If you’ll take your final exam
I’ll be the invigilator
Questions are big pieces of yam
You must understand to the core.

I’ll be the invigilator
To walk around every minute
Making sure that no one will cheat.

Questions are big pieces of yam
But don’t try to copy from friends
That will be your major offense.

You must understand to the core
Questions need to be read twice, thrice
Pray for wisdom, be honest guys!

Premium MemberThe Brave Brussels Sprout That Saw Christmas Out

The memory span of the average sprout
Means he forgets why the light is out
If life in a fridge will be life without end
Never forget that the dark is your friend

                             *

And hidden away in a refrigerator
A brave little sprout needs no invigilator
He’d tucked himself between some beans and a leek
And went undiscovered throughout Christmas week

But now that the trifle and cheeses aren’t there
The fridge is beginning to feel rather bare
The spaces within have become wide agape
With few nooks and crannies in which to escape

He’s watched as his friends were all taken and eaten
But this little sprout was too brave to be beaten
He may be just one single sprout, small and green
But he can be ruthless and ever so mean

He knew that the sound of the footsteps nearby
Meant somebody sharing his fridge could soon die
But he’ll stop at nothing for self preservation
He pushed the leek forward without hesitation

It’s dark in the fridge which should aid his concealment
And save him the sight of leftovers congealment
He thought he’d be safe in the darkness inside…
But screamed like a bean when the door opened wide!

My Note

My note
I want to write a note
With the taste of bile
I want to write a note
To Samson and not Delila
I want to know in the note
Why Delila didnt have eyes
To see it coming
Why didnt she know it was coming?
I want yo write a note
And in the note I shall note
That I am an investigator
Not an invigilator
I seek to know
Why Samson had to lie
Why he still lies
Why Samson lives on
within us today
And Why the present Delila
Has never seen it coming
I want yo write a note
But i can't see my pen
Has Samson hidden it?
C'mon Samson
Do i look like Delila?
I can see it coming
Mr giant,I shall find my pen!
It's gonna be sooner
Than your long strides
I shall soon write my note

My Call

You only go to heaven if I go to hell,
There’s no invigilator, caller or bell,
No church regulatory board to seal,
The fate of the many’s dying peal.

There are boards of regulation,
But no unified voice of veneration,
To salute for marking boundaries,
Saving from godly inflammatories.

There is no heaven physically,
That we can see or view visually,
No location in space to validate,
Bigots voices who do imprecate.

I rather think it an aesthetic value,
A vague opinion for kids to follow,
Not a framework rational and clear,
For choosers to accept with cheer.

In the Exam Hall

Ding dong!
the warning bell
'only ten minutes left'
invigilator announces
so many problems are yet to be solved
passing remains a dream again
let me write a poem
before the next
ding dong.

Scarecrow

Invigilator par excellenence

Dressed in rags and standing adamant

In soul-killing solitude

Wedded to inane duty of scaring birds

Drawing attention of solitary wayfarers

Seizing with wonder the innocent children

Of farmworkers

Vanguard of farmhouse- frightening spectacle

For wild animals who otherwise would devour

the cattle.

Happily swinging and singing with winds

Tossing in glee with corns

So unromantic that unmoved by the spring

Lcking flamboyance of gulmohr and gaudy

Flowers

which change color like chamaleon

With touch of promiscuous seasons

doesn't move,so stoic.

Unprotected in rain- sun -winter

Sans wages sans praise performing duty

With steadfastness,an epitome of loyalty,

Simplicity and commitment...
