As I lie hear in the dark things become more and more absurd
I am trying to remember this particular word
I struggle in my memory
and in my reverie
Why can’t I recall (it’s frustrating as hell), why do you perturb?
So in its plenary
I struggle in my memory
What is this word
That before I have heard,
Why do you elude my extra-sensory?
It is much like a long-awaited friend
When I remember the word, and put to an end
This frantic revival
Of a word that does rival
The lapse and synapse in my head
The trees smell so real, so sympathetic.
A monument to strength and victory.
They seem like a shoulder to cry on.
Something to rely on in an uncertainty.
The birds still chirp and hold no grudge,
but rather stll try to provide a comic relief smile.
They are still playing grabass,
little cocks on the walk stealing radiator bugs.
Adorning our rule over the Earth in circular totem style.
Even though they are dropping from the sky.
Wading in infested puddles, eating Monsanto Rye.
I'm not a cryer but ....
Where did it all go?
Did reality tv and all their ugly
sided indoctrinating Media offerings do ALL this?
Did we really try to kick Lucy's football all those times, and end up on our dumb asses?
Where do we go from here?
Look for a rhyme?
Civil War, Natural Disasters, Rumors of War, Plagues, Massive Animal Die Offs, Seismic Unrest,
Incoming Asteroids.
What are we doing?
What do we do for an encore?
Maybe it is time to believe in something.
Goodnessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
Logic failing, recall
lacking, tip of the tongue
linguistic challenge. Now
lost for words, what's that word?

Laughter forbidden! Wait!

Lethologica is a condition we all have suffered from where a word is on the tip of your tongue - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tip_of_the_tongue. It's the word that the poor reader was trying to remember and also suffering from.
Litoration - representing sounds by letters. Not much use when dealing with lethologica!
