Even in a dark world, you think their is light
Every time I open my eyes, nothing but pain in my sight

People are hurting, bodies are deteriorating, minds going crazy
Every morning, I wake up and ask God why does this have to be

Babies are getting kidnapped, and being taken from their homes
Women losing their life because they're getting beat on

Families are losing their houses and love ones every day because of fires
Government making plans, and taking food out of our mouth

The black race is getting taken back to slavery days
Now they want to end all black everything and take away our pay

Freedom is getting hard for all illegal immigrants
Being deported and rounded up by "ICE" taken back to their homeland

It's a pain every day to look at social media or the news
Every day, someone is getting shot and murder for public views

Young children are getting lazier every day by the minute
They just want to be on any platform shaking their ass for pennies.

Premium Memberleave red panda alone please

Red panda was lazier than his friend the sloth
Just leave me alone, he said to Goth
If I want to raise my head I will later
But this second I want to lie like a gator

Hindrance To Remembrance

I know of a hindrance
To Needful Remembrance:
To the mind a weapon,
Recalls: Luckless Coupons…

To stop getting hazier
We all know Amnesia
That thoughts makes lazier
And The Thinker lousier!
Ten times, “What did you say?”
And you’d repeat, “No Pay”
“Please, what’s your name, again?
And replies grant No Gain!
“All Roads to Hospital”
But we’re coming back with Little;
Amnesia comes to stay
And you’d better make a way?

Premium MemberRedolent

redolent roses
just steps away from moonlight
in shadows of night

invisible bliss
colors unseen on the green
as flashing stars roam

romantic spiced scents
the shouts have become whispers
pink robin's dreaming

endless velvet night
lazier than the day, and
black cherry sunset

Marveously Dcevious

Sometimes i touch
with shadow softness
c/u/t/ with diamond lazier
could Kent beat super
wander the wonder as woman wanders her wonders
Mystiquely storming
Val and Kerri flying beside

Olive Copse

Olive copse

Sitting indoors being old and are forbidden
to go outside, I dream of lazier days
then in the heat of summer, I had siesta under
a 500 years olive tree.
I was dreaming of the shepherds who slept under
this tree and the only sound was grazing sheep and the occasional barks of a dog.
I can smell the cheese he ate and the wine he drank
before they drifted into a slumber.
The sheepherders got old and died but the tree grows
bigger and bore fruit.
There was poverty here and a new generation wanted
a better life, they went to America to find gold
and get married to Amanda.
Alas, factories paid well, they married no Amanda, but
someone of hardier, hairdresser stuff.
I wonder if they ever dreamt of the old days when the sun was hot, sleeping under an olive tree.

An Appointment

a day like
any other
day but X
on the monthly
photos of Mount
Fuji calender says
different

as circus
clowns with
painted smiles
juggle the day's
events for this yes
undecidedly different
day of days

finding myself
driving in non gps
directions but calmly
listening to piano waltz
variations on this very one
can only say variant day of
days

then not
a sign of the
apocalypse but
careful doors open
by themselves leaves
me thinking lazier and less
needing to be

but ocd
counts moments
from being here and when
i can enter the automated world
of a building that feels and even
smells of potential insanity yet feels
welcome

now i find
i'm face to
face with the
person who has
created me to be
the functioning socially
one i am

he asks
about what
since last time
fine fine fine walking
life's tightrope line above
an abyss that is all but three
inches below

he says
seemingly
knowing that i'm
fine fine fine showing
a graph of where i was
then and where i'm happily at
smiling

saying
see you
next time
but this time
make it four months
you're still crazy i assure
you have a good day

Marriage As a Vehicle: Two Drivers

He jumped into the vehicle,
By the staring he praised the Oracle.
Billed the pedals,scolded the horn,
Clutched the clutch,pricked by fun.

Potholes and howling gutters
KIA on the way, tossing their triggers.
Hay and dusk blowing ordeals,
Omen of bitterness lurking in the lorry.

And then he visited the filling station,
Then 'over did he the staring to his lover.
His lover now in remonstration hover-
"Potholes feud, traffic strangling notions".

Jogging into potholes, she pricked her lover "The Lazier".
She has forgotten : Marriage's toss by two drivers.

Know This My Lover

Darling, pray that our love does not fade
the flower of desire blooms in a deep blush
Amongst passions planted and firmly laid
in secret interludes and whispering hush

My sweetheart, sing again our heart's song
with that angel voice so Heavenly made
Laced with sweet purity , flowers so strong
rainbow colors with stems of the greenest jade

My lover, remember the secret places that we love
the deep wooded cabin , the cliff hanging above
Rejoice in the climb to such heavenly heights
the sweet moans that shattered the silent night

My woman, know your heart and love are returned
My princess, our passion forever will be burned

Robert J. Lindley , 07-20-2014

This just woke me up from sleep. Had to bang it down
before I forget any of it!!
Has been a couple years since this happened and that
write only my wife has read as it is too racy to opening
reveal!
This one is much tamer, which means I am either getting
 older, lazier or more complacent!
None of the three inspires me but something sure inspired
this late night , wake the hell up write!!!!

Lazy

A little lazier...
Perhaps a little more...
Seeing things a little hazier
And a smile... did I just adore?

And I drank... can I have a straw?
I wanna ask... but I wish not to speak
Maybe if I am to draw?
Another smile... for my fingers are weak

Have I listen enough?
This piece of music that was set on repeat
And I hear myself laugh
DO NOT MOVE... my mind do plead

And I begin to think... did I?
Simply nothing... simply without a thought
And I feel my strength returning... to hide
Did I just wanna think?... perhaps not

A little sleazier...
Only... to be a little more
How much more lazier?
Yet a smile... I do adore
