They weren’t James and John of the Bible
These two risked Writings of Stark Libel:
The shown passion indescribable
Like The Guys’ for Tower of Babel;
James for his North-South Base Latitude,
John for his East and West’s Longitude;
Grant, then, their lone similitude…
John one might forgive some attitude
Pardonable love for solitude
While not absurd his solicitude….
At least, John showed normal gratitude
And his points would make with certitude.
James” tongue you can’t bear with fortitude;
One sentence could gather Multitude,
His voice An Unbearable Amplitude,
His face Poorest Advert for Pulchritude…
...And so once more I summon
this courage to write of thy frame...
Though I wonder if this time I would
not be seriously charged for libel.
Albeit the last time I spoke of thee
just like this one the very same,
I was adjudged for slander...
But still, the courage to conceal
how much it is I think of thee,
Has never found a root in my heart;
Then how could it the least grow
to take thy thoughts from me?!
It matters not what thou thinkest...
Someday thou might well understand.
"Name as many allegations in the book of law:
none of them has right over a faultless love!"
I close my eyes
So I can not see
I close my ears
So I can not hear
I shut my mouth
So I can not speak
I pinch my nose
So I can not smell
The awful fragrance
This government tries to emit
I peel my skin
So I can not feel
Thyself falling away
Thyself torn apart
We were supposed to head onwards
But how?
If we're looking backwards
But not forward
They said they didn't like dictatorship
But why?Why is it that we don't have freedom
The freedom to speak
The freedom to tell who you are
The freedom to tell what you are
You are all arrogant bastards
You of who speak democracy
Brought tyranny to us
You who opposed martial law
Brought it back
Is this really the way?
The way you wanted to lead us
The "tuwid na daan" you were talking about
Maybe you are just dumbfounded
Or maybe you are just dumb?
I rate you
2 out of 10
At least you got 2
Not 1
Pls do comment.

TAT
You know it's not my fault.
You know I'm not to blame.
I will show no shame, why should I?
You have no proof, yet gave my name.
You lied when you have no proof
And I will show no shame.
I can prove it's not my fault.
Everyone will know I'm not to blame.
I will show no shame because
I'm not to blame you spilled the salt.
You surely know you have no proof
And just as well that it's not my fault.
The heavens know its not my fault
And to the world I will show no shame.
You accused when you have no proof
And I will swear I'm not to blame.
Four sentence contest
If I believe in freedom of speech
then I'd better be certain that
I don't say anything bad
concerning powerful
men with expensive
lawyers or they
will bankrupt
me in
