Hieroglyphs
By Evelyn Aimarie
You do not know me
The current of
Sorrow has carved indecipherable
Hieroglyphs through
My soul.
Anger has been etched into my bones
For so long
I do not know myself.

AI is groupthink, it’s hewed to pre-existing work,
which it aggregates into something bland and flat.
If you don’t want your work scraped and copied by AI, try
writing off-balance ideas that aren’t for everyone and have faith
that AI will never be able to actually rival human creativity.
Deny AI the echo chamber of predictable content on which it feeds.
I polish my pieces to a pointless sheen, which gives
them an algorithmically indecipherable quality.
When it comes my to poetry, I have to admit,
I’m working through mediocrity—hoping that it’s just a phase.
If failure is essential for growth
I’m going to be a giant
But after all, someone has to define the baseline.
You’re welcome.
Ok, Let’s wax poetic..
There are thousands of stars
in that black outer-place
where gravitas holds them
firmly in place.
I fret not about avian abductions,
or unidentified flying soccers,
still, I’ve a waxed on them
in multiverse

Why write about love
when I can write about quantum physics,
its mathematics as indecipherable
as God.
QP is the chaos undergirding reality
and tells me things I see are not solid;
the stratum of surface soil holding roots
of grass isn't really there.
It's nothing bizarre or otherworldly,
and reveals how everything is connected
to everything else through higher dimensions
we can't comprehend.
Even the mutiverses are caught dancing
in the entanglement of strings with us,
going around and about in theory,
it makes me quite dizzy.
Revelation is like removing a veil
so things invisible can clearly be seen,
not with sight but with mind ~
I think therefore I am!

POISONS
Boldly betrayed by my body
It came so fast
Poison coursing through my veins,
My Source, my Self,
Frightening and sure, traveling it’s way
Through me,
Out to get me from my Life,
Taking my blood and twisting ugly
Mutations into unfathomable letters,
Indecipherable Latin words,
No longer my lifeblood
But an enemy who has no use for
Life and cleanliness and health
Lauding power over my Will.
Next, an oxymoronic healing poison
Is injected directly into my Source,
Destroying all and everything in its wake
Unable to take into account the
Character of its red and white victims -
Good, bad or indifferent -
It kills without point or prejudice,
Intentional serial murders with
Fragile tentative plans for
Redemption and regrowth,
It tires me with its vehemence.
It is so exhausting is to wake up and have
Nothing but confusion and hope
As catalysts for breathing and taking in
The mysterious days ahead.

As humanity unfolds you can see the convenience of the buried secrets society has left to disregarding the inevitable point of curiosity humans always have for we unshroud anything we can produce as indecipherable. As the dirt is further dug we shall only find ourselves to be consumed by the great leviathan that which its appellation as we all are aware is called the great unknown or as I see it the whispering void. then our shells consumed among the worms nothing more than more secrets locked away.

In the ebbing light
She will call you
winding to the sea
her chimes echoes
for a well remembered life
As thought is to be brow
I will follow you
with the chiming wind
I really care
wont someone special really listen
The Friday home
like graded blues
dipping into the neon indecipherable

the dream friend of mine
is the temple of contemplation
from the fearful threshold...
life is for
let's forget our origins...
Only in dream
we light...
We are illuminated by the constant movement
from the cosmic silence...
Our quest and frailty
consists of this...
not knowing where we came from
and where are we going to...
This is still indecipherable!

Of the green mystery
from the forest, realize that i
understand a little bit,
of the blue puzzle
from the sea, almost
I understand without
scares ...
I just can't
translate
messages that
your black abyssal eyes
transmit:
they don’t say anything,
but they say everything, that
I cognize nothing ...!

Identical twins have a mystical language no one else knows.
They can catch each other’s eyes and laugh forever.
One is dependent, wants to dress alike until they are a hundred.
Her twin is the boss, and does not want to dress alike at all.
They send and receive indecipherable silent messages.
Sharing a womb and a family has bonded them forever.

Longing
by Michael R. Burch
We stare out at the cold gray sea,
overcome
with such sudden and intense longing . . .
our eyes meet,
inviolate,
and we are not of this earth,
this strange, inert mass.
Before we crept
out of the shoals of the inchoate sea,
before we grew
the quaint appendages
and orifices of love . . .
before our jellylike nuclei,
struggling to be hearts,
leapt
at the sight of that first bright, oracular sun,
then watched it plummet,
the birth and death of our illumination . . .
before we wept . . .
before we knew . . .
before our unformed hearts grew numb,
once again,
in the depths of the sea’s indecipherable darkness . . .
When we were only
a swirling profusion of recombinant things
wafting loose silt from the sea’s soft floor,
writhing and sucking in convulsive beds
of mucousy foliage,
flowering,
flowering,
flowering . . .
what jolted us to life?

even
more so
today what's
said must be to what
whatever society's censors
say may or may not be
but a term i dispise as
being "politically" correct
when
younger
i checked myself
by saying geeze instead
of jesus and the oh so visual
wording of h e double toothpicks
while playing
pickup sticks
then
the introduction
to pig latin 101 when
something so simple
seemed like Kaczynski's
written indecipherable diary
but verbally knowing
no one knew
a linguistic
magician's
slight of hand
putting the first letter
at the end then adding
an ay so now can you say
under which cup
the new word is
can you
fathom or
imagine the right
before your eyes and
ears what trickery i could
perform as my Mum gasped
me not grasping
she couldn't
believe
that i
knew that word
but also had used
that word in her house
and now i at the age of
thirty two
she slapped me
after
running
from out of
a backroom
when i so unso
phisticatedly spoke
not as Socrates being
Greek to me said

I am full
Of emptiness
I long for longing
Crave contentment
The insensate pain
Of intangible touch
Indecipherable ciphers
Choreographed madness
Craggy comfort
Of blunt condolence
The decorum of anarchy
Deserted crowds, social solitude
Miles given to intercept steps
At the dawn of abundance
I see only
bones of ghosts
Whose meager admonishment
I forgot to unlearn
Unredeemed
And unrepentant
I am in love
With loneliness.

I pressed a rose
taken from the bouquet of lavender,
a dozen scented budding and flowering
fragrance rising in the warm spring sun.
Strange to think that these you did not see
when roses were flowers you pressed easily.
Once they were yellow, friendship hinted bonds
that slipped to floral pink shades with time
and in the later years, the crimson red
bulged blossoms of love.
The service said it all
my tears in the silence freely falls
as these last years stretched out
and your silent acceptance bared your pain.
Time and age are indecipherable
as we each played our roles
and all the dreams and experiences
framed us into who we are, were.
Baby's breath and lavender roses pale and dry
in a last kiss goodbye and farewell
while the very bonds of love
remain forever tied.
