of your life, and you can not
                                                                       put me away

I will find someone because I can not delete you from my memory
A lady, and will love her, I give her all my feelings what is yours
Se will get my life, and me, and everything. I will love her, please
                                                                                    monitor it

My doctor will cure me

Vilmos

When you lied

Why won't you admit?
It ruined everything
Especially me
A relationship I relied heavily on
One that kept me going
Kept me alive
Kept me sane
You knew what I went through
You knew
So why'd you do it?
Why'd you tell me you were my friend?
You knew you weren't
Apologizing once or twice
Brushing it off saying you won't do it again
But you are
You lied to me
Again and again
Forgive and forget
But I don't think I can do it this time
Its not worth my time
Your not worth my time

YOU LIED TO US

Dear God, they say you hate lies,
But God, you lied, you lied to us,

Isn't it written in your holy book?
That we're all equal before you?

Isn't it siad that you love us all?
Why don't you bless us all?

Dear God, why am I a subject of laughter?
Or maybe I'll be happy in the life after.

I'm tired of going down on my knees,
A lot in this life I do miss,

All I wear are tatters,
All my dreamy shattered,

Am I a child of a demi god?
I'm a keen keeper of your word

Dear God, I'm here one last time,
At least bless me with a dime,

Answer my prayers like others',
I want to be like others,

Dear God...

You can be lied to talked about plotted against and still win

Some are like gold in your life
Some are gold-plated
Know the difference
Because this will show you the reality of life
You can be lied on
Talked about, plotted against
And still, win
Often people try to spin you in
A direction that is not linked to your purpose
Break free and see the glory of your story
Every season of life
Should give you a reason to try again!
As you retrain your mind
And remove the blind spots that
Often plague human lives
You will realize that you are stronger than the storm
Getting up and trying again should be the norm so
Know who is gold and who is gold-plated in your life
This will make a difference
Because this will show you the reality of life
Yet in the end, you can be lied on
Talked about, plotted against
And still, win

Lied with Long Nose that Grows Horn Haiku

when case came to close
Trump lied with long nose that grows
guilty we suppose

my poems may be crude
rather than having been rude
you became unglued

could be contagious
always was advantageous
also courageous

perfect particle
of arousing article
read at sabbatical

drawn with utensil
prepared a Christmas stencil
done with a pencil

on face found a mole
which became my greatest goal
take another pole

when germs are villain
need to take penicillin
when to are willing

when we were squirming
met someone with much vermin
a gorgeous German

here is what you get
Horn haiku has been better yet
me be best should let

The teardrop lied
Mocked the moment
Seized its opportunity
To defy the honor
of sadness.

A liar was
Lying on the road
And being lied
By some professional liars.
