Industrialisation Poems | Examples

Climate

Winter was years ago
we are plagued by the sonnets of the Sun
all our yesterdays a furnace of heat was brewing
Celluloid viewfinders of more pleasant vistas
appear deftly
Tall Ships frozen in the Arctic
and the clouds azure in the Mediterranean
We are refugees from industrialisation
and deforestation

Better Industrialisation Dream

What if I should dream
that investment shall keep
up its standard and reward?
what if I should dream
that business needs changes
perhaps, a revolution?
what if I should dream
that business though political
can be retained tomorrow?
what if I should dream
that something is ready
to be turned, perhaps to a fine flavour or zest?
what if I should dream
that nature seemed to have had
an anniversary perhaps, concerning love?
what if I should dream
that there is a tendency to place
goals and fix them?
what if I should dream
that better late than never
this time a ground may have
others should follow them?.

Flamingoes stand on one leg
If they are cold, it's said
They tuck one leg in their plume
Why not tuck both? there's room
If both legs were tucked in tight
The Flamingo would lose height
It would become a legless bird
One that's never been heard
Of, I know that the Flamingoes Pink
This comes from its diet, I think
Crustaceans in all shades of red
Is the food Flamingoes are fed
Algae and plant life too
Predators this bird has few
Toxicity and industrialisation
Will bring an end to this creation
It's a most spectacular bird
Standing quietly undeterred
Oblivious of what lays ahead
Holding on by a slender pink thread
It makes all sad to think
This endangered species will become extinct.

Environmental Problems

THE MODERN VEHICLES LIKE CAR, SHIP AND TRAIN,
BULLDOZERS, TRUCK AND CRANE,
AND ALL OTHER EXPERIMENTS THAT WENT IN VAIN,
ARE HARMING THE ENVIRONMENT
FOR THE SAKE OF DEVELOPMENT.

WE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT,
WHEN THIS DEVELOPMENT WAS BROUGHT.
BUT STILL THERE IS TIME
TO STOP THIS UNFORGIVABLE CRIME.

GLACIERS ARE MELTING,
WHICH WILL LEAVE YOU LAMENTING.
MANY ANIMALS LIVE IN THE GLACIERS AND SNOW,
AFTER THE GLACIERS MELT, WHERE WILL THEY GO?
PENGUINS, SEALS, WALRUS AND BEAR,
PLEASE SAVE THEM, OH MY DEAR!

DUE TO INDUSTRIALISATION,
THE PROBLEM THAT INCREASES IS POLLUTION,
TO WHICH GREENERY IS A SOLUTION.

GOD IS NATURE’S CREATOR,
AND WE ARE IT CARETAKER!

Oink

I am working on a bridge. It is very wide. It is not high. I am very round. But I can fly. Flap flap flap causes pink rays although I have a scent of a sea. If I land sideways I can bounce. Although I do try to avoid gardens as sometimes it can be perilous in summer months due to outdoor eating. That would require heating. "ahhhh oink" scares me witless. But I have now made the bricks safe. Now others can use this bridge. Good. Portly painting printing prolifically promising pork. And an atomic leaf floating. Great. What time is the buffet? Oink oink oink. And a crust of bread burps. X industrialisation Z

The Nature's Cry

Do we blame God?
The environment was once cool
Cool enough for our good
Till industrialisation brought its mud

Growth improved, thanks to technology
Mechanisation took over all
Our thoughts, activities and mall
Yet, it's long run effect, unknown and dodgy.

Each industrial revolution brought degradation
Rising temperatures and heat ascending
Water table rising with increased flooding
We have been enslaved by our inventions.

This isn't a case for underdevelopment
Naa, it's a cry to stand and stall
Refuse all hyper-carbon's crawl
Else the heat grows in instalment

The earth, fishes and greens crying
A brief stop, they plead, would help
Break the carbon chain as one step;
See mother nature return, smiling.
