My soul flew to church
roadside beauty blocked it
Charity work it embarked on
hot mouths intercepted goods
Prayer to God it made
no response from the heavens
Ascended to the heaven
black clouds built a fence
Desperate soul mine is
curfew on earth, curfew above
Where will it find solace?
where will it find a friend?

Intercepted time in a wind is gone,
traveled through past would it last?
Questions I have asked I've missed
the task to say goodbye, but I have cried,
and also lied, but the deepest regrets
towards my parents like the old bets
have disappeared, I have feared,
I would never see their faces again.
But then all of the tears
have erased all of my fears as
their love like a beautiful dove song
and a King Kong, message was strong.
We love you.

Free verse
I've gazed out,
But was never set free.
I just wanna sprout
And draw you into me.
Cosmos pieces us together;
She flaunts in great lavish.
Sweet solitude in our tether;
Heart of trust grows ravish.
I've peered within,
Intercepted in the midst.
Will love ever win?
Like a gash on a wrist,
It pains to ever grin.
Graceless souls betrayed.
Love’s angels lack heart
Like a grand masquerade.
Universe rips us apart;
We will forever evade
Like these poems portrayed.

Dollars from Washington,
falling so free,
please tell me quick,
where did you buy that money tree.
I have to write Santa,
and add this to my list,
oh this is amazing,
how good can things get.
Money, money, money,
under my tree,
there is plenty for you,
and plenty for me.
All these trees,
have been tucked away,
but now they are blooming,
by Washingtons way....
Now don't hold your breath,
while waiting on your tree,
it may get intercepted,
by a corporation of greed.

There once was a cat who had only one ear,
alas, only one ear had he.
How it was lost, one can only excogitate,
where it had gone, none had seen.
It could be contested it was intercepted,
by misfortune sneaking about it.
It was deemed quite plausible and not that improbable,
that carelessness, sadly, had found it.
-But the fact remained square, that it wasn't there,
and there was nothing more to say.
When asked if he missed it, he said, quite dismissive,
"I never saw it anyway".
