Hold the Applause

Hold the applause
As the last note holds it’s breath
Before the keynote
Exhales
Before the melody
Takes a solitary journey
Into a taciturn hush.

Nascent
Waits
Like an incognito coda,
A second ending,
Rejecting the downbeat of resolution.

A breathless
Motif
Expands
Into the glorious,
Unfolding
Into fresh synonyms,
Anointed arias,
Unfolding like auroras
In stanzas
Pregnant with commas.

Premium MemberGod Is King

God is King! He is robed in majesty and strength.
                        The world is his throne.
O Lord, you have reigned from prehistoric times,
                       from the everlasting past.
The mighty oceans thunder your praise.
You are mightier than all the breakers
pounding on the seashores of the world!
Your royal decrees cannot be changed.
Holiness is forever the keynote of your reign.

Premium MemberA Bearded Hunk

Was always a frail lad growing up
Girls looked at me and giggled
Had a scrawny physique and my looks
Made them wiggle and jiggle

Now I'm this handsome bearded hunk
Can't beat 'em off with a stick
Not complaining I'd like you to know
Perhaps a hard edge brick

Maybe it's the bunch of money I'm worth
Could be many many reasons
Like the Hollywood star I've become
Or the smell of tulips in season

Whatever it was sure sounds good to me
One a night for an hour each
The gods are surely shining down on me
Think I'll write a keynote speech

Change Upon Us

The Piscean Age, at it's close,
Will overlapp, doubling the frequency,
..... as an Octave interval.
When this happens, a new Keynote is struck,
Then the beginning of a new World Age.

Premium MemberA Special Thanks To the Bumbles

A Special Thanks to the Bumbles

We give thanks to the creator
for you, special pollinator,
the miracle of natural homes
for workers, queens, eggs and drones.
Golden like the noonday sun
colors like no other ones.
Hail all power to the queen
keynote speaker of the scene.
Thank you to the laid-back guys
fathers of the honey hives.
Let’s clap for the worker chaps
who gather up the pollen schnapps.
And then the ones who give a sting.
Thanks again for everything
that bumble hum close to the ear
when we just don't want you there.
We cannot say it ever too soon
women cannot wear perfume.
How strange that from your angry brood
would come this tasty, healthy food.

You are invited to our Symposia on civil discourse--
The keynote lecture is titled 'Look before you leap'
during which you'll have to put your device to sleep--
Note that the presenter is by both sides of the aisle endorsed

After lunch will be a session on self-restraint--
Overcoming temptations to text or to tweet
no matter if done in a manner discrete--
With tips ranging from cutting edge to quaint

Wrapping things up will be a talk on listening with respect--
Featuring "If I understand you correctly then,..."
or "If you will permit me to make a suggestion,..."
~ And that's a preview of what from our Symposia to expect!

Examinations a Devil Part 1

Dear students Examinations denote
That you and teachers clearly emote
Their feelings out and try to devote
Their time and energy for this rowboat.
Mind that nurtures it will surely vote
Their success to teacher to roam afloat.
Let be a doctor, teacher or student tote
Examinations did need a nice quote.
Whether you be known or remote
Is decided by many reports wrote.
Evil or bad about exams is misquote
By all as it leads us to get more groat.
Ravana like teachers do connote:
Exams are tiny tot like just a mote.
The only tool which writes footnote
For children and save them from a dote.
Lastly, it is just like Gita a good keynote.

On Readers Digest 4

Dear readers, Reader’s Digests denote
That readers read and clearly emote
Their feelings out and try to devote
Their money and time for this rowboat.
The mind that reads it will surely vote
Their success that is sure to roam afloat.
Let be a doctor, teacher or student tote
This is a boon that always does quote
Famous personalities known or remote;
Ideas or thinking or reports wrote
Jokes, humour or news or misquote
All are fitted in just a little groat.
Unlike Narada, RD does connote:
Little price, high yields in a mote.
The only book with a lot of footnote,
This will save us from being a dote.
Lastly, it is like Gita a good keynote.

Who Are Whiskey Palians Not Sarah Palins

In my whole life, many things have occurred
Be rest assured Episcopal Church is preferred
Believe in mediocrity not getting too deep
And in service some people even fall asleep.

About them don't want to be over-cynical
What they believe in is called ecumenical
Priests support church down to last shingle
Considering it to be united and also single.

Moderation is alive as well as their keynote
In how they think and which way they vote
This is why their church grew and grew
Whiskey was allowed and can drink a few.

Differences in people should not be stressed
This is why by God they all have been blessed
And when own egos they are impressed by
Church ceases to exist and then does die.

What I really meant and continue to mention
God is always center of church's attention
In His Son Jesus we have found a friend
Knowing our church will not come to an end.

Scything

Why did your hand
become the fist ?
You were thinking about the indignities
heaped upon the lake,
when you were retrieving a song
of freedom from the depth of questions.

There was no capitulation.
You went on opening the congealed-
blobs of blood to know
the keynote of violence.

The sectarian hate.
It outlives the love of brotherhood.
You want to go back to, from where
the jungle starts. It had swept
away the snow-white young
peaks.

Footprints of some movement.
Can you see that ?

Rainbow Coloured Concord

Teardrops fall, upon tiles of black and white,
playing the hearts melody,a soulful insight,
key's of seven,scaling higher notes,
crying octaves, which the soul has slowly wrote....

The flats and the sharps, added to the strings,
enhancing the feeling,which despondency brings,
distant wanderings,in search of understanding,
only too find,the distant meanderings....

Sheets of music,arranged and composed,
within' compartments,subjectively transposed,
sweet melodic interludes,stages of transition,
blazing cresendos,marking a soul's position....

From the beginning keynote,awakening desire,
songs of silent streams,gracefully aspire,
extending toward heights lofty in nature,
rainbow coloured concord,serendipitously demure....

Boundage

Dedicated to a Nun that was raped by a Hindu gang in Orrisa in India.

Bondage dawdles but dauntless rambler.
Glimmers as goblin a goblet gambler.
A heartburn glory chalks a chandelier.
A granite lineage outdistanced gondolier.

Responsive restitution a splitter sponger,
Guttural estuary grumbles bounded cavalier.
A bony strangled receptacle receiver,
Keynote bolted storm violate believer.
