looking at an object
versus looking in a mirror
the preposition shifts
from separation to union
introspecting thus
let boundaries blur
that our perception be
undifferentiated

here we are, abiding in bliss energised stillness
then an earthy agenda calls upon us to act
for there is a mundane task to be performed
in as ordained in our earth life role we so chose
hesitancy, if it arises, to dive into gross matter
does it not signal addiction to our comfort zone
what is that that inhibits our meditational orientation
merely by altering activity mind-body is to perform
introspecting thus we ascertain the cause within
being our inability as yet to bilocate fickle attention
which as yet has tendencies toward inertia or tamas
preferring to stagnate somewhere rather than flow
the aspect of consciousness that stagnates is ego
therefore as yet traces of feral residue remain within
restricting free and unfettered movement of presence
across all realms and domains in vibrant nonchalance

It was a long day.
Started in praise and feeling blessed.
Guided by steps of clock hands.
Another chance to chase dreams.
To create and build a foundation for days ahead.
Yearns to achieve set targets and goals.
To meet up with numerous expectations.
Ups and downs associated with stress.
Yet, a necessary evil.
There is hope for joy at sundown.
To relax under the shadows of the night sky in the arms of family.
Introspecting and retrospecting to consider continuity or amendment.
And surely, to end in praise and feeling thankful.

I want to wrap my gift in words
Sincere and true as its brand
Appreciation is what I can afford
With your wrinkled hands, I can understand
Your endless love glows like a torch
Lighting our way to each destination
You held my hand, introspecting much
Where it should lead to the right equation
Freed us from bother
You're worth more to us than anything
Your support is incomparable, my dear mother
investing time and affection for us to bring
Your smile on your face
Resembles the colorful rainbows
During dusk and full of grace
Your smile brightens a sunset’s show
Dear Mother, on your 83rd birthday
May joy and laughter abound in your heart
And may you live peaceful and worthwhile days
You are created by our God’s hand of art

At the dead end of broken road, losing hope
my introspecting mind took a disengaging view
of life wandering in wasteland, trying to cope
with trying times to reach the destination new.
I heard someone from within say, explore around,
acquiesce with the searing surge of dormant desire.
So, travelling across the landscape of life I found
you in dew-drenched meadow donning spring attire.
Trailing your footprints I traced a new pathway,
while the rising sun splashed colors on your face,
enticing me to see the tinge of first love on display,
in the arms of yearning we were locked in embrace.
I lifted my buoyant mind from the craving debris,
when the ordained time came for me to depart.
I then knew where my life would be taking me
as I would walk away with my hand on my heart.

NEARNESS TO GOD
Humble heart honoring honesty and holiness
by Grace and Glory of God
staying salient silent settling in Supreme soul,
seeking strength and solace from Super-power.
praying for pure pristine peace.
Self-sensation acquired by blessings
of Almighty cascading in opulence on me
introspecting ethereal ecstasy.
Mind in muse moistened by magnificence and majesty
of eternal sublime spirit sheltering me.
My divine bliss lies in firm belief of guidance of God
on primrose path of truth with dauntless determination.

Twinkling in the dark, rings of soul
Burst from the inner world and exposed to outer space meeting soul mate
Time and space are amplified like a pendulum
Shape of soul changes and the colours sprinkle of azure and green mixture
Gone to dark stars and smoked all around in chains of fire
Rings of soul laughed at flash back, introspecting now over the world of timeless

Memories beyond time
Once embracing my tender wrists,
now tired watches lay dropped on woods,
Waking me up with first ray of sun, asleep with set,
only to find years and decades pass by,
Constant Memories that keep me introspecting,
as I see the twilight appear and wither,
Proving Einstein's theory of relativity,
while people are lost in materialism,
I am being spendthrift with words so sublime,
anticipate they live even after the concluding day,
On every timeline hangs a malignant memory,
to create history and for moving on and on !!

Lines are drawn at birth
Genetics deciding our worth,
Lead along by the media on a stick
Truth burns thin, reaching the bottom of the candle wick
Born alone
Into this body I own,
Stepping face first into the unknown,
Naïve and panic prone.
Mother tried to raise me right,
Taught me how to swallow my pride; to be polite.
That the world’s a dark place when someone shuts off the lights,
She says everything will be alright, then cries herself to sleep every night.
Never owned anything I didn’t have to take
Stealing, manipulating, and lying for my own sake,
I’ve made a few haunting mistakes;
Some holding me down like ten ton shoes, anchored breathless at the bottom of the lake.
Father showed me how to be a man,
That there is not a single problem that can’t be outran
Yet sooner or later we all face the hangman,
Fleeing our problems only leads us back where we began.
Gone are the days of simplicity,
A foggy memory,
Head in the clouds
Lost in nostalgic sounds.
Introspecting what I’ve become
Drifting through the days as they come,
The deadline for adulthood arrives too early;
The death of my imagination surely.

The very essence of reality
Pricked the man's four chambered pump
Today he became a dumbfounded child
Taken aback by the simple reply
He was brought back to the ground
From the fanciful flight of his own little dream
She said"Distance is the river I cannot cross"
These simple words drowned the pictured life
His whole self was shaken to the core
That river lost him all
Trying to recuperate
And
Introspecting the things he said and heard today
He now asks" Why can't my dream be my reality?"

I can’t believe, I am in ICU
Now that I am, Life want to see U
From ICU, THROUGH ICU... ... ...
Retrospecting.... .... ...
Using morality and spirituality as a cornerstone
Devotedly set off to build mansion of success
Laid Foundation solid, walls incomplete for right stones
Fear of losing or sense of deprivation never put me down
FAITH in HIM, not barring belief that I am chosen one
Chose HIS mission to raise the bar in everyone
Now that I am in ICU
Life want to see U, BEYOND ICU... ... ...
Introspecting.... ... ...
Many believe, ICU is a stage between Life and Death
However, Life is stage, ICU the break-in-between
Karma’s audience evaluating life-death cycle umpteen
Worry never resolves, Destiny ever evolves
In HIM Life's solution lies, in death too HIS solution lies
Nobody can create vacuum, NO BODY can fill vacuum
Now that I am in ICU
Life, want to see U, WITHOUT ICU... ... ...
