Un-Mother

I thought it was the rage I feared
underneath my hurt
underneath the pain
of being un-mothered

I pushed down the anger -
rationalized
intellectualized
normalized -
life as a child
with an un-mother

to avoid a rage I feared would destroy me … or her…. or …

a burning, white-hot, fist-punching, legs kicking, eyes blazing, feet stomping, full body rage

how could I not have seen
below the rage?
the tiny steps,
the slumping body,
the hung head,
the heaviness
of grief

a grief for being un-mothered

a grief that threatens to undo me

Oh! if only I had stopped at rage.

The Working Man

The Working Man
sought get old with my high school beard chased through each pillar a delight to deliver
our nations youth in sorrowful truth got them knocking best north the working man
nor a mere shoulder to cry out sweat the lulabye from a slight reply help you get by
each new day let them come your way yelling to each feature in the crazy tongue

The working man with whom you can depend exist in a solace sultry dish hard to mix
a lamp to lght a silver tree bright wisdom intellectualized order to promote its soda
lying heart prevail better chack your mail sold out feature to each trial on the double
Scarlit order will build closer you have to increase its function lock it up go to work night

seems to me I better work in my life that's why they call me the working man is what I am
The working man you better understand...,
lay a hold of the weekly price let loose as to realize as a bee in its hive the working man

Faith Like a Child

Faith Like A Child

Wisdom is the principle thing
The word is a seed planted deep in the heart
Still you believe in air yet you can't see it ?
Faith isn't intellectualized it just is

Each of us has been given great gifts
Some talents come soon others come later
Perhaps you want a different ice cream flavor ?
Such as a child looks to the sky

In columns of vast formation draws a beautiful picture
Tap into the imagination of a far off distant land
Filled with dragons, kings & queens
It's the substance of things unseen

In time the word springs forth to unleash a pure aura
It's in the in tuned harmony to the hidden beast's menagerie
We each can accomplish great things

Prayer Time

Prayer Time..Anybody Need Prayers Come Close...Dear Lord Jesus Christ, help us to discover new insight into your word. We surrender fully to your Lordship. Faith isn't intellectualized it just is...Faith is the substance of things unseen the evidence of things to come.. Lord Jesus, we have made mistakes, father being a Christian isn't about perfection but believing in a perfect savior. Lord you know our inner conflicts with the flesh. Help us to reach out to those unbelievers who have no faith in you. You said in your word Jesus if we have faith as small as a mustard seed we could speak to the mountain & it would move. Lord, create in us a clean heart & renew a right spirit within us. God gather your children into the fold that we may fall on good seed & have a bountiful harvest. Free us from ourselves.. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen

Born Again

At first it starts with a tiny seed
then the roots spring up out of the fertile soil
 preaching, teaching & service
To humbly obey is better then sacrifice

 faces, spaces & traces
It unfold with an open heart
saturated with the truth of God's word
 One must die to self

Pick up your cross on a daily basis
In time you will walk as a child
faith isn't intellectualized it just it
God's love for you is the great eternal constant

Accept Jesus into your heart as your personal savior & Lord
 hope springs a new
Continue to confess your sins & believe
Unless one is born again he can not see the kingdom

Join a bible based church that preaches the word
 pray & give tithes
Share your faith with those who are lost
create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me

Only one life will soon be passed
only what's done for Jesus will last
With what time we use today will be echoed throughout eternity
 God alone is enough

Shine the Light of Jesus

Shine The Light Of Jesus

prayers
Saving faith isn't intellectualized it just is
why be a fool when you can obey the golden rule
 not taught in school
 shadows suddenly break apart

Jesus is for everyone my friend
he came to turn us on not out friend
the best high in life is Jesus
 unconditional acceptance

although a teardrop should fall from his eyes
 broken promises not made
still his hands are outstretched in the night
hearts in tune with the message of grace

 laughter
 A flurry of smiles
no one wants to see an angry Jesus
go forth into all the world and preach the gospel

 smiling Jesus awaits his children
one must stay attached to his vine
crafted by the elegance of his great design
one hand to hold a heart will mend

 sadness breaks apart the means
his heart is an open door
 search the scriptures my friend
you have every right to know

An Angelic Presence

An Angelic Presence

Faith can move mountains of adversity in your life
Amidst the columns of hatred spilled out lies
It comes in many forms through a disguise of the wise
Filter through the sun it has tainted my inner vision
The sound of the pitter patter of soft sandaled feet
Faith isn't intellectualized it just is
Through a porch swing balance it will pull you through
Perhaps we as a society have bitten off more then we could chew
An angelic presence felt shivering in the night
Many people today are living by sight
Out of caged fury yet still it's a matter of heart
We follow the laughter to the great here after
Sullen embers frosted through a delicate beam
Heaven opened the door on what it was Iv'e been waiting for
Long lines drawn in the sand when will we understand
God has given this magic touch to a world in quite a rush
The push to reach the rainbow exposed to the elements
Never relent nor give up on the fight
A beautiful flower grows with colors of ardent red
What is going on inside our head
An angelic presence amidst life's tranquil moments

End Times

To deceive is to believe the lie

The lie that actually claims I am what I do?
To believe is to have faith yet
Faith isn't intellectualized it just is,
In the storms of life amidst the strife we stake our claim
Not to ever play the blame game
Although we must confess,
The angels almost blushed while in a rush
Just suppose?

Painted pony's with strange eskimo's'
Delightful days of getting lost in some purple haze;
The trip is on as we sing our final song
Filtered through its ellusive embrace;
In special reasons while lost in space
End times we claim the mark
The mark of the beast in sullen asps which fright in the night
Having long hanging viscous fangs that bite
We maybe living in the final days of evil

Shades of pine fallen asunder warm to lightning or was it thunder?
