YOU LIED TO US

Dear God, they say you hate lies,
But God, you lied, you lied to us,

Isn't it written in your holy book?
That we're all equal before you?

Isn't it siad that you love us all?
Why don't you bless us all?

Dear God, why am I a subject of laughter?
Or maybe I'll be happy in the life after.

I'm tired of going down on my knees,
A lot in this life I do miss,

All I wear are tatters,
All my dreamy shattered,

Am I a child of a demi god?
I'm a keen keeper of your word

Dear God, I'm here one last time,
At least bless me with a dime,

Answer my prayers like others',
I want to be like others,

Dear God...
