In the lea of the rolling soft bends
there’s a spot fills me with a shiver
where the warmth and the cool softly blends.
somewhere between ocean and river.
Tall trees grow shorter and slimmer
as the scent of the ocean takes hold
the light of the moon shining dimmer
casting shadows grown gnarly and old.
As icy salt air curls everything near
slow rising to reach the tall peak
old fishermen sit on the edge of the weir
paying heed to the winds as they speak.
Knowing the seasons beginnings and ends
in the lea of the rolling soft bends.

Little Jamie Lea
She saw a pretty bumblebee
It landed on a big pine tree for little Jamie Lea to see
Please come and play with me, said Jamie to the bumblebee
But the pretty bumblebee, flew away from Jamie Lea.

Blood masks the lea, the blasted loam
upon whose breasts soldiers came home.
The earth, herself, held each to chest
the mist of sky killed with each breath
as ruined green became their tomb.
Men strafed by shells and gassed by fume:
cast akimbo, blown to their doom
entrenched, barb fenced; death coalesced;
blood masks the lea.
Eight million French, their valor shown;
most shy twenty lay beneath stone:
Russians, Brits, Italians, Yanks, rest
thirty seven million, our best
slaughtered and listed in old tomes;
blood masks the lea.

What happened to us? Did it just take one night?
How does a beautiful friendship turn into mistrust and fights?
Everyone was against us. Did our love make us blind?
We seemed to be winning the race, and now we're so far behind.
I love you. I love you! Me and you, It's my life.
If money didn't matter, I would make you my wife.
Nothing makes me happier then to see a smile on your face.
I love your style, your car, your taste, and your place.
It's home to me, baby. You invited me into your world.
My angel, my treasure, my dream, and my girl.
The one I held close at night and hung out with all day.
The one I fought for her rights, the one who took my breath away.
We've had our ups, we've had our downs, and if this you happen to read,
I want you to know that I love you. Lea, it's you that I need!

Leafy meadow
He lies her down
Defrocked from
Her summer gown
Bodies bronzing
In the blazing sun
Natures wanting
Scents will run
Exploration
As their hands caress
He gentles down
On her body, impress
She welcomes her love
Through her gates of bliss
In this place of colour
Kiss after kiss
Their sweat-ed dew
In the sun glistens
Natures audience
Warmly listens
A gentle breeze
As the plant life sways
Like the rhythmic action
On her he lays
Orchestral sounds
Echo their all
Moans and groans
Their loving vocal
They sigh in tandem
Sharing each other
Collapsing in cuddle
In this lea of clover

A wheaten radiance gleams;
Dancing with the wind.

Horizon of knelling bells
Adequate feeling bestowed
Hue, odor, sound, sensation
Harmoniously dwell
Tangible gnosticism
Catharsis
Potency yells
Largess
Ample satisfaction
Darkness, Thy power quells
Allah, family, thought
Camelot...Freedom
