The environment was once cool Cool enough for our good Till industrialisation brought its mud Growth improved, thanks to technology Mechanisation took over all Our thoughts, activities and mall Yet, it's long run effect, unknown and dodgy. Each industrial revolution brought degradation Rising temperatures and heat ascending Water table rising with increased flooding We have been enslaved by our inventions. This isn't a case for underdevelopment Naa, it's a cry to stand and stall Refuse all hyper-carbon's crawl Else the heat grows in instalment The earth, fishes and greens crying A brief stop, they plead, would help Break the carbon chain as one step; See mother nature return, smiling.
