a sweaty mugginess
falls to the scent of showered skin
our voices that cede to song
sweet nectar clean, the heart of touch
touch, that lathers compassion in the
voltage of erotic energy
essence of belonging
discarding grime, the brittleness of worry
as steam rises, circular bursts,
that tap the glass with wet
streams to trail skin, imprecisely,
criss-crossed on pink flesh like laces of cloud-ribbons
our love side-steps the edge of drought
to scrub the core of understanding
anatomical knowing, seductive like pie
no hinges of grim jawed anger
our tireless exploration, currents of motion
time best spent in the curl of our folds
as we shower beneath the tarty chatter of water
boundless,
breezy
like a tonic surge of rain

The Earth rotates on her axis and orbits the Sun
Not imperfectly, not imprecisely, not inexactly
Her pathway is precise, her timing exquisite
The rooster crows at daybreak, at the crack of dawn
Not before, not after, not while it is still nighttime
His timing is impeccable, his song unchanging
The constellations appear in the sky at their appointed seasons
Neither trying to anticipate their emergence, nor extend their stay
Their formations flawless, their gleam glorious
And humanity sees nought, hears nought
Living life as blind, as deaf, as beggars

Breakfast is forgotten by lunch
Visits to the park never taken are
added in error to the memory bank
Like long overdue library books,
recollections cannot be reconciled
with his currently fuzzy realities
The ones he diligently scribbles down
daily in the notebook that sits by his chair
The appointments and events;
the upsets and resentments,
all written, carefully, yet imprecisely
in his inimitable, doctor-esque scrawl
none that, truth be told, he can recall
And yet....he remembers your name
A face he's only seen
on a smartphone screen,
a face and a name that have
planted seeds of happiness
and hope for happiness,
in the once fertile, now tired soil
of his lonely imagination

The Passage Of Love
I perpetually lived in the acrimonious for many years,
For that which mine turn out not to be mine
For many years I have been toddling in the passage
This was imprecisely of the Pure Love
Insensitive and sissy was I – for recently the veil of
Fantasy and infatuation was removed out of my face.
It’s now unequivocal to me that there many passages
That seems of Pure Love yet not!
I thank God for this Day – For in you I have found the
Heart that possess the Pure Love
That Love gives Hope for the better future,
Mercy, honest, gentle, faithful and Loving is the Heart!
I Love you and I will always Love you!

Dawn again in this gaol
The jailbirds are imprecisely numbering
One hundred and sixty million
Or more of my countrymen.
The jailors are three hundred and sixty humpty down
And 109 dumpty members up.
You will never see vessels that
Could be emptier.
Empty headed riggers; we never elected
The two other estates of the realm
Are but a sham.
Even the fourth just stroll
Through the corridors
Hoping to be beckoned in
To share of the loot.
They call it national cake.
The ignoble governors are known
For stealing huge funds
And they show no shame;
You can't show what you don't have.
And so nothing works anymore.
Yesterday, Yusuf John stole 23 billion naira
Worth of of public fund.
He was taken to court and he confessed.
The the lead-headed judge,
Slapped his wrist with an option
Of seven hundred thousand naira
Worth of fine.
The thief paid instantly from his back pocket
And walked away free.
Never has there been a country like mine
Never will there be any like it.

Ten words spoken from Sinai, gospel spores broadcast
Holy be the will of Creator, the miracle of voice
Emmanuel from the beginning, gone to come again
Beginning before blossoming bulge and coming seed
Inspired word in stigma of spirit and gold pollen of faith
Book of all books bringing light like grass to feed the lambs
Love brings multitude to praise, and by it we connsecrate
Eternal choices in the sanctified heart. The Bible reigns
Read it for wisdom, for peace, joy and salvation
Enter its pages prayerfully: a sanctuary of meditation
Invite the Holy Spirit for friendship and clarification
God cleanses sinners for love repent to find conversion
Nature speaks imprecisely its clouded revelation
Shiloh offers rest, a Sabbath from creation, to heal and restore
