Paul Revere

18th April 1775 on the strong big-boned mare
'Brown Beauty' may have been her name
borrowed from John Larkin a very good horse
of Narragansett Pacer fame
a copper-bottomed silversmith
Son of Liberty Patriot and Boston-born
riding with Prescott and Dawes toward Lexington
then Concord minutemen in advance to warn
of the British Army's actions
was intercepted in Lincoln but doing his bit
the man had lanterns as the plan
and arranged to have a signal lit
in the Charlestown Old North Church
with one if by land two if by sea
but in those long-gone days
as it was unknown technology
right then and there
it was quite unlikely to see
three if by air
some say vestryman Pulling and sexton Newman
(not a deacon)
as the midnight rider never made it all the way
were the real heroes of the day in fact quite a beacon

Donald Trump is the felon on the loose

Immortal mind, my ghost follows my every move.
Intercepted thoughts, clearheaded internal function.
Machines roam this world, time of the metal mind,
loss of human conscience, Elon Musk taking over the world!

Political confusion, MAGA intrusion, January 6th.
Hate your neighbor! Love your enemy! Donald Trump!
Constitution is the thing of the past, lock her up!!
No excuse given, just pure ignorance, deportation of the nation.

Ignorance is the new tolerance, felon on the loose.
Confrontation and threat to win at all costs,
news and propaganda, billionaires agenda.

It all pays for these shiny heads,
the orange man, monkey business as usual,
million dollar loan, the new world is unborn,
inheritance births the degenerates, Donald Trump.

Intercepted time

Intercepted time in a wind is gone,
traveled through past would it last?
Questions I have asked I've missed
the task to say goodbye, but I have cried,
and also lied, but the deepest regrets
towards my parents like the old bets
have disappeared, I have feared,
I would never see their faces again.

But then all of the tears
have erased all of my fears as
their love like a beautiful dove song
and a King Kong, message was strong.
We love you.

AI: An AndIdote to Regret

Youth is not on my side anymore
Dreams yet to load from my analog days
Caught up in the bitrate of life
A legacy model looming
up an exponential curve

Heuristic hallucinations take flight
Missiles of meaning miss their mark.
Upscaled re-runs of the same
Intercepted by inaptitude
Shot down by time

But tools are emerging
Bridging the gap
Between ideas and ability
Sparking a reboot revolution
No longer a sandbox simulation

Overthrowing the government inside
Who said "impossible"
Who said "too late"
Who said "there's no soul"
A stream of X-pectations

Cutting edge stones
used millennia ago
Replaced by cutting edge algorithms
The antidote to my regret
In my reconfigured evolution

Dreams start to render in full HD
Prompting launches that land
Retrospective adeptness
Connection restored
No longer binary Oh, yes

An antidote to regret
A cure for the abyss
I use AI to engineer my life
The way I had always dreamed
One prompt at a time

Or was i just Beta tested
To birth the singularity?
A holographic hoodlum
In a pixilated glitch...
Coined by Nakamoto a bit.

Ode to the Deep

You pride in the unseen,
Your pathway is a mystery,
Enigma runs through your vessels,
Your door leads to the untold.

Oh! How you veil your face and set us on an Odyssey,
Oh! How you take away some pieces and we run in a maze,
We sojourn through a haze.
We quest and fight.

We're dispirited by the turbulent sea,
Some hearts falter and flee,
We're led through the night's highway,
We're intercepted by strangers.

Beyond you is the place we seek,
Through you is the bridge that leads us there,
We'll no longer be slaves to fear,
We''d have gone through hell's gate.

Apart, We Flutter

I've gazed out,
But was never set free.
I just wanna sprout
And draw you into me.

Cosmos pieces us together;
She flaunts in great lavish.
Sweet solitude in our tether;
Heart of trust grows ravish.

I've peered within,
Intercepted in the midst.
Will love ever win?
Like a gash on a wrist,
It pains to ever grin.

Graceless souls betrayed.
Love’s angels lack heart
Like a grand masquerade.
Universe rips us apart;
We will forever evade
Like these poems portrayed.

Air-Raid Sirens On Sveridova Street

The unmistakable sound smacks of
church bells in purgatory -- our family
has burnt the last candles in the damp basement
crawling with mice.
Neighbors offer their flashlight, under the thunderous explosions above
rocking the building.
Toddlers cry and dogs bark, older women reminisce WWII's horrors
which they survived, and will survive again.
It's morning again, militias bring hot bread and
milk for the new-born hurried from hospital that fell to Russian missile,
intercepted. Last night here,
death was intercepted again, prolonging the Russian misery.
The air-raid sirens are now music to ear, their scratching noise filling the air
with epic serenity.
The sirens haven't robbed me of my
human potential.
Bang another explosion
I flinch back downstairs again
My heartbeats in my toes
It’s only a half past 7.

