Inducer Poems

Analyzing the Scene of a Bed With the Sheets In Disorder

Disordered sheets
     denounce storms of emotions,
     draw loving pictures...
     Or simply mental agitation,
      insomnia...
       However,
       always a poem sprouts...
       Can of love be agreed,
       an eureka elucubration,
       a simply inducer
       for the nonconformity of
       a poet...!

Lovely yellow and green chamomile;
delicate flowers blooming among the greenery;
I brew you into an elixir with
fresh lavender, honey and lemon.
A tasty tea to heal my sore throat
and bring much needed repose so,
I can revel in Elysian dream fields.

Angel of Mercy

You tell me of unimaginable things,
no lungs or breath to ever unspeak.
I am pushed into sparse mindscapes,
unseen acres allow endless germinations.

Yesterday is that which obsessively remains,
where I am selflessly engulfed in tomorrow.
In my ignorance to such woe and pain,
such sorrow.
This hour reimburses everything omitted.

and I am nothing.

I am nothing, my voice is deathly erased.
You, with rigour, inducer of mortis, and angel,
of darkness, and darkness holds you, culpable,
remover of shackles, lamb to the slaughter,
a loving Mother.

Stars In Maine

Rich dark blanket of night,
Silken wrapper, inducer of sleep,
You sooth the glare of harsh daylight strivings.
Half of the world sinks into rest.

Beyond the soft, tenebrous cloak: infinite brightness.
Into the dense fabric a droll designer deftly fashions
Small snips, eyelets, delicate cuttings,
Wheeling patterns – the geometry of whimsy.

Sprinklings of brilliance,
Sparkling clarity beyond imagining,
Dustings of ancient, newborn glitter,
Stars give a benediction to sleep.

Prelude

P
In a play to be titled with purpose unknown;
One quarries the listener’s with a sad undertone
The inducer induces the director directs;
And as user abuser the actor injects.
      The soldier has stumbled with a stuttering step;
      And a sickness unwanted in his mind now has crept.
      For all he once fought for now seems out of place.
      And the heft of his bundle now shows on his face.
And what are their reasons can anyone guess;
The answers are numerous but questionable at best
So be it action or drama or a showdown with guns
It’s all but presentation life’s theater has run.
    But has anyone noticed or anyone gaged
    The face in the mirror on the set of the stage;
    Is it the phantom or the wizard of Oz?
    Or perhaps it’s the writer just hoping for cause.

Absorbed

To think is to feel
and my mind tells me now,
when my heart beats,
it's real.
Still, I don't know how
you can move from my body
to my heart, to my mind
with grace - endless passion
one's unlikely to find.

Absorbed in your mystery.
Consumed by your thoughts.
Discovering planes in which
I could never be brought
by anyone else in
this madness and pain.
Exist day to day
with almost nothing to gain.

But as the tides change
and the moon shifts it's pull,
my soul is awakened
and my think tank if full.

No longer in need,
No longer held back.
Desire's fulfillment.
There's nothing I lack.

From my
Aweless thought inducer.
From my
Tender soul seducer.

Your force has been tapped.
Recognition sneaks in.
The shackles have snapped.
Let the journey begin.

Infatuated

Cool jazz notes
heady streams
rising phoenix clawed
from urban cellars.

Aural zip jangle
bourbon scents,
the cigarillo blooms
in opiate clouds.

Stray cat trashcans
metallically clatter
off dead zone alleyways
in night humidified.

Zap and jolt
shock inducer gates
at tramline pitstops
on broadway.

Risen fine hair tingles
on the forearm flesh,
aspberger genus fires
autistic focus.

Rainman obsessions
stave peripheral vision,
just neon scribble
lace wet glass.

The street-lore majesty,
gin and loganberry fetish,
collapse unstable
semantic pylons.

Power cable trawling
amniotic pools
I step and stiffen
electrified, infatuated.
