jigsaw puzzle Jerry was alone in the world, or so he thought
He found Jeremy, jigsaw snail, as soon as he stopped looking for a friend.
They were happy as friends, wonderful pals who never fought.
Their loyalty and respect for each other never faltered, it never did end.

Each passing day puts on display
a puzzle piece of jigsaw soul.
Providing parts to add to hearts,
from halfway done to fully whole.
The bygone years are souvenirs,
the trinkets of a time gone by;
though caked with rust, dried blood, and dust,
they stain, then fade, but never die.
The decades roll and ring a toll
for lessons taught but slowly learned.
Experience, with common sense,
shall grow, rebuilding bridges burned.
The wisdom found on weathered ground
repays, with interest, youthful debt.
Each piece a shred, profusely bled,
but, joined as one, a finished set.

When the genius
arrived on Venus
in a shuttle
he was shocked to see a jigsaw puzzle.
He tried to fix Heather
by putting the pieces of her heart together
but faced bad weather
so he eventually reached the end of his tether.
He decided to not to let another minute go to waste
so he made haste
with his return
to Saturn.

Just a big box of cardboard shapes
Individual pieces defined
Goodness, that feels like you and me
Slowly, yet surely, is all it takes
And in good time, they'll fit, side by side
Why then, I've got to ask, why don't we?

Our differences
Are like the pieces of a puzzle called life
Where the picture on the box
Shows all joys and all strife
Shapes fit just the same
The bright and the dull
Mis-shapes take some time
As we chew and we mull
In the end it's all fine
Unique in it's beauty
An imperfect image
Released from all duty
To conform to the world
With it's rules, fascinations;
They say we don't fit
We defy expectations
So here we abide
With the 'freaks' and outsiders
Discarding the outer, as
What matters? Inside does.

JIGSAW POPULATIONS
Our differences are like the pieces of a puzzle called life
Shapes that may not all fit together, yet one always will
To achieve a harmonious well-fitting picture is the goal
Sometimes their images connect to complete the whole
But it’s the many attempts that are the grist to the mill
To build a picture, to be celebrated with drum and fife

By the meadow a jigsaw puzzle gets completed
Basked in moonlight from the mountain
Left and right, pieces go, left and right.
All the naughty caterpillars and the bugs
Share their naughtiness crawling through the pieces:
Left and right, they spread, left and right.
Such naughtiness is best kept secret!
Even if the darkness makes no promise
It's best kept hidden in its arms!
Left and right, nothing goes, left and right.

"When we feel our lives falling to pieces.
it's best to gather them, place in sunlight...by poet
Pieces of our lives, like jigsaw puzzles,
fitting in places, rejected in some.
If unkind, through those I quickly hustle,
expertly avoiding those with no sun,
selecting those with a long distance run.
Searching for joyfulness I want to keep;
yet, when I look farther, go very deep,
sad pieces fit, catching me unaware
Those only surface when I am asleep,
fitting nicely, their sadness I must bear.
Some are whimsical, at those I can smile,
such lovely colors make happiness spring.
Unique shapes of a life I hope worthwhile.
Shapes of my children, I lovingly bring
Pieces that fit so well, I want to sing.
Now my life puzzle is nearing complete
Many pieces I would love to repeat
Life, like the puzzle, adds pieces with time
A few may be sad, and some bittersweet
Filling each space is a distance we climb.

Life is having the grand picture
That the jigsaw pieces compose.
This is what makes it an adventure:
Setting out for where one knows.
As the pieces fall into place
The player's satisfaction grows.
So does his joy, confidence and grace,
And it follows him wherever he goes!
Finding God is the jigsaw puzzle:
The maker of a man within nine months,
Who brings us about in a miracle
Revealing his power even in our births!
We have a duty to seek this god
Like freshly born turtles from the sand
That to the deep blue sea will plod
Immediately they get hatched on the land.
As surely as fertilization to birth
For the human fetus takes nine months,
The one who mapped out all this path
Will reward all the taken lengths.

To us
Complete sharing is difficult sometimes
Every man takes into his possessions
A little piece of the land
A little piece of the sky maybe temporary
And some even a little piece of the sea
To join the jigsaw puzzle pieces
To produce a picture of his own dream

accepting this-ness of body and mind
duality that grips us in its bind
struggling to overcome adversity
conscience would have us uphold piety
how within this maze, Gods light may we find

She was bored with the TV and with her book
With puzzles too the same she was never unstuck
Needed something that would occupy her mind
When upstairs in the closet a jigsaw she did find
Over a thousand pieces she would put together
The picture when done of a boat in hot weather
Her table would do as she now made a start
Joining up the pieces and then pulling them apart
Three days later while her tea was brewing
This mammoth jigsaw proved her undoing
For she was both certain and also very sure
There was a missing piece in the jigsaw

Neti neti, not this, not this! Negating illusions ephemeral, searching for the eternal, that that neither comes nor goes, the jigsaw puzzle becomes complete upon recognising that the entity searching, in as a separate identity must first vaporise! That that remains, as presence unstained, is That!
Where be the centre
of our formless consciousness?
Throb of bliss beckons!

Shhhh! Be quiet! Listen!.. Did you hear that?
I can hear from afar!
Every night the same time..
The door slowly creeking ajar.
A forever changing environment..
Some say 4 seasons in a day.
I like to say come prepared..
Your more adaptable that way.
Are all the pieces there?
Your cryptic moment shines like a star..
Very few will understand your mindset..
Uniqueness is your jigsaw repertoire.
Everything has to be in order..
For all the pieces to fit.
Multilayers of energy and emotions..
A lifetime in each puzzle bit.
So try not be too serious..
You've a lifetime thus far..
No one can predict the future..
In your jigsaw repertoire!

Odd pieces fit
To puzzle wit
Strange movement here
In broken cheer
Odd strains echo
As glimmer glows
Strange music sums
A moody hum
Odd this odd trace
In time and space
Only this face
Seems out of place
Odd as odd looks
This fleeting book
Words leak way
Worn out by play
Odd this odd say
Upon the way