Premium MemberSoulful Awakening

Another impoverished evening
draped so strangely harsh, the moon weeps
for one more burning a soul must retain...
And she clings among lost stars
with frozen heartbeat thawing minutes
weighed on jagged sounds of owl's play.

Yet, an intercepted light begins to kindle
as she gazes at an old man by a lamp post,
seemingly collecting crumbs of reminiscences--
The tick of hours mirroring her own disquiet
while lovers pause to catch flurry of mist:

She quivers turns away from the glass pane
listening to the teapot ... her meditative chant for now--
Till a discovery of self-awakening lifts gently
Where a tiny place in her bosom invites calmness
yet to be born ...through growing roots of spirit- fire.

The Real Ghost

The real ghost intercepted my way
A ghost determined to always stay
And throw stones of night running
Towards my intimate layering

A ghost shaped to shake my shape
Idealizing the reality in the shadow
And throw spears on the gape
Reading the unwritten of law

To mitigate the foul the fall
For footprints leave the mark
Erasing you stand beside all
Recording the twinning back

The cling of a chain in a seg'
The neck of the deceased lover
To tie a stray on earlier peg
Collapsing the now forever

Nine One One

! Nine; One, One !

Red lights flashed, - the siren shrieked
As it passed me on the interstate
I slowed and realized as it sped on
They were rushing to, someones fate

An accident; a heart attack, or a fall
 Or some other unknown situation
More detail, they would soon know
   When they reached their destination

Responding to a nine; one, one call
 That attendants had intercepted
The days routine was now altered
   Plans, for sure were interrupted

The first thing that crossed my mind
As I breathed a silent prayer
  This "someone" I didn't know
Had needs of which, I was not aware

As of now, I was safe and secure
But for them, there must be pain
We never know, when we leave home
If we will ever return again

Proverbs, twenty seven; one
Is a reminder for us all
Of this, we should always be alert
Today could be, our "emergency call"

Premium MemberLonesome In a Desert

Although I hold a trace of fading reveries
How quick it drifts like sand wiping out the glow,
My heels roam a barren land through ominous hours
Raked by self- isolation mercilessly; where grief
Could never become an option in this soddy-ruddy place,
When night erases me from folds of reason
That once honored wise and knowing thoughts:

A roughened ground is now sucked up from the earth’s clay--
The kind that's hard to siphon root to leaves,
And I tremble alone on mounds of wired briar and nettle…
Until a white hawk chants its desert tune,' whit, woo,' flinging
Ghastly shadows across a moonless sky; that in
Breaths of near danger, this heart gradually awakens
To wrap me in some sacred presence within eve’s oasis …
An intercepted light nourishing my thirst for hope, for courage
As if heaven bestows that shimmer I find
Through my inner eyes…just one more time.

Curfew For My Soul

My soul flew to church
roadside beauty blocked it

Charity work it embarked on
hot mouths intercepted goods

Prayer to God it made
no response from the heavens

Ascended to the heaven
black clouds built a fence

Desperate soul mine is
curfew on earth, curfew above

Where will it find solace?
where will it find a friend?

Liquid Thought

I lay there immersed in the cosset wrap
skin smoothed into endless
the liquid thoughts on languish endless
a stretch of bone in muscle seeking comfort
finding peace for a moment
peace from the ceaseless jackhammers
leave me be
alone in the warmth of darkness

There is no plague of light
a floating “ I ” in a starless eye
only responds in breath, at one time, breathe
at one time breath
and coverts endless thoughtless
it disappears to fumble with nothing else
and hold distraction worthless
a pocket of solace indeterminate

I would sleep but for the intensity, of darkness
freed from the crash jolts incessant
and bark up this coughing “ leave me be ”
as it strains my palms behind my eyes ………………… !
Melt, melt away
and one time only breathe
the colours vanquished
and the darkness intercepted

Distracted by the silence
a penetrating presence suffuses lasting stillness
leave me be
leave me be
empty out the vault and cluttered
that hammered cripple I drag myself through
at one time the only thought to breathe
perched upon the edged of peace

I lay here
I am there
floating formless of liquidity
let myself of empty rest
in the liquid thought … less

Searching Your Whereabouts

I crossed the bridge of stars
Searching you
and found my dawn
and your dusk

On my way
I also found Billet-doux
like crushed roses
on white clouds
floating all around
with imperfect traipse
to fall back on earth

may be my love evaporated
with decapitate of soul
from body without carrying
true feelings of heart.

The unreached messages,
Intercepted signals and
Matrix tribulations
Is my cause of worry now,
I’m searching those lost messages
And searching your whereabouts
