Lessness Poems

Aboard This Idling Time

Canada geese arrowing south,
Black-op's drone's hum overhead,
their silhouettes caught in the last blush
of a winter sun.

Old woman
sweeping gray hair back into gold
as she bends to a labor
only her eyes remember.

I am going to sell-up,
take this patch of land,
and farm myself out
as a useless yellow hound
for kids to miss
every time
I stupidly kill myself.

The days are chained to each other,
I am ready to jump off
this old blanked-out window
loco
motive-lessness,

follow the geese
to where weird aircraft
are considered the new norm,
and question nothing -

all answers are soft landmines
for the heavy-footed.

We tend to give a little more
to the little ones.
Nonetheless,
it's not a matter of
belittlement.
The lesson in lessness,
is not a matter of nothing less
nor nothing else
nor is it about starving to nothingness.
Nevertheless, it's more or less
about giving a little less in
little bits of littleness,
in meager, measly morsels,
that just suffices
and leaves one
just less than starving,
but with a little more
hunger within,
yet to be satisfied.

Dark hour of morning green and jealous sun.
Flag’s red, white, and blue leans over the porch.

Oak branches, bored, and skeleton but wood.
The leaves too still, no breath of life, no sigh.

M a h o g a n y - s a t u r a t e d f l o w e r s
in frame with inky stems, ebonic blend.

The missing link between Winter and Spring
does spread its wings, still life below the clouds.

Oh! I hear it! Oh! I knew it! The rain
o b s i d i a n does wake - the s h a t t e r i n g,
a m e l a n c h o l y roar, a s i l e n t pour.

There is hope fulness, hope lessness in it.
A tediousness-grace, beside next day.
A full out vortex burst of rosy cheeks,
this day tempers. The birds concur with me.

caffeine circles my brain, loaded, laughing. i jolt upright in my sleep…
lessness. the ride through time….woke up in pea-thick fog, drank two
cups, went to church to pray and praise. chomped a burger, fries and
freed some more caffeine from an ice cold cup. worked a Sunday after
jet-lagged Saturday. arrived back home to hugs and laughter,
and the napster who’d snooze before my return. promissory playdough
date kept him rather late. downed a fluffy cup of mud
and set out to take grands home.
a rather wakeful day followed by a restless night…of this i write.
seems i’ll be hitting the snooze button, like a jeopardy contestant.

Thoughts

thoughts freeze i the womb
feigning impotence circles of
thougtlessness importuned verily
faking improbable lies

thoughts flares in the grey cells
fuming fire in the field of
thought lessness faking orgasms
forging signs of minds
thought flips turbulence sets
fidgeting fingers naked nails bleed
thoughtless fiery mind at rest
fulminant blood flows quietly

Absorption

Leaving a darkened space
Dumbfounded amazement at the scene
Feel the absorbing fabric of self and place

Brightness consumes, permeates
Mind becomes
Light is simultaneous thought, so ceasing

The eyes retire at the sight
Of seeing
Such motion and color

It moves clackety, yet undulating
Like slow motion fluid in a dream, a heartbeat pulses
Screaming, speed slows the mind
To turn in on itself

Liquid in space
On inner swirling orbits

Satellite beeping, beam spinning
Fine focus

Focus Absorbed into absorption
Passes through the hidden keyhole

Exiting into
Size-lessness
The unseen vision

Consumes itself
Into
The ever-expanded singularity
Which has never gone anyplace
Mystery and forgetting remembrance

Endless brilliant awakenings
Bring cascades of staggered youths
Hope and acceptance of awe
Brings those reliefs

Endless times can become apparent
In the course of time

The Origin

Infinite space and finite planets
Born before yesterday
And going beyond tomorrow
In the eternity of time,
Interlinked with the chemistry of
‘Creation   and Destruction;
’Life and Death,
The elusive phenomena
Beyond palpable comprehension.
	 The limitlessness of time
	 And measure lessness of space
In between the genie and the factor ‘G’
	 Is a lingering concept
	 Contriving to wreck all notions
	 That exists in this universe
Born spontaneously as interactions of elements of the COSMOS
The products as CHAOS, inhabit the ever rotating planets
Like a dream, bad enough, seeking its portent that baffles the intellect
Forget you Man, the intangible concept,

The existence that plagues your mind;
You are supreme, all concept come from you.
You create your destiny.
There is nothing more than life and death
That are for you to enjoy.

My Thoughts

The loneliness so silently descends.
My mind is mixed, confused, so wrong the feel
Of death, a loss of one no thing can mend.
The touch is gone: the hurt, a broken seal.
The battle done: the pain, so long the fight.
The war, the tears, the cries wash o’er with thoughts;
And what I’d do to make this right tonight
and end the suffering, a glimpse much sought.
A last warm hand so cold, an ice of touch-
My screams “Come back! Come back!” of shame, of sin
So mute, so plain, unfair, just not enough.
The fate, in place on stone engraved in pen.

Come back to me that’s all I ask, with hope-
lessness, I hide so desperate to cope.
